Great customer service, extremely knowledgeable staff. My whole experience only took about 60 seconds. I had no idea what I needed at all but the gentleman had my back and examined a photo of the part I needed and like magic he placed the replacement on the counter. I then cheerfully rang up, fair market price and days faster than ordering online.P.S my AC is back up and running, thank the heavens!

Im a hard sell when it comes to leaving reviews and surveys. You either have to be really good or really bad. This place takes the former in every way! After multiple phone calls and help in the store I was able to find all of the issues with my dryer and get it fixed.

Looked all over town for a certain washing machine part and had no luck. I called Rick at Bear Valley and he went out of his way to research the part I was looking for. He was able to find a cross matching part in another brand for about $50 less, and he had it in stock. I drove 45 minutes across town to pick it up. Rick is professional and very polite!! Rich and Sandy are AWESOME - A freezer I bought off Craigslist 5 years ago was not reaching low enough temps to freeze the food on the top shelves of the freezer. I watched some YouTube videos and tested the continuity of the defrost thermostat and it needed to be replaced. I visited Bear Valley and Rich provided me the part at a very competitive price. I installed the part and it still did not fix my problem (but I believe the part was bad anyways and needed replacing). I then watched more videos and tested the continuity of the evaporator fan motor. It was not registering so my next step was to replace that part. I called Rich and shared with him the troubleshooting I had done and he thought replacing the motor was a good idea. The new motor was $130. I told Rich I bought the freezer for $150 and needed to be sure the evaporator motor would fix my problem. He told me to grab a small household fan, turn it on, point it at the evaporator coils and close the freezer door. If the temperature goes down to below freezing - buy the part. Well I did just that and the freezer had cooled to 15 degrees in one hour - So this is why I am writing this review - I could find this part a little cheaper from a large online website - but Rich just earned my business because he took the time to help me troubleshoot - It is because of his 30 years of experience I didnt toss this freezer into the landfill - GREAT Customer Service!!!

I have been going to Bear Valley Appliance for years to get parts for the appliances in my rentals. You can buy parts online but you wont get Ricks knowledge of parts and analytical ability. When my furnace died and I wanted to fix it myself this place was great! They had the parts I needed and friendly advice on installing them. He even told me that if I had any trouble (I didnt) to give them a call and hell try to help over the phone. Ill definitely return when I need parts again.

I called for dryer repair service. A gentleman named Bruce contacted me for an appointment. The first time he stood me up. It was a no call no show. I took time off of work. The second time he arrived late and made some BS excuse as to why he couldn’t fix it and recommend that I call some one else. That is after he stood me up once again. Bad shape.

The first part I got was a used part and Im sure they knew it. Thats why Rick let me bring old one back.I got to pay repairman a second time to R&R part.
