Mai Tran was great warm lady! Whenever I need my suits, pants or shirts to alter, she completed them with the excellent fashioning. Over 30 years experience with J.C. Penny men department and Shirley Ann Bridal manufacturing made her perfect seamstress for this Alteration shop in Erie, Pennsylvania. The works are excellent and the price are reasonable. I recommend her to all of my friends and everyone.

Im glad I didnt get alterations done here. I came in to have someone skilled in alterations take measurements for me for a custom dress I was ordering from a woman out of town. I called ahead and they said of course they could do that. The man told me no charge - the woman who took the measurements for me took $10. I would have been fine with paying if she got accurate measurements. She claimed she hadnt even heard of some of the measurements the seamstress making my dress was requesting. She was googling things on her phone and seeming to teach herself as well as asking me questions. I would have expected that someone skilled in alterations would have known the different measurements and taken them accurately. There were times I had to explain that the tape measure wasnt level all the way around etc and in the end when I ultimately got measurements elsewhere, hers ended up being off substantially.

I had a bridesmaid gown double-hemmed. The work was perfect, it was done when expected, and the fee was comparable to other places.
