This place is only open by appointment. Called to ask about stock and the guy told me he had what I needed so I drove all the way over and then I couldnt go in because I needed an appointment. Just on principle, I will now never go here and never purchase anything from this place.

If I lived in this area, I wouldnt consider going to any other bike shop. There is a common theme in the bike shop world where many shops arent very welcoming to the customer. Centre City Cycles couldnt be more welcoming and is among very few shops Ive been to where I was treated really great. Marc, the owner, is an outstanding guy and will go out of his way to accommodate you. He helped me out in a bind and his prices were very reasonable.I called several shops in the area that couldnt have been less professional. The other local shops were rude and their charges were outrageous.Seriously, go check them out for yourself and Im confident you will have a great experience!

Ordered a Kona Hardtail all the way to S. Florida from this shop, Marc made it happen, no damage and in 1 week. Id recommend this shop for good deals on MTBs. Email is responsive. This is a crazy time for bike shops nationwide, so be patient. I buy local if possible, but the model I wanted wasnt in stock anywhere... im glad I was able to support a small business like this one.

I live in CO and have been searching for the perfect bike for a couple years. Spent months researching the Kona Process 134, searched pinkbike, and luckily stumbled on Centre City Cycles. After much deliberation, decided to pull the trigger on a 27.5 DL for an awesome price. Less than a week later, I received a brand new in the box amazing bike. Marc was super responsive in answering any questions about the setup process, quickly replying to emails and always available on the phone. Buying online is scary. I now have a go to place to find amazing deals on awesome bikes. And I could not be happier about the bike I chose.

This place seems fake. Prices are low. When I looked up the address on Google Maps, it was a driving store. When I read reviews, the owner responded with way more attitude than any business person ever would.

Found them on line, drove in inquired about a bike I wanted. My size was still in the box. Built it for me on the spot. Worked out a great deal. Very happy. So happy I came back and got a second bike.

I am very confident I got the best price on the best bike I could have gotten - anywhere in the country. He was refreshingly direct about the cost, the additional charge for shipping, and the surcharge for the credit card; no nickel-and-diming, I got a straightforward price quote, the bike was fantastic and exactly as advertised, and he shipped it fast. Im riding my new Kona Sutra LTD and am totally satisfied. Have confidence if youre buying from Marc.

Emailed them per their voicemail. Got two emails back and then I asked them when they can schedule me for an appointment, no answer. I emailed again and yet no answer. They just re located not to long ago. Maybe location wasnt the issue, more like customer service.

The Guy there was totally cool with me. I broke my derailleur hanger and brought my bike into the store. Not only did he put it on for me for free and showed me how to do it. I bought another one just in case. I own a Kona and theyre one of the few stores in San Diego thata an Authorized Dealer. Great service!

If youre female, Id skip this place. When I asked about used bike shops in the area, I was responded to by an older guy (most likely the owner) like a 5 year old - an explanation of how a quality bike sells for at least half the price of a new one and how Id never be able to find what I need. Guess what Mr. Owner - I have bike toured 23 countries, commuted and been car-free for 12 years and have more knowledge and experience of bikes and used bikes in my pinky than you. DONT speak to me like Im an idiot just because Im female. And yes, there are several quality bikes on craigslist for the price or under what I was searching for and I bought one. WOMEN ARE EQUAL.

I had purchased a couple bikes off Craigslist and OfferUp and went in with my kids to purchase a few new parts for them. One was pretty well worn and I was expecting to replace the whole brake system, handle bar grips, and pedals. He looked it over, told me the pedals were fine, adjusted the brakes, fixed a frayed wire, lowered the seat, and removed the old grips and put on the new ones. I was shocked when he rang me up and told me the total was only the cost of the grips! I also mentioned that I was thinking about purchasing a new Haro for my daughter, and he answered all my questions without being pushy at all. HIghly recommend this place. So happy to have found a bike shop I can trust.

Ive never felt the need to post an online review before, but my experience here was so bad that I felt I needed to share. I arrived to a sign saying Back in 5 minutes. After waiting 30+ minutes, someone finally showed up to open the store (which is fine, I understand that business owners have to run errands sometimes).However, once in the store I asked for two tubes and clearly specified the size and valve type. After paying, I looked at the tubes and saw they were not the kind I had asked for. I mentioned this to the clerk, who tried to blame me for asking for the wrong type. Eventually, I offered to go back and find the right kind myself.Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
