We visited the garden section. Had what we wanted in stock. They had a nice selection of plants and staff was friendly.

Escondido Lowes is blowing other SD Lowes out if the water. I spent DAYS on the phone with Mission Valley & Eastlake Lowes. On hold for hours in their vicious phone system.My experience on the phone with Escondido was far superior. Humans answered the phone, did stock checks for me and got back to me. Amazing. Thank you John from hardware and Steve from flooring. Appreciated!

Lowes in Escondido has great customer service. I normally shop at Home Depot because of the lack of customer service at Lowes. But the Escondido location is one that I will shop at often. Im a handy woman. LOL. so sometimes I need a little direction. And Lowes Escondido is a really good store. I recommend doing business with this location.

Not the best experience went there for a whiskey barrel and some soil The garden crew decides to restock soil in the middle of Saturday had the soil area blocked had to ask for some help with a whiskey barrel employee watch me struggle until my wife spoke up and said can you help him. Ended up buying the soil on another store they needed train their staff better

Staff is hard to find but they help until youre taken care of.LOWES has a military discount but you have to verify online. Then you give the cashier your ID and phone number to apply your discount.Happy to come here.

They need more help. People need to know what they are talking about. More inventory would be nice too!

The only person that is ever helpful has been Joel. He is now a manager. He is always helpful. The other staff on the floor and in departments have never approached us to see if we need help.

Its super clean. Was in just wondering around and was asked at least twice if I need assistance. Plus its close for me.

Had a smoker on the floor and inventory was available...until we tried to buy, then it couldnt be found. Alternate was to order online and get in a week or two. Dont bother - other options available. Had a great smoked meal tonight thanks to other box stores having inventory.

Christmas selection completely picked over. Went to find other regular type of supplies and couldnt find anyone to help. After we had given up and 2 different associates past us they didnt offer help or acknowledge us as other similar stores would. We did however find a sweet baby Yoda nightlight!

On our experience at Lowe’s, we were looking for a big enough container to hold our items for our upcoming Wedding. After searching through many containers, and also measuring them to need to be at least 16 inches. We find the perfect one, but no lid. So, we ask Sales associate Alex to help in locating a lid. He searched high and low, as just as we were about to give up, he finds one. He not only saved the day for my fiancé and I, but I saw how he assisted another female customer before us. Brought an canopy. Its missing 2 screw. But that ok.. The height of the canopy was not the height it said on the box. But that ok too. Im not being picky. Im trying to stay positive this year. Ty Lowes

Pros:Clean store. Super helpful employees.Cons:Not their fault, but the store is next to a concentrated homeless area in town and they use the handicapped stall. Bummer for when a wheelchair, buying customer needs to use it.

Honestly if I could give them a lower rating I would. I purchased a shed for my son using my debit card which is the same as cash. We returned the shed because it was not the correct ones that we needed. And it has been over three weeks now trying to get our money back. The law says that they must return it to the card that was used to purchase it. However they have refused. They have been making me wait for my money and that’s just wrong. I’ve had to make several calls write letters speak to so many different people and nobody seems to wanna do the right thing so the only thing I know to do is to warn you guys who are potentially reviewing them. Stay away do not do business Home Depot is a much better option!

I was looking for items I needed for a community cleanup and was having trouble finding a few things. Lowes staff were so incredibly helpful in physically showing me where to find the different things I needed. Joel, in particular, was so helpful and went above and beyond! I called the store to check on stock and they told me that they have 7 in stock. I then went to store 20 mins later and the store staff tells me that they are showing 7 in stock but they cant find the items. They checked everywhere supposedly and still cant find them.This wasted my valuable time and shows never to trust Lowes when it comes to stock check. I think I will just shop at Homedepot from now on.

Only place that has 4 foot tall by 50 feet long chicken wire and is a pretty good price.

While the store is great the parking lot is a mess, strewn with trash, debris from homeless living in and around the parking lot. I was concerned about leaving my car in the lot!

I went on line to look for a steel lawn edger. I went to the Poway Lowes as they were supposed to have 3 in stock. They didnt have them and told me they had a supply at their Escondido store. I drove 20 miles to get there. They had none in their shelves, as they were taken down as they were almost out if stock, and just 2 were sitting on an unmarked cart. Hey Lowes, your inventory control is horrible.

