This place is great if you are in need of vacuum cleaner or sewing machine repair. They are all about customer service and they are very helpful.

Doug explained to me that my machine was gummed up with oil even after having it serviced at another prominent establishment twice within 90days it wasnt working properly! So, with that being said, I wont be taking it back to the other store to rip me off! Thanks, Doug for being a truly honest and reliable servicemen.

We got the perfect vacuum at a great price. We have 4 large hairy dogs and about 2,000sq.ft. of tile that we try to vacuum daily. It’s killed 2 vacuums so far so we opted to go to a physical store to compare models. Ernesto and Armando were very knowledgeable and were able to easily demonstrate the features and benefits of several different models that might suit our needs. Every time I have been in there for central vac parts, dust collector parts, or even just a replacement hose for a drywall sander (today), they have had what I needed. They have always been helpful in figuring out what I needed and always pleasant.I read another review that thought they were expensive. Well you get what you pay for. If Home Depot gave you this kind of help and advice they would be way more expensive than Coast is. I feel that I always get my moneys worth at Coast and you cant say that about every business you go into around here.

I’ve had 3 tuneups in the last 10 years.I’m in my 70’s so I forget many things and the owner is patient and kind. (I forgot how to thread my rose machine the right way)🤪

I drove from Temecula. Moore’s in Temecula told me three weeks. Coast got it done in three days! My Phaff is about 20 years old display brightness was going out. He fixed that too. Moore’s in Temecula told me it wouldn’t be worth the cost to fix it. Coast was amazing they fixed that as part of servicing my machine. Integrity is not easily found these days. They have it!!! I always love to support small, family owned businesses-and when you have a showroom stocked with inventory and fantastic service it’s a no brainer to make your next purchase at Coast! Armando answered all my questions and demonstrated the various vacuums in his inventory. Once I purchased the Miele vacuum, Armando took it out of the box, assembled it and took it to my car! I was absolutely amazed at his knowledge, fabulous service and passion for his products. I won’t shop anywhere else again for vacuum and cleaning products!

These people are terrific! Im visiting friends from out of town and my 30-year-old White sewing machine needed tuning up. They squeezed me into an already-busy schedule, cleaned and adjusted it for a reasonable price, and had me on my way when they said they could. Doug, the sewing-machine repairman, also took the time to show me how to avoid making the mistakes Id made before.The other thing I love about this place is that it seems to have every possible line of vaccum cleaner and sewing machine, including oldies but goodies, in good repair. They also have cleaning supplies Ive never seen before. If you want something difficult to find, you can probably find it there.Good service, low-key, fair prices...if you need your machine fixed, or you need supplies, call these folks first!

I inherited a beautiful old Singer Sewing Machine which needed rewiring. Don at Coast Sewing and Vacuum rewired it and gave the machine a tune-up. Oh, my! Awesome...The machine is like brand spanking new! It sounds beautiful and looks beautiful,. A big thank you. Im so happy to have a shop like this in Escondido. Friendly staff too.Also. I brought a nice ostrich feather duster...Nice shop to drop in and see what they have and admire the display of beautiful old sewing machines.

I am very happy with Coast Sewing & Vacuum Center! My wife was looking for a new vacuum cleaner and thought a Dyson was what she wanted. We went in and talked to the staff and they showed us the Simplicity vacuum. We had never heard of this vacuum but were impressed by its performance. On top of that its made in the USA!Took the vacuum home and wow are we impressed by the performance, this is the best vacuum we have had and we own a Kirby too. I highly recommend this place! They know their stuff!

Brought my ten year old dyson in to see if it could be repaired...It could, but after showing me a yellow Simplicity MADE IN AMERICA vacuum I decided I needed a new one. The wonderful guy who waited on me explained everything and even did a small repair to my old one so I can still vacuum up rocks and leaves outside with it. Now after using my new vac for a couple of weeks I love it. I cannot believe how they thought of everything...and its warranted for six years.

I have been coming here for years and moved out of the city and took my vacuum somewhere else to be repaired and they did a terrible job and didnt even fix it. So I came back to Coast Sewing and Vac and they did a fabulous job repairing it and cleaning it and doing what was necessary to get it up and running. I highly recommend them and they are Pleasant and it is a very clean store.

CLASSIC, GREAT SERVICE, INVENTORY AMAZING

Brought my sewing machine over. It turned out to be a simple bobbin case replacement. I was happy about that since this is not the first time my bobbin case has broken. However, after replacement, I started having problem again. I brought the part back to Coast. The owner went above and beyond trying to find the right piece--even to the point of calling other stores and then finally ordering and expediting shipping. However, for all the extra work, he was still sent the wrong part. Ive since learned that my machine needed the embroidery bobbin case. The point of this post, is that Coast did everything to find the right part. What a sweet and kind man. Thank you.
