We were picked up at 12.30am from the airport by car 247. License plate #AQB 454Upon pulling up the driver started sourcing other people to join our ride, without asking us if it was ok. We told him we were not comfortable with this given covid, the size of the car and honestly just didn’t appreciate that we weren’t given a choice. Didn’t matter to him because he wanted the extra $$$.In addition to that, he did not wear a mask the entire ride. And he closed the windows and put the AC on so not only were we in the car with a stranger because of him but he was not considerate of how others might want to ride. When we told him we did not feel comfortable and wanted the windows open, his response was “it’s Colorado and nobody here wears a mask.”We are also sure that he ripped us off as an Uber was only $80 but he charged us $120 to go from the airport to Le Meridien on California street in downtown Denver. The stranger who rode with us was a local and he said we were getting ripped off but because it was already past midnight and we had waited in line, we just relented.Super disappointing all around — definitely get an Uber or a Lyft as it’s much cheaper and you’re allowed to decide how you’d like to ride during Covid times.

Called for a taxi around 7 p.m. and didnt get a call from a driver until 9:55 p.m... I ended up walking home 4.5 miles with 5 bags of groceries quicker then a driver could get back to me. Wont ever waste my time again.

Warning! Warning! Warning!Scammers!! Scammers!!On Jul 5, 2021. I took the taxi from the Denver Airport, you know.. those taxis that come inside and wait at the airport in line.Once inside, the meter is already at set $4.00 and a $5.00 fee was added to it because they waited at the airport on the taxis port.My driver spoke enough English to comprehend my conversation. He gave me his phone using google search to input my destination address. He did not use google maps, but just google search.My destination is 13 minutes away from the airport.(almost 4 miles away) and off we go. He passed the first exit, he passed the second exit and continued driving, I asked if everything on the inside camera was been recorded? He said yes! I said great, I’m glad your scam is been recoded since I had already told you to that you have passed 2 exits. I confronted him on the route he was taking. He mentioned that he was going to take the 470 toll way, I said, my destination doesn’t require that. About 20 minutes into the driving, I mentioned that I was going to call the cops. He immediately got angry and said that it was his car and he chooses the road. I mentioned the cops will choose the charges for him, it was a stand-off inside. I asked for his taxi number and company number to report it, He said, I will take you back to the airport. It’s was quiet.. when getting back at the airport, it was about a $65.35 meter charge and the $5 fee. He said, we are here, hold on because I have to talk my supervisor first. I opened the door, and he yelled at me, saying to hold on inside the parked taxi. Anyhow, I got off and the female supervisor said that I had to paid partial for the gas. I told her and him that we are not living in their country, where they might actually get away with scams. The waiting passengers asked what happened and I told them the taxi driver was trying to scam me and the stand-off we had inside the car.Walked to Zone 5 for Uber and Lyft and book my ride. About 45 minutes wasted on a trip with that taxi, which took 12 minutes with Uber.So, beware about the Taxi drivers, whom still believe they might in their home country and think that they can do as they please. This is the distrust they have built.

I’m writing this from the parking lot of a Ramada hotel. Driver picked up me at the airport and then strangers got in the taxi with me, made a cash deal with them and then got the Ramada and got out to talk. I called an Uber after 15 minutes. Do not use this company. There’s a reason why Uber and Lyft are better.

Very courteous service ! Chris is an excellent dispatcher; I called Green taxi on behalf of a guest at a motel I manage in Denver due to our regular cab service being rude and inconsiderate of our guests’ needs (mobility, elderly etc). Chris was very tentative and professional not to mention he was sure to inform us that as it was a Sunday, we would have a delay which our guest was more than happy to wait for. Our guest said he “will take his money where it’s appreciated”, and we are thoroughly convinced it most definitely is very much appreciated. Thank you Chris and thank you Green taxi for the outstanding service! You’ve earned our service and we are switching from M...o Taxi to Green taxi!

