I was emailed a quote based on preliminary measurements. Upon the representatives arriving I was hit with a revised quote after they went through that was over double the original amount and contained fees not divulged during the preliminary discussion. The representatives were professional but I would have desire a buisness to be more upfront about costs rather than low-ball quotes to get a foot in the door and bank on people caving rather than find other professionals to do the work.

Security screen, new slider screen, and new window screensGreat job! Since our place is near the ocean, the door frame is askew quite a bit. But Steve took his time and built out a frame for the security screen. He took his time and did it right. Very nice man. Always showed up when he said he would. I kept having him come back to do more work on other jobs (such as rescreening our sliding door screen, then replacing our window screens).Great guy, great service!

Will never use this company. We witnessed his truck speeding in our neighborhood almost causing a crash as we were backing out of our driveway. Part of responsible business is being respectful and clearly there was no respect shown when this truck swerved around us traveling at extreme speeds on a residential street full of children.

Johns provided excellent, speedy and effective services. The first challenge was to provide screens on our 87 year old house without disturbing the original window molding and 1930s crank windows. Second challenge was to install an insect-proof screen door on another 87 year old structure w an existing odd-size door and framing long since out of true.Johns addressed both. The results are very good screens and a customized screen door with features that make it all the more useful and fully consistent with the style of our 4th generation family ranch.I recommend Johns Screen Service fully.

What started out by me to be a simple DIY project, turned in to a nightmare, that is until I contacted Johns Screen Service. Steve came out to look at my patio sliding screen door need and assured me that Johns could help me. Turns out that the opening for my sliding door assembly, over time had become out of square, which is not so uncommon Steve informed me. Johns provided a new screen door, and begin the install. After numerous adjustments to the opening of my sliding glass door assembly and a couple of adjustments to the screen door frame itself, my new sliding screen door was opening and closing as Johns had promised. I must emphasize that Steve worked his butt off on this job, underneath the mid-day sun, pulling out many tricks he has accumulated over years of experience in this business.. I am so grateful to Steve and Johns Screen Service for providing me with this new screen door. I will, without hesitation, hire them again when I have the need.

We were promised the screen 2-3 days. After calling, 12 days later they said it was just sitting there. We were very disappointed. I will not use them again or recommend them.

Wanted to get a quote for a custom screen door for my dog ! He said he would call me back with a quote, I waited for his call back once I told him the size of door I felt like he was not interested in customizing that style, he could of told me that instead he blew me off felt disrespected would not do business with him