Ordered custom blinds. It took way longer than it should have. Hopefully they will be perfect for where they are going. Blinds came early. They fit perfectly and the color is perfect. Lowes shipped them to us. Installed easily.

Lowes my favorite toy store. Not as crazy crowded as Home Depot and better quality products.

My wife and I really do like this store. Shes really into gardening and we shop here frequently for most everything we need for home and garden. Me a good tip: if youre buying packaged soil, if you find any bags that are torn open, theyll take a few bucks off rhe price. Pretty kool. Unfortunately some peeps find it amusing or something to purposely rip bags open(NOT KOOL) It ruins it for everyone. Anyways enjoy your visit here, employees are always helpful and friendly. 😁

Lowes was ok. We found some plants to purchase. Better check them before you buy though. We saw whole shelves of plants just withered and dying.But overall what we found have survived so far.

I hate this place!!!! No one can ever help you out! Internet and store not match whats instock or where the item is located. Pro side always slow 🐌 employees always playing around and talking about personal life stuff. They simply dont care about the customers.

Stopped by Lowes escondido today at 3:15 pm April 3rd 2021 a young kid Will and older man Jeff helped me out today. They were extremely helpful and even went above and beyond looking in the back when they couldnt find what I needed up front. Even after that they all helped me load my truck up and were just overall very pleasant. I would highly recommend this Lowes. Thank you agian Jeff and Will!!!

Its nice to have choices between improvement stores. I seem to always buy from all of them not just one! Lowes is always more expensive. This time we are redoing our kitchen. Not a lot of choices if you want a color other than white! I love our ceiling fan from here though.

Found the light I wanted. Showed it was a clearance item on the web site. They sold it to me at the store for the sale price.

At Lowes, unlike other stores, the employees are always ready to give you a hand.

The customer service manager is scandalous says items were returned from our receipt when it wasnt! And when I called to make a complaint to a different department supervisor she pretended to be a manager of the store and told me to f off! Horrible customer service Ive never been so appalled! They have a very good selection or HVAC duct work piece 🧩. I tried the depot and they didnt have the required parts. Lowes was well with the extra drive and the prices were good.

We came in for Carpet selections and estimated price, and we were being assisted by Justin in Flooring section. Justin is awesome with his knowledge, profession, and friendly customer service. I wanted to find a pickling cucumber plant. Lowes is the only one that carried it. Will be my first stop next time I need plants.

They generally have what I need in a nice clean store and unlike Home Depot, you can generally find someone to help you if you have a question.

Organization of the store makes no sense outside of the lumber section, but thats pretty much expected at hardware stores. It can be difficult to find someone who is a subject matter expert for certain sections. Other than that, this store is great. If I need to rent a truck or van for a project, this is the only option. Before the outbreak, they took good care of their vehicles. Now, they could probably roll it into a showroom. Very friendly and professional. Rental department isnt just helpful, you can generally find someone who knows the machine youre about to use inside and out.Lowes is now expensive than other hardware stores, but you get what you pay for.

I found the whole experience to be peaceful and relaxed and found what I needed quite easily.

This location is where costumer service comes to die. Just drive to Vista, where the store is clean and people are nice.

They do have the things that home depot does not have. Nice to have them both in town

Customer service was amazing but trying to hmget a key made took a really long time. I didnt have exact change for the machine so I had to wait for a c/s person. He was friendly but took a long stroll, maybe he was helping others? I dont know but it was longer than expected. I understand with COVID it takes longer to get things accomplished, yet other people were in and out much faster.

I appreciate that the staff here is always helpful and patient for this DIYer who sometimes is clueless.

Ive been here countless times, it really took me a while to appreciate the ease of going here by experiencing just how bad Home Depot has become. Lowes is doing sometimes right.

Im tired of using self checkout machines here. Every week I see fewer and fewer cashiers open and Im done with lowes. Those machines are a pain in my and and if you cant staff your store properly to take care of me Im going elsewhere.

Always have what I want...

Lots of great products and good customer service. They even have products in stock that may be out of season. Unlike Home Depot whose management is sub-par, i will go out of my way to come here rather than the Home Depot which is practically 3 blocks away. The only negative is that while Lowes does have military discounts, they make you fill out an application online which according to the cashier takes about 5 mins. At HD all you have to show is your ID.

