Good prices, staff are nice, great little neighborhood barber shop. Good with kids. Up to date on current styles. Very welcoming of all races, genders and ages. Recommend an appointment if you have a particular barber you want, but you can get a walk in most days.

Clean, well kept barber shop. Local landmark basically right on 18th and Cherry in the heart of little Italy. I had Dan clean up and add a design into my side shave. Beyond happy. Will definitely be back. They have many talented barbers.

Great place to get your man stuff done. Just not down their! They are all experienced in there trait I have a fade done with a part. They do shaves,eyebrows,beards like I said they do it all. The prices are pretty reasonable I pay $25 fore mine. Walk-in or call for a appointment all are welcome. The only place I will go!

I saw online that they recommend making an appointment. I wanted a haircut in the same day so I called just after they opened and asked if they had any room to make an appointment today. They made one for me at 11 and I walked in, sat down, got a haircut, and walked out half an hour later feeling amazing! Very professional! Great service!

Been to Ruizs 5+ times and to be honest their haircuts are top notch. All the barbers there are talented, and leave you looking great. I will say theres a lack of customer service, and never honor an appointment unless youre personal friends with them. Spent 3 hours there in total time between waiting and the haircut every time. Only place in town where my cut is always as expected, I have a high standard and Ruiz always exceeds my expectations. Staff is friendly and everyone knows how to have fun while being professional. Very clean. Prices are more expensive than the chain shops, famous hair, supercuts, i.e, but not by much and they do 100x better than those other places and they really take their time so its a few bucks more well spent. I love it here and bring myself and children every month.

Fantastic shop, probably the best in Erie. Im from NJ so I needed to find a barber quick. Thankfully enough, Bruce was able to take me in and give me a perfect high skin fade. He takes his time and doesnt rush you out like other chain shops. You wont be upset. Great environment and you will feel right at home. Ive been going to Bruce at Ruiz for a while now. He has always invested a lot of time and attention to detail in every haircut. I feel like I have genuinely got the best haircuts in my life from this guy and always get plenty of compliments. Ill give him and Ruiz five stars any day great work.

The first time I went I was a walk-in. I actually got seated right away with no issues. I got a great cut. I was impressed, so I made an appointment to come back next time I needed a cut. That first experience is the only reason I’d give 3/5 and not something less.I showed up for my next appointment and the barber had forgotten I was even coming in. So he rushed through my cut, though it still turned out okay. Just not as good as the first time when he took his time with it.The last time I returned, the same barber was out for the day and hadn’t contacted me to tell me, so I spent a total of 2.5 hours waiting as other barbers appointments were taken care of, waiting for a walk-in time slot to open.All in all, they give decent cuts but even with an appointment you might still be wasting your time.

Best barber in the state!! Dennys is a true craftsmen. Hes professional and knowledgeable and TALENTED! WEe moved 2 years ago and still make time for haircut everytime we come home. Our son travels up from school in Pitt to have Dennys cut his hair. We love him. Hes family now! And Ill never get in his chair without an appointment so plan accordingly!!!

Their professionalism is sucks! I was there waiting for 3 hours without been attended to. They keep attending to new arrival customers claiming they had an appt. At least, they should have a better provisions for walk-in customers.

The owner is strick he maintains the shop clear of drama and illegal activities unlike some of the shops in the area. Making this place highly likable by families who bring in their youth. Everyone feels at home here. I recommend this pace to anyone I know.

Been coming to this shop since 7th grade. I am a sophomore in college now. I have never got a bad cut from here. Hands down the best barber shop in erie! The environment is friendly the barber actually work on you and dont get distracted. They always use sharp clean equipment. I have literally never had a bad experience here. Worth the wait for a walk in but appointments are highly recommended!

Cheaters! Charlie charged me $20 for a haircut and I gave him a $4 tip so I ended up paying $24. Later, I read the sign on the wall and it said $12-15 dollars for a haircut. I asked my fiends who go there how much they paid and most of them said $16 and they even got their BEARD done. I didnt get my beard done, just a fade. Very disappointed. Never going there again, unless they give me a discount and apologize.
