Express Wood is your choice for existing floor refinishing, or new installation. They installed our new kitchen floor, and then refinished the original 1962 flooring in the rest of the house. The red oak flooring is seamless between old and new, and the entire house is now finished beautifully. And the Express Wood team is the most courteous and competent team youll ever hire.

Express wood restored the hardwood floors under the carpet in our bedroom. They did a great job and the wood matched nicely with the rest of wood floors in the house. There were some stains in the wood that weren’t noticeable after they finished it. Overall a great job and would use their services again.

All phone calls were returned in a timely manner and the crew began and completed the floor refinishing with the schedule they had anticipated in spite of the last minute changes I requested. The floors are beautiful! These guys really know their craft! It was a pleasure to work with such an efficient business.

If I could give this company and its crew more than five stars I would. The owner got back to me and gave me an estimate very quickly. He even worked with my fiancé and me after our friends convinced us we could do the floors ourselves and we realized it was a terrible mistake. I called Alex back and let him know we definitely were mistaken and needed the professionals. He was quick to get back to me and make an appointment for us. The crew arrived exactly on time and spent about 10 straight hours on our horrible floors and did such an amazing job! I could not believe the transformation. And the team who does the poly coats did such an incredible job as well! Everyone was so friendly, respectful, and so very nice. If you’re considering hiring Express Wood Flooring do not even hesitate! And unless you’ve refinished floors a ton of times before and know exactly what you’re doing, just leave it to the professionals. The Express wood guys did a great job refinishing these floors, and they were easy to work with. Very very great job! Made the ugly floors in my new house into brilliant new-looking ones. They were very forward about the billing (which was a good price). There were no surprise bills. Additionally, they actually read their emails, which is important because I dont like talking on the phone for personal things at work. Great job, highly recommended.

We hired Express Woods to install Hardwood floor in three bedrooms and one hallway. They arrived promptly at 8 AM on the start date they had given us. They finished in four days (the timeframe they had given us). We extremely pleased with the installing of the flooring. Also we were very pleased how they left the worksite. The floor looks beautiful.

I had this contractor (Express Wood) refinish the floors of the house I bought in the summer. While the flooring work itself is satisfactory, after it was finished I found sanding dust in the places such as ceiling fans, bathtubs, toilets to window sills. And I ended up spending several days cleaning up. Also, there is still a lingering strong smell from the floor coating after many days. I wish these issues could have been brought up early on and communicated better.

I would highly recommend Express Wood based on their attention to detail, turn around time, and reasonable rates. They exceeded our expectations by restoring a 110 year old staircase. Alex and his crew brought out the beauty of the existing wooden stairs and tied in the color and style of the new flooring seamlessly on the staircase. Other installers in the area suggested hiding them with carpet, because it was such a daunting task and the stairs were in really rough shape. I’m glad we didn’t cover them with carpet because we are so pleased with the results. The refinished staircase is now the centerpiece of our home! Thank you Express Wood!

I was very hesitant to get my floors refinished. They seemed like they were too damaged or in terrible condition, which in the end made us worry it would have been a poor investment. We were so close to just getting brand new wood floors, which would have been costly as most people would know. Then, a friend recommended Express Wood, so I gave them a call. We negotiated and talked for quite a while during or first meeting, because I was so nervous of how the final product would look. Finally, after talking with them and making the decision to trust them, we pulled the trigger and it ended up being the best possible decision we could have made. The price was more than reasonable, but more importantly, the floors look brand new! Everyone who has walked into our house always comments on how beautiful our floors look. They ask, did you just put in these new wood floors? I then explain they were refinished by Express Wood and the people cant believe how great of a job they can do. I will and have already recommended them to multiple people. There has not been one time where I have heard a customer being upset with their excellent work. They did so well with our living room, we just had them refinish two other rooms in our house! At least give them a call to see what they can do for you, if you are considering getting your floors redone. I am sure you will be impressed!

I hired these gentleman to refinish the floors in my rental property. The former tenants were beyond disgusting, and left the floors stained with pet urine and God knows what else. Alex and his crew did an amazing job restoring the floors throughout the entire house; I never imagined they could look as good as they do now. The floors are 80 year old red oak, and are now beautifully refinished to their natural state with all stains, scrapes and ground in filth removed. I am 100% satisfied with their work and their price. Great guys to work with, friendly and professional, I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Ben, Alex and crew just refinished the pine floors and oak stair treads in our 100+ year old farmhouse, and they look fantastic! Ben told me before they started that pine can be both tricky and inconsistent, and they had to also contend with the effects of some previous DIY floor work, but they did an excellent job.