Bought tile for my shower here. Quality was very poor. Tile was stained and chipped. The stains did not come out even with cleaning the tiles. Returned it. Justin at the flooring department was very rude and not interested in helping us in any way. He even left the flooring department and pretend he was busy else where to avoid helping us. His manager Jay was equally terrible and hard to flag down. Zero customer service and very low quality tile. Don’t purchase from here or waste your time. My husband is a veteran and they mistreated him also and left him doing all the heavy lifting and manual labor of the tile and boxes because Justin’s (the flooring employee) back was injured and there was NO other employees available to help. Terrible experience and an embarrassment to customer service !

This location has the worst receiving department. I arrived 30 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment and during my check-in the clerk informed me he was the only person in receiving and would unload me once another person is available to answer the phone and door. I let him know I had just one pallet to unload, this information was for his planning purposes. His reply was, I dont care if its one pallet or 51 pallets! I was a bit shocked by his demeanor and said, no sweat.After waiting in my truck for 40 minutes waiting to get unloaded, I called the store manager and asked her if she could assist by getting somebody to answer the phones so I could get unloaded, she said she would see what she could do.A couple forklifts arrived in the area but were not sent to unload me, I asked them if they could unload me, they did and I thanked them.I returned to receiving to get my paper work signed. When I knocked on the door and it opened there were 4 people in receiving, I was beyond surprised to see that many.When I handed the paper work to the lady who answered the door, I started to tell her all I need is a signature because the load was unloaded. The original clerk said, I wonder who unloaded it, they better not have damaged it. I just looked at him and ask, why did you lie to me? His reply was, they just got here.I call BS on the fact the other three people just showed up, I saw two of them actually working when the door opened. His poor attitude and failure to take responsibility for his assigned tasks shows his lack of ability to be trusted. What he, his manager and Lowes management fail to recognize is during the week Im a vendor but on the weekends Im a consumer.

Had a fridge delivered today. Thomas and his partner were great, they really knew what they were doing. We have some crazy stairs and he had no problem. Unlike some of the other delivery workers.We had a delivery scheduled the week prior and right away the guy said they couldn’t do it, the stairs we’re a big problem, that we should buy a smaller fridge. Overall very rude and unprofessional. That fridge also had a dent and they tried to play it off as nothing when it clearly had a dent. Fortunately we were able to get a new one and got Thomas this time. It was quick and easy, outstanding job, really showed his experience and expertise.5 stars thanks to Thomas

We recently ordered a dryer from Lowes but unfortunately it had scratches on it out of the box. We worked with Sandy on an exchange and she took care of it quickly. She is knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Upon delivery of the new dryer it was in excellent condition. Also the two deliverymen were both very nice and professional. We shop at Lowes often and have purchased our last few appliances there. Always a great experience.

Well, the staff wasnt nearly as friendly and helpful as I remember. I asked to find a handheld vacuum. I was told, around the corner against the wall. I walked around for 5 minutes and couldnt find it. When I asked another staff member, she was a bit more pleasant, but not much more. She did however, give me better directions, nowhere close to where the first guy told me. Then, the selection was poor. Only 2 vacuums available. Poor experience at best, although fortunately, the vacuum I was looking for was in stock. They need to get back up to standards there or Home Depot is gonna leave em in their dust.

Pleasantly surprised. I was window shopping while my car was being worked on at Pepboys, just down the street (who by the way, did an excellent repair on my car). I actually found a couple of things at this Lowes to be cheaper than another big box brand. So, I bought them. Very happy with THIS Lowes store.

Lowes Home Improvement in Escondido has all you need for your home.Lowes carries the odd light bulbs we need for our vanity, at a good price. We like to check their Christmas stuff after Christmas for the cool stuff they have at a discount.We also like to get our plant there. My thumbs not too green, so luckily they have people there that can help you pick stuff out and advise you to lower the death rate of your plants.

Lowes always seems cleaner than the other place. Helpful and polite staff - also dont always get that elsewhere. I usually know what Im looking for, but once in awhile I would understand some customers frustration finding help. I tend to go in the evenings after work rather than weekends and it doesnt seem to be as much of an issue.