This cab company hires some shady drivers and I have never been so afraid ridding in a car in my life. Our driver was horrible and got lost trying to avoid 470 and what is normally a 25$ ride to the airport he tried to charge us 68$. I have called several times to right a complaint and or seek a refund and every time I get the same answer that a manager will call me back and no one does. This guy should be fired for his unsafe driving! Please do not get in this guys cab and please just give this cab company 1 star for that horrible lack of customer service

Edit: Today was the third time in a month that Ive booked transportation with green taxi and no taxi arrived. I sometimes wait 6-8 weeks for medical appts and have to cancel with basically no notice. In addition, I was picked up for a return trip 1 hour and 20 minutes late. The pick up car was a private vehicle that was wrecked and had a badly cracked windshield. Never, never again.I use green taxi for transportation to and from medical appts, paid in full by medicaid. I usually book transportation weeks in advance. Today I had an appt at 1240pm. I received a call at 1040am confirming that I needed the ride. I received notification through the ecolane app at 1150am that my ride was on the way. No one ever showed up. I had to reschedule my appt for 6 weeks from now. I received a call from a driver at 124pm that the driver would be late. Understatement of the year. I wont be using green taxi for my medical transportation.

723 notice number car vehicle was one of the worst cab driver known to man. He cussed while driving almost crashed the car 3 times took the wrong turns on purpose to up charge us saying the gps is telling me like i know where i live. The meter was running when he pulled up and tried to disclaim us on the rate of 50 dollars to the airport man is very dishonest man and not credible and raised his voice at us when we asked why the rate was high. I was driving on 270 toward the 70 ramp on March 1st at 6:10pm when cab #659 cut from my right and brake checked me hard twice slowing us down to 40 mph. I had my two children in my vehicle! The cab driver cut me off like that for no apparent reason. The only thing I could think of is that I have Lyft stickers in my windows. Regardless, the driver put me and my family in danger of being rear ended! This is the second cab driver in two weeks to drive like they own the road! I called ther other company and they actually answered. This company NEVER PICKED UP THE CALL! These ridiculously dangerous cab drivers need to be taken off the road! I hope people seeing how bad they are stop calling this company and PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS!

Okay I will personally tell u as a taxi driver myself I dont work for green taxi but all companies follow one rule for sure we a independent contractors realize that we are not coming from a base main building to come get u. When u call for a taxi it is put on the board it is up to the drivers to pick up your call and when your call does get picked up its 10-15 min wait if we are close but realize we take these cabs home so we are not just sitting there waiting for a call at a main building and then told to go get u get have to make it to you also realize that now I cant speak to Green taxi and the running off the meter and over charging but u cabbies know better if thats what the hell you are doing a you dont just make your company look bad u make all taxi company look bad lets get it together drivers coming from a fellow driver

Drivers are very nice, overall decently priced. Not the most reliable if you want prompt service. Called night before to request a specific pickup time the next morning to make an early airport delivery, they did not show up. Upon calling dispatch, they had to call out for an available cab. If you dont mind waiting around and not in a hurry, green cab will work in a pinch.

I called a day ahead to arrange a taxi pickup to the airport, and confirmed all details over the phone (address, time, date - the next day). The next morning the taxi was a no-call, no-show, and when I called the cooperative, there was no one there to answer my call. I had to really scramble to get to the airport on time.

Should be zero stars. Absolute garbage people. A microcosm of things we as a society should just get rid of. These are a few thoughts that cross my mind when thinking of Green Taxi Coop. A man, that is definitely being liberal with the term man , looked at my girlfriend, and wouldnt pick her up because she was a woman. Watched him look her up and down, laugh, and drive away. All the while, shes barely keeping the brown grocery bags in her hands from busting and toppling to the ground, spilling everything. This guy apparently found humor in her distress. Super nice guy. Sadly, I didnt catch the exact plate number or anything..but this did happen near the Sprouts on Havana , if anyone cares...

Just do yourself a favor, avoid and call a different company. Scam company. Cabs dont have meters and the drivers make up prices and will try to gouge you (asked for $25 for a 4 mile trip, was supposed to be $13). Pretty sure this company is breaking numerous laws and regulations in Colorado. You will have a terrible experience if you make the mistake of using this sorry excuse for a taxi company. Guaranteed.

