BEWARE! They use Golf Now for advertising purposes but they act rudely towards people that use this service for discounted T times. In fact they closed the course on us. They asked us So you guys are the Golf Now people... then told us to wait right there that were probably closing the course. Not only did they prevent us from playing for BS reasons they refused to issue a rain check. They said we had to deal with Golf Now to get our money back for the booked and paid for T time. The young man in the Pro shop was nice enough but the two old guys in maintenance were very rude and condescending as they were the ones that closed the course, and denied us our T time or being able to play their course at all. Doing this with a smirk on their faces and a condescending tone repeatedly calling us the Golf Now people. We went to another local course, that had experienced the same small rain storm, it was only miles away and were able to play no problem. Boca Royale is not for true golfers. It is staffed with at least a few very rude people that talk down to golfers that are not members at Their Country Club and use a discount to play there which really ruins the golf experience. The kicker is- The course, and surrounding neighborhood is under construction right now and it is not a fair price to play there anyway unless it is severely discounted- as on Golf Now. I will never go back and will actively tell every golfer I know to not waste their time going there. Just for reference purposes I play a minimum of 2 times a week and I have never been treated so rudely golfing in this area.

Course was ok, layout was decent. Needs a little TLC, but not in bad shape overall. I cant say enough about the friendly staff! They were the nicest people Ive encountered at a golf course.

If you want to be treated rudely with complete disrespect, this is the place to be. As I pull in, I see no one around so I take my bag to the bag drop. No problem. The cart guy pulls up to my car and starts by saying, Let me tell you how things work around here. He proceeds with an attitude going on about how I need to wait for him.I brush it aside assuming it will be better at the tee box from the starter.This guy is just as bad. Gives a rude comment about me booking through golf now. OH YOURE GOLF NOW? YEAH WHATEVER JUST GO NOW, WE DONT LIKE THOSE TEE TIMES.The 2 guys I was playing with got there before me and received the same or worse treatment as well.Will never return.

Booked online through Golf Now with my dad. We had played there before, and were expecting a similar experience to the last time but did not receive that. There was no one around at the bag drop to help with getting a cart and getting it loaded, we were told in the pro shop that only the front 9 were open despite saying that the whole course was open online. The staff seemed to make it a point that we were the golf now guys as if that was something to look down on. Once we rolled out to get ready for hole 1 the starter told us to stop, because they were closing the course because there was standing water all over the course from the storm in the morning. They wouldnt offer a rain check for the round either. In a very condescending tone, the starter told us that maybe golf now could give us a refund but they cant do anything. We ended up going a another course just a few miles away that had experienced the same storm and got in a full 18 with no problems what so ever.

The possibilities are endless in this botanical wildlife sanctuary. Play golf, tennis, pickle ball or any of the luxuries that await you here. Dining at the club is exquisite and the service is golden. You have arrived, welcome!

We have lived and golfed at Boca Royale for over a year now and really cannot say enough good about the community, the folks who live here, and the easy-going lifestyle. We thought our neighbors in Virginia were friendly until we moved here. Never have we felt so welcomed and appreciated! This is a great place to retire and live, either full time or as a snowbird.

It was an awesome course. The lady that greeted me to get my clubs and came and got my cart went above and beyond. Loved it. I’ll be back often.

The Boys had a round of 18 today. The course is beautifully maintained and offers a level of challenge that makes it very enjoyable. Of course, it wouldnt be the same without the resident gators.

FOOD AMAZING - SERVICE NON-EXISTANT!!!I had not been here in years and thought my friend Kathy would enjoy dining in this Country Club atmosphere.Yes, the atmosphere was there, but only 3 tables were occupied, and even at that, we had to wait forever to get some service.Michael was so inattentive, it was pitiful. I ordered coffee to start and after more than 10 minutes got up to find out where my coffee was, he was just on the computer and apologized, but did bring my coffee out right then. The food took forever (again) to be served, but it was so amazing that I will not complain about the wait.Kathy ordered some kind of WRAP, which came with a FRUIT SALAD as her side and she was pleased with it all.I wanted the BACON/BRIE GRILLED CHEESE, with FRENCH FRIES as my side and Im telling you I was in Brie heaven.....it was simply amazing!So I highly recommend this place for the food, but the service......nah...it was not there at all!!!

I am 100% in agreement about the unprofessionalism of this place. Our business tried booking a three day company event with event coordinator PHYLLIS in their banquet room. Before we could explain the details of the event she flat out said that we are not worth her time. We have been doing these company events for over 10 years and have never come across someone as rude and unprofessional. The following country club we reached out to in the area was happy to accommodate us. I can only imagine the issues we would have run into with this specific location if we did hold our events there.

