They stopped printing badges at this location, so I will have to change my home gym to one which will prints badges.Overall clean, but the mens shower stall area could be cleaned better, or more often. Specific items include: replace ripped or dirty shower curtains sooner, scrub white hard water deposits in the shower stall, improve air ventilation to eliminate odors, provide more spray bottles in the sink area where people wash hands, pressure steam or wash the shower area. Replace the shower head mount in the disabled shower, so it stays mounted and stops falling.

The gym itself is fine, but good luck getting a Smith machine, or even a bench, because people bring other equipment over and basically camp out there. I pretty much just come here to tan and work or elsewhere.

NOMADS: I drove further into Escondido and didnt go to the PF right near the freeway because of the reviews. And let me tell you, I am so happy I did. I had a long HOT shower. I washed my hair and shaved. These showers have a changing area in the same stall as your shower. So it is totally private and you can keep your belongings near by. If I am ever in the area I will return. Showers are cleaned around 3am, but even at about 8pm when I arrived the showers werent filthy. A bit of hair but nothing felt filthy.

This place is a joke. I had signed up for the gym before the pandemic. So during the pandemic it closed down for a while. Then when they reopen the just automatically started charging my account again. 5 months pass by and i go to talk to them why wasnt i notified that the charges will be continued. They said its nothing they can do about it. And they dont give out refunds. Which was fine with me i just wanted to be comp credit or something. So i tried to cancel my membership and they give me and email. So i go online and try all kinds of things. Nothing worked. So i called them and they tell me i need to come in to cancel. But they advertise No Commitments. At this point i just want to divorced from this Marriage with them..

Need more smith machines, but other than that theyre pretty neat.Got your typical eyegore purple scheme and pizza days.Much love

I had a membership at this place for me and my family, I decided to cancel because I noticed that throughout covid I was been charged. I try getting in touch with someone shut down there was no one. I then notice that was charge twice for membership fees try talking to manager who is never around the girls are young and unprofessional when you talk to them they act like young teens who dont know what to do .I was told manager was not around I cancel my membership and was charge 2 days later for my membership in all the memberships .I called and was told by a ride young lady that the manager was not around and told why why I needed him I told her my problem and told me well thats to bad . I then told her when he would be in the office and told me there was no manager and his schedule changes always after s while the line went dead so my frustrations is that all this money is coming out of my account for s while go to your past statement and check.

Best place to work out. The staff are always friendly, supportive and genuinely happy to see you every morning. Even at 4am. Always clean too.

I love this gym! I have 100+ lbs to lose because of some medical issues over the last ten years and, of course, poor habits. Planet Fitness is the only gym I feel comfortable working out. The staff is always ready to help out; the other members are there to work out, not ’hook-up, ’ and it is just a friendly, good vibe place to achieve your goals. I havent been back since the COVID closures, but I am looking forward to getting back in and doing more than just walking! Thanks, Planet Fitness, for making your gym all-inclusive 😊

I absolutely love this gym. Been coming here for about three years now and when I thought I was going home for texas after my time in the military, this gym played a big part in my decision to stay out here in cali. Only pet peve I have is the people that dont re rack their weights. Its the number one rule of gym etiquette.

This is how a gym should be! Plenty of machines and diverse workout options. Absolutely cant beat the bang for the buck here, $10 a month is an Incredibly fair price for what you get. I would highly recommend them to anyone. At no extra charge you can make an appointment to consult with a trainer who will help you design a workout routine that will enable you to achieve all your fitness goals.

I have a black elite card, so I occasionally go to the San Diego location. I enjoy going to both locations. I really love the way they keep up on cleanliness. There are plenty of machines around for everyone! Calisthenic pull up bars, they have them!

$10 per month is a deal you cant beat. It was difficult at times to use some machines like the cable crossover, row and lat pull down. That entire are is pretty busy overall. I usually had to go in mornings or after 10:00pm otherwise id be waiting. It would have been nice to have a free weight bench or squat rack, but there may be liability concerns of some sort. But overall for those just looking to drop a few pounds and get in shape theres more than enough here to do.