My wife and three kids under the age of five got stranded up by Indian Hills, CO. Green Taxi Cooperative was the only company willing to go pick them up and bring them back to Centennial and even waited with them for the tow truck to arrive. They were professional and friendly. They even moved the car seats for my wife and gave the kids treats while they waited. I cannot say enough about the service we received. SO extremely grateful that they were willing to help us out in a very difficult situation. Made a very bad day a little bit better. Would definitely use them again.

Cab driver kept my phone and held it for ransom then when finally the office contacted him to return it (am from out of state so I sent a postage with details describing my phone, a droid, Motorola, which I know they had because I locked it with a number to call on the screen) somehow they sent me a stolen iPhone 6s which I will be returning to AT&T (I have Verizon).Cab driver also dropped me off at the wrong address and made me miss my flight after lying about fare and over charging me.

Last month I was in a taxi driven by driver 317 at Denver Airport. I realized after I got in her taxi, I couldnt find my phone. I thought I had lost it at the previous airport I was at. Two weeks later, I recieved a call (on my landline) from the driver informing me my phone was found in her taxi. She said she would turn the phone to the taxi office and gave me information to contact the manager on instructions on how to get it back.After, a week of playing phone tag with the office, I was contacted by the taxi office and was told I needed to send a self addressed/pre-paid mailing package envelope for the return of my phone (as I live in Oregon). I did this and confirmed via a post office tracking number it was recieved in the taxi office over 3 weeks ago. I again called the office and they denied receiving it.Since, I had already made contact twice with driver 317 (I had her number on my caller ID), I called her again to ask why my phone hadnt been mailed to me yet. She had no explanation, but said she would check on it for me and call me back. The next day she returned my call, stating she personally went to the taxi office and retrieved both my phone and the mailing package I sent and mailed it herself. She assured me I would receive it in a few days. Once, I receive it I will send her a reward and contact her again to get her personal address, assuring she receives her award.

We left a bag in the cab we took from the airport and have spent the last two days trying to get ahold of it. Nothing. Every phone call a dead end. Of course, I’m sure the cab driver is enjoying “his” new laptop, but I can’t imagine how he is enjoying the half finished cross stitch I have been making for my son for the last 6 months. Very disappointed to say the least and would not use this company again. They clearly have no concern for people.

We decided to use a taxi instead of Uber or Lyft. Boy do I regret it. Our ride literally cost 2X what it would have with another service. Their drivers should be embarrassed to be a part of such a scammy company. Will NEVER even consider using them again. What a rip off!

Looks like we are not the only ones with a terrible experience. The driver missed our exit then STOPPED on the highway. She had already completely missed it so the only option would have been to reverse on the highway- no thanks. I told her to just take the next exit (which probably took us at least 15 minutes extra). It cost us just over $84 from DIA to Brighton. When we left, the Lyft cost $32 (with tolls included on both trips). The driver also started driving while my door was open and my foot was still on the ground. These guys are a total rip off, and a death trap!

I was charged twice by my driver first he ran my card and than said he had to cancel it and could only except cash I was out of options so I got cash out gave it to him and he assured me the payment had been cancelled to my card well its been a week and still no release of my money 287 bucks from Denver to springs Im disgusted !!!! So glad I did.By accident, lol..I met the owner Mr. Ahmed last week, very professional. Cab 179 charged me $80 from DIA to Broomfield (never paid more than $65). Driver missed my exit (after I had programmed my address into his gps). When I pointed it out, he demanded to know why I didn’t tell him sooner, told me it was my fault because he was following the gps I entered (he wasn’t, the gps rerouted to do a uturn to return to the missed exit), and spent the next 10 minutes berating me for being rude and disrespectful. I said no words other than those related to the missed turn and the need to turn around, and sat in silence as he repeatedly maligned my character. 30 minutes after he dropped me off the police showed up at my door responding to a call from the cab driver alleging I had threatened him!!!!! Hands down, my worst experience ever in a cab. I reported it to the company and was told the driver has a history of “triggers.” The next day in response to my negative rating of him he sent me an email claiming I was racist (I don’t even know his ethnicity, nor do I care), that I was drunk (I was not, I had just finished a business meeting), and that I had low self esteem (his ability to judge my level of self esteem is a mystery). I am genuinely afraid that this person has a record of my address in his phone and will never again agree to put my address into a drivers gps based on this experience. I did get a polite follow up call from the company manager the next day. Although he could not change the experience, I appreciate the follow up.