Service station at tiki bar if you could call it that, barely opened by 2:30 on a Sunday after sending service flyer out to residents to open at 2pm. Servers were unknowlegable on food and beverage and they couldn’t even offer ranch dressing instead of ceaser as if the kitchen didn’t have that. Don’t recommend, pack your own cooler ice and all.

Lunch was really good the view is so pretty. Cant wait to go again. There was 24 of us, 3 tables of 8. The 3rd table had to wait quite awhile for there food. Otherwise i would give it 5 stars.

Went here for lunch, and was thrilled with the experience overall! First, the dining area was beautifully appointed, and with walls primarily of glass it afforded stunning views! Service was attentive and personable. The food was delectable, and the chef even came out to our table to talk to us. I was surprised to discover that non-members are welcome for lunch and dinner. Ill certainly return!

Last week employees of local golf course wanted to play at Boca, but they couldnt accommodate at that time. Boca calls the last minute, so they could at 1pm. These employees from another golf course said thank you but we have tee time that they made last week. Employees represent the.owner and thats not saying much. He reached out to me, but he never got back to me. On Thursday,5/28/20, I played this course very few times. The staff is rude and there to greedy for money. I became sick before reaching the 7th hole. Asked for a rain ck for 9. It was like pulling teeth out because I went through GolfNow. The owner sent me a message saying hell take to Scott and find out what happened. The owner never got back to me.

Classic “Old Florida” course, strong character. Tidy and well maintained, no driving range but nice practice area (including tee box for full warm up).

The restaurant is open to the public. I have never had a bad meal. Everything is fabulous!

Delicious lunch, beautiful views

We had the Sunday Brunch and it was awesome! The food was great. Our waitress was super friendly and very helpful. Everyone just made our experience so delightful. The dining room had wrap around windows. There was no bad seats. I highly recommend the Boca Royal to everyone.

Our neighborhood had an issue with their construction traffic and Marcel the Construction Manager handled it personally. BRGCC are being great neighbors! Thank you Marcel!

Love the new menu. Today I had the Greek Salad and added Grilled Chicken, wow it was great. The dressing was perfect, the greens were beautiful and the heirloom tomatoes were excellent. The chicken was tender and moist but also very juicy. Compliments to the kitchen

Great golf course. IMO, the true challenge of this course is with the speed and the suddle movements of the greens.

Play in a Monday morning league. Course is well run and can be challenging. Greens are quick with subtle breaks. Tee blocks and some fairways need remediation but generally good.

This is truly a hidden gem! Always open to the public for dining, golf and tennis. My wife and I had the opportunity to experience the Sunday Brunch which was simply amazing and had great entertainment from a well known piano player. The service was spot on and very friendly. After Brunch I had the opportunity to play the course with some friends and really enjoyed the beautifully kept fairways and greens, dont let the length of the course trick you, this is a fun and exciting challenge of a golf course. We had the experience of seeing everything from turtle, gators, sand hill crane, bald eagle, and much more. A true golf experience

Course was wet due to rain storm Saturday afternoon, but was playable, greens were nice, cart attendants were horrible all they did was complain, and they are about 1 hour behind due to all the “confusion on what to do” for a lack of better words

Golf review. Its a bit tight was in very good shape. Yardages arent marked out other than the 150. Tight and challenging. Greens especially in the front are small. Opens up a little on the last few back holes.

Well when you go to a community like this you want to know a few things in my opinion ...are the homes well built ? answer yes extremely , how are the amenities ? answer off the charts ....is the community well run ? yes, extremely well run ,are the homeowners satisfied with their choice ? Ive had the pleasure of working at Boca Royale for many years.The events are always well staffed, the food on time , and the manager on duty is present. Today my son and I golf at Boca Royale. I read some reviews on this place some were good some were bad. I believe in giving a place my thoughts just wanted to know what to expect. I found first of all bag drop off guy was kind of Moody. Pro Shop guy was pretty awesome. The starter was a complete idiot. Who talks loudly and unprofessional when a person is teeing off, the starter did. The two guys we golfed with today were pretty nice but they were upset too at the starter. It just seems like there was more rudeness at this place than anything with the exception of the lady selling us drinks in the golf cart she was awesome. The course itself was in fair to good condition. I wouldnt mind golfing here again but I dont know if I will because of the rudeness.

I was here with over 100 Venice Florida Corvettes club members for our annual welcome snowbirds brunch. As always the food, coffee and drinks were excellent.

Nice place for a group lunch or presentation but the food was dismal. Group of about 40 was served chicken breast rice pilaf and over done veggies. Chicken was dry and everything was pretty bland. Not a highlight.

We were there for a wedding, beautiful place. Well organized. Just felt cheated that they in no word mentioned that the wedding wasnt open bar all night, not even a last call. Then they only sold one brand/style, their house wine Chardonay by the bottle but want to charge $7 for a glass.