Customer service is good. Eduardo and Alex are a pair of Professionals. They polite and they make sure the customer is happy and satisfied. Mens locker room is clean and so are the showers. Ready to go!!!

Good location, clean equipment, and good prices. While this isn’t my home Planet Fitness gym, I’ve been here several times and have always enjoyed how well maintained and clean it is kept.

Best workout center I have joined. Friendly knowledgeable staff, clean, etiquette rules, state of art equipment in all varieties, lots of Ceiling TV, 24 hours, $20 month includes using any Planet Fitness center nationally, free use of the Hydro massage beds and chairs, enjoyable to work out, results noticeable with consistent attendance, trainers included as requested. Large modern restrooms and locker rooms. Incredible value.

This gym is so clean and every employee genuinely seems happy to help and to be there. The environment is friendly and everybody is working on bettering themselves without the judgment. I don’t know about the other gyms, but I definitely recommend the Escondido location.

A lot of buff dudes which is great. It’s fun to watch people stare in the windows at people exercising by the windows. Clean bathrooms

Small and kinda dirty...has that real gym smell, but it kinda reminds me of old school gyms i used to go to. Lol....equipment is in good shape and staff is very friendly.

Great place. Clean and mellow in the morning. Afternoon gets busy as usual to a gym but there are tons of cardio machines so you wont wait in line for one. Staff is awesome and very friendly.

People are generally laid back and relaxed. No pressure about the way you look or how much weight youre lifting. They have a pretty good collection of machines, and its not too crowded weekdays early morning and certain days late at night.

This is a good gym to have a complete pleasant workout. It is clean and well kept. There are several different types of equipment to use. Dues are reasonable.

Staff is all very nice and the gym is clean and well kept. Great atmosphere for casual or new gym goers. Dont recommend for 5x a week serious lifters.

Best bang for your buck if you consistently go to the gym. Friendly staff. Very clean and well maintained. Lots of cardio machines. No barbell rack. No squat rack. Nothing that other gyms typically have. But I find that the large quantity of free weights and 5 smith machines are sufficient for getting a strength workout done.

Great inexpensive 24 hr gym to workout at, just dont expect a whole lot of weights. You have your dumbbells, fixed weight barbells 20 to 60lbs, leg press and Smith machines for free weights. Other then that, mostly machines. Crowded between 6pm to roughly 11pm depending.

First time coming to the Escondido location and on a plus side.. it was empty. Nothing’s better than an empty gym but walking into an empty gym that literally smells like cat litter woke me the hell up, that’s for sure. Front desk staff wasn’t the most helpful when I asked how the setup was and where the locker rooms/ certain machines are located, but it was early so they were probably half asleep anyways. Woman’s locker room was clean and the sounds of crickets coming from one of the lockers was a nice relaxing effect while The Weeknd was playing. I’ll definitely return since the location is nice and convenient for me but I’ll apologize in advance if I bring a can of Raid in because this crickets driving me insane.

Theres about 4-5 treadmills that dont work. When I first started coming here it felt good and clean. Recently for the past 3 months machines are breaking down and the entire gym feels extremely dirty, its hard to breath in there. I noticed the young employees that work in the evening when I usually go. They dont clean whatsoever. I give it two stars only because its a great location for my convenience and I like the equipment setup but unfortunately now I cant enjoy them. Really bad allergies Im dealing with when I enter this place. More regulation needs to happen here.

During the time I lived close to this facility I found being a member to be fun and recreationally pleasing. The staff is pleasant and the multiple large viewing screens as well as the vibro-chairs and beds and 30 minute workout area make the workout experience a breeze.

I was not too thrilled about this gym. The color scheme was unpleasant, theres candy for members as soon as you get your membership scanned, equipment is a little outdated, and theres a bell that goes off if someone drops their weights and that someone is asked to leave.