Hello!!!I called metro taxi for a ride and they never showed up and I called another cab company and they did the same thing, NO SHOW. After 1 1/2 hours later I called Green Taxi for a ride from Denver health hospital to my house and the driver showed up within 15 minutes after I called. After I told the driver what happened with other companies not showing up, the driver was Very polite and apologetic. I was very sick 😷 and the driver took time and helped to my door steps with my bag. I have been using green taxi and they always there. Thank you.. Go Green Taxi.

The worst cab company I have ever used. They lied to me and charged me $88 for a ride from the airport which has never cost more than $45. 13 miles/35 minutes. Shameful. Also, when I voiced my concern over the price the driver gave me the card to a different cab company for my review and concerns. Literally the company should be fined for price gouging and never used again.

Ludicrous. I had no idea there was a flat rate out of DIA PLUS a fee on top of that. $82 from DIA to Capitol Hill? The driver was friendly, his car was clean, his driving was adequate, but $82? Pretty sure my company will not reimburse me for this ride. Never again will I take a cab from DIA. I am quite sure this was not the price I saw posted inside the window. A cab ride from JFK to lower Manhattan was only $57, and everything is twice as expensive in New York City. As I said, ludicrous.

Horrible company. The driver forced me into the back of his van when I wouldnt really fit on my motorized wheelchair then forced the back door shut wedging me in. During this process he broke my glasses and they will not replace them. Based on the fact that I cant see without them, this is just cruel and completely disrespectful. This company drives for Vejo and I would highly recommend that you put them on your list not to transport you. For this to be a company that services the medical community they need to take more responsibility for their passengers. Horrible company!! I DO NOT recommend them at all! I will follow up with a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and a lawsuit to get my glasses replaced.

Hopped a cab from DIA to downtown Denver and was shocked that you charge $57. I did go ahead and take the ride but regretted it after. That is just way too much and I will never take a cab in Denver again. I don’t mind paying a bit more than Uber but this amount is ridiculous.

Watch out for Green Taxi around the train station . Taxi number 212 way over charged us for a a short drive. Beware of the question are you going home that way they know your are not from the area and over charge. Got an uber for the same ride back and it was 1/3 of the fare

Horrible drivers! Do not use this company. Just had a driver exit a parking lot and pull over into the middle lane of 40 MPH traffic. I was forced to slam my brakes to avoid rear ending them. This was cab #643. Beware!

Scariest ride ever in cab 384. It’s snowing outside and his windshield wipers are barely working and no windshield wiper fluid. You can’t see out the front window at all. Asked him to stop and buy fluid. He says no because it’s just frozen. Extremely unsafe. Will never take green taxi again. They don’t care about safety.

GREEN TAXI driver using cab #585 is ripping people off! He runs with his meter off, charges whatever he chooses and uses his own credit card system not associated with the co-op. The ride was 1.8 miles, the fare was $20 and he wanted to be paid in cash. When I called the company to report the driver the rep admited to knowing that #585 is a rouge driver but is not willing to do anything to refund the money. Several calls have been made and when I ask to speak with a supervisor that person is always on another call and hasnt yet returned my call. If the company is aware that this driver is ripping customers off it should make YOU wonder how many of their other drivers are also doing the same thing. The company certainly doesnt value its customers and seems to condone the dishonesty of its drivers. They got 1 star from me because this would not post with 0 stars - but 0 is what they deserve!

Haile immediately made a special trip on his day off to return my bag.Mistakes happen every day in every business; the mark of a good company is how they respond to and remedy those errors. Was told 10 to 15 min wait for taxi. Waited over an hour. Driver finally called from another location. Said he was 5 mims away but never showed up. Called dispatch. The d3mt out another cab.and told me cab would arrive in 10 to 15 mins. Again DoD not shoe up. When I called dispatch a 3rd time I was told last driver declined the call. Green must mean profoundly inesxperienced! I cancelled the call after over 2 hrs.

