I have volunteered with SCORE for several months and love it. It is a great place to make a difference to the community.

This place has given me nothing but problems! I do not recommend this program to anyone ! Have been getting the run around for several months and only met with one mentor once for maybe 10 minutes to find out he was not able to help me. When I was scheduled to meet with the right mentor they cancelled on me two times . and had the secretary call me at work and try to schedule a next day mentor meeting , and told me if I didnt take that appointment that the next time I would be able to get in would be several more months down the road. So I became flexible and agreed to come on my lunch break the next day, after working out with my boss that I would be leaving in the middle of the work day to go to the mentor meeting , the secretary calls me back the next day which was supposed to be my meeting day and says there was yet another schedule conflict and the last minute meeting was cancelled. The secretarys name is Sam, and I firmly believe that having an issue is one thing , but to continue to have these issues directly reflects the fact that these people at score in this location have a long way to go when it comes to internal communication, and have been very unpleasant and unprofessional to have the mis pleasure to deal with.
