Filing bankruptcy through Eric Atzbach was the best decision Ive made in 10 years! Hes professional, courteous, and quick. My garnishment was stopped in 2 days and court went seamlessly 4 weeks later. Everything was explained to me thoroughly and in terms anyone can understand. Update 4/30/2015Well it took that little tidbit below to actually get this guy to call. When he found out I was firing him he got hostile and basically hung up. The next day when I called he got on the phone, hostile, and let me know that he wouldnt be giving back any of our unused retainer. The only thing this guy has done was meet with us once and hand us a packet of papers to fill out. When I did ask them to help and e-mail me a second copy of the papers as ours were covered in corrections (this is why we hired an attorney because if we knew how to do this ourselves we would have) his secretary Christine replied that she didnt have time for that. Come to find out this fly by night place doesnt have an e-mail address...what reputable business doesnt have an e-mail address these days? Or an answering machine? Places that try to rip you off and avoid contact with their clients is who. Since hiring them they have moved locations multiple times (also a sign of a scam). I asked him to provide me with a detailed billing statement specific to my account and they refused. When I went in personally to get it (I let them know a day in advance Id be coming by) they again refused to provide me with anything and Mr. Atzbach hid in his office and refused to come out. He had his hands out to take our money but tucked tail and ran when he is asked to show how he spent it. He tried to bully us into filing by saying we could use our retainer to file our case if we still wanted to but if we didnt file it was already all spent. This guy is the ambulance chaser of bankruptcies and I honestly was going to compare him to Dealin Doug (you locals know who he is) but honestly, I worked for Doug and that guy has more integrity than this Erik Atzbach. I wont get my retainer back but dont waste and lose your money like I did with this bottom feeder.Is this a serious review? Yes. Ive filed complaints with the BBB and the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel. Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) requires and hard copy complaint and we are headed to mail it as we speak.4/27/2015Your phone number has changed or you cant afford voicemail...We havent been represented yet, You have our money.
