Machine was nice got the job done fast and I was back on the road.

I used this shop once and they went out of their way to get me back going and the charge was cheap and they were very courteous so I used them again bad mistake I blew a drum out on my trailer and needed an air bag, drum and brakes replaced I took it to their shop they started on it around 2 oclock maybe alittle after at 5:30 still working on it they figure my bill at $1997.00 Im waiting for them to finish Im told they got the wrong brakes have to wait till morning to get right ones I was charged 758.00 labor and 446.00 for an air 94.00 freight to drive across town for parts and 74.00 for an environment fee I didnt get out of their shop till around 10:15 the next morning if your not local or from the area do not use this shop I was told by 3 different mechanics that I showed this bill to that I was seriously over charged for the work done

I have needed Independent Diesel three or four times for work on my diesel motor home. They have been accommodating, and prompt. On one occasion, they told me they couldnt do what I needed. I appreciate that almost as much as the times they have done the work. Nothing more irritating than a shop that will try to do something it isnt equipped to do. They didnt do that.

I had an injector go bad on me but it was the first time Ive had this happen. I, took the head off and checked the top of the pistons to make sure they were good. went to Independent diesel to ask how much they would charge to put it back together and was quoted $1500.Great! they came and picked up my truck. A week later I went to see if they had started on it. Talked to the guy that quoted me the 1500 and all of the sudden it was going to cost $8,000. I asked them to bring it back to me and they wouldnt until I paid them $1,700 for taking the head off and sending it to a shop. I already had everything taken apart. $1,700?Im sure that would be fine for a big trucking company but Im medically retired with limited income and I even told them that.

Would not recommend at all. If I could give less than one star, I would. Jim is a dishonest price gouger. I used them one time to replace an air compressor gasket. I felt like he overcharged me for the services performed, even though they did manage to fix the problem, so the next couple of times I had something I needed done, I got estimates done at 2 other places first, then had Jim bid the work.The first was a brake job. I had oversized drums and brake shoes on my truck. He quoted me an outrageous amount of over $4000.00 due to the heavy duty brakes, saying the parts alone were over $2500.00. Freightliner not only bid the same job with the OS brakes and drums for $1800.00 total, parts AND labor, but they cross checked it with the cost of going to regular brake drums and shoes, which meant losing the core charge, but still ended up only being only $1400.00 total to do. Jim never even offered the second option to attempt to save me money.The next time I had him bid removing and replacing 2 rear bushings on my front leaf springs. Two other places bid it for $1,000.00 and $1100.00, respectively and diagnosed it for free. I took it to Jims Shawnee location and not only did he charge me $120.00 to open the hood and look at the back of the springs (never even moved it, lifted it up or crawled under it to look, yet felt it obligatory to charge me an hour for the 15 seconds and zero effort it took to diagnose the problem), but he bid the same $1100.00 job for $2500.00.. 2 and 1/2 times the amount of the other bids.My advice? Stay as far away from these guys as you possibly can!

9 am Called their roadside service to replace rear brake rotor and 8 wheel studs on 2016 Dodge Ram 2500. Staff on the phone been really ubderstandable and friendly. Representative said that their hourly rate is 135$/hours. Everybody busy... got appointment around 5pm.Tech called at 4:45 and been asking about condition. Called back around 5:15 and offered to tow us instead of fixing. Offer been refused, cause we have 42 ft trailer behind with 2 cars. Around 6 tech called and said that he is on his way to pick the parts and meet the driver. ( meanwhile I checked parts prices and availability at all dodge dealers in the area)Tech arrived at 7:30 and been working till 10:10zMade it fast and good.And here starts the most interesting: InvoiceService Call $884 (6hr and 30min paid) ( 2hr and 40min ) of actual time been used.Miles driven 140 - $280 ( might be for two sides, and part pick-up which is totally fine)Stud hub $7.42 x8 = 59.38Real wheel stud price $4.95 a pieceBrake rotor $239.71 - Actually retail price at dealer is 169 $Helped a lot with problem, Thank You.But that bill is something totally INSANE!Invoice or bill to the driver - nope, will fax in the morning.So instead of 700 -900$ they billed us for $1490.31Will not recccomend, unless you ready to pay double

This place is a joke. The owner is a racist biker, and yes he is always yelling inside that place, us costumers can hear him from the parking lot. They are always over charging people and not sure how they still have business. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. If you’re not white, and you’re black like me you’re most likely going to be ignored and disrespected.

Went there for 0930 appointment. A little after 10, the pulled the truck in. About 1245 the guy said it was finished and the bill would be prepared when the girls came back from lunch in about 10-15 minutes. When they got back, they visited with someone for almost 45 min. I finally got my bill and paid it at 10 till 2. They billed me for the extra hour that I waited to get my bill. The truck was finished in LESS than 3 hrs.Although they seem friendly enough,I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone.Very unscrupulous business practice.What a rip-off.

Ripoff! Avoid these legal highway robbers, at all costs. One star is the least rating I can give them, but they should be rated less.Ran out of fuel half a mile from the pilot truck stop and about a mile from this companys shop. The redneck in the green truck brought what he said was 20 gallons of fuel, primed the line, and was gone in 10 minutes from the time of arrival. Took about 8 minutes to pump the fuel.The verdict: $333.00 for 1 mile drive time & fuel. Very expensive lesson.Avoid these ripoff artists at all costs!!!##Hope its true what they say about Karma! Hope they all get their just rewards.

Worst service I have ever experienced on the road. Charged me double what a water pump would cost if I would have bought it from a dealer. Charged more than twice the normal labor than any Labor guide calls for. Charged me $169.00 for a fitting. Charged $468.00 for the service call guy to bring me water. This so called shop is a rip off. Shops like this one, give are small shops a bad name.

Please dont go: went in for a waterpump, not a problem, 25.5 hrs,1416.79 dollars n a aftermarket waterpump I was out of there. pulled my oil cooler lol to pull the waterpump of course all orings leaked, had to go get new ones lol one oring or gasket at a time (damm the luck) hope this is enough because I will call a tow truck before I ever go back

Beware of these guys. If you demand a bit of service from them they will avoid your calls all day. The will give you an estimate yes they will not quote Their estimate means nothing to them, i was estimated 10 hours on a (cummins book) 10 hour job, they took 21 hours to do it!!!! The estimate was $2000-$2100 on the high side, final invoice was very close to $2800 after then knocked 4 hours off. They might be the cheapest labour rate, but they will charge you twice the hours. Service manager states, thats pretty good really(not his money), Owner was no better, didnt even want to discuss the matter, didnt care one bit. Truck got finished at 5pm on the fourth day it was there, they said come and get it, no taxi service in enid, they would not pick the driver up, they all just went home, had to wait another day to collect the truck.................these people are not in touch with there customers needs.......AVOID AVOID AVOID you have other options in Enid!

If you want good service go to Independent Diesel.

They take their time fixing whatever you take them and you pick it up two or three days later than they tell you. I also asked them to leave my truck sitting outside the gate and LOCK the doors. They left it outside the gate RUNNING for 4 hours, DOORS UNLOCKED, Air conditioning OFF. A prime target for someone to steal. I will NOT be going back there!!!!

Total scam. Avoid this place as a plague.

Rip off artists. They charge $2 mile and $136 hour labor. Overcharged my credit card by $10 when he got done. Legal highway robbery.