If I could give Green Taxi Coop zero stars, that would be a more accurate rating. On the evening of Friday, May 19, I arrived at the Denver International Airport. I needed a ride, so instead of taking Uber or Lyft, as I should have, I went to the taxi stand, and got into a Green Taxi Cooperative taxi. The trip pick up was at 10:00pm from DEN to my home address. The man who picked me up seemed like he was very new on the job. He had several digital devices in his car, a couple of cell phones and an ipad. As he flew down Pena at 70+ miles per hour, he fiddled with his devices and--while the car was moving--tried to enter my destination address. I explained to him that I could direct him to where I was going, but he continued insisting on putting in the address, giving up on his phone and finally getting it into the ipad. (I’m not sure if he spoke English.) When we finally arrived at my home at 10:30pm-ish, I gave him a credit card to run. Again, he couldnt seem to figure out his devices, and finally we seemed to be able to get the card to run. When I got my credit card statement a couple weeks later, I was charged twice for the ride, for $91.42 and for $99.03, when i could have taken a lyft or uber for $40. I called my Chase Ink Card, who has the charge on hold, but wants me to resolve it with the merchant for some reason (that I also don’t understand). I have called Green Taxi management numerous times, and spoken to people there about the issue. I have emailed them several times as well, and no one is resolving this matter. It is extremely frustrating and upsetting. Lesson of the story: taxis are so 2000 and late. Never take a Green Taxi Coop taxi (I hear theyre not even really Green either, just another example of #greenwashing. Take an uber or a lyft.

First of all, Green Taxi is not a green company. With a name like that you would expect a gas-electric hybrid car at least; they should be running electric vehicles powered on solar power. Nope, I was picked up in a gas guzzler (e.g., 2000-era Caprice or something similar). Anyway... Now to the real reason for one star:I missed the last train from DIA on Sunday, so I was stuck taking a taxi. Shouldnt be too much to get from DIA to the Central Park Park-n-Ride, right? Wrong... Fifteen minutes in the car, I arrive at my destination- I had been watching the cost of the ride escalate I nearly said something. Whats the driver going to say? He doesnt set the rates. So, we stop and of course the taxi driver adds the $4.59 (to add insult to injury) for the DIA fee. To get from DIA to the Central Park Park-n-Ride, I had to pay $50. FIFTY DOLLARS. What a scam. This price is completely inappropriate considering I have, in the past, paid $80 for a ride from DIA to Boulder using a different taxi company. Never again will I be using Green Taxi. Id rather die in a ditch than pay another dime to these scumsuckers.

NEVER EVER USE GREEN TAXI. Absolutely Horrific. I took the LightRail from DIA to Union Station for $9.00. Was going to use Uber, but was tired from traveling so I grabbed a Green Taxi. Noticed when I got in there was no meter. Had to give my driver instructions as the where 8th and Washington was; about a mile away. When I got out I asked, how much do I own you? He said $21. WHAT!!! Then he said, Give me whatever you want. I said, What do I owe you? He said, $21. Complete idiot, complete ripoff. NEVER EVER USE GREEN TAXI!!! Yellow cab was $10, Uber was $6.85,

This driver just decided to make his own turning lane and cut everyone off for no reason at all . Called to complain and the dispatch said he’ll give home a call and tell him to drive safer . That’s not ok . That driver is putting other drivers and his passengers at risk and green taxi is allowing it . Despicable .

I wasnt even a passenger. Their driver thought it was ok to block me in by double parking in front of me. I asked him to move so that i could leave, and he proceeded to curse me out, with his passenger in the car. I called to complain about this, and they have yet to return any of the 5 calls I have made to them, after a Month. Their receptionists are instructed to push your call away, with hopes of you not calling back. This is a disgrace of a company.

I told the driver take Peoria or Havana exit I70 from airport. He missed Peoria and took us into a traffic jam where he cant exit Havana. Long story short he ran up the bill and made a 40 minute trip into an hour fifteen, with 3 kids at midnight.
