The owner broke my Breitling watch replacing its battery. Although he claimed he didnt do anything after being shown the malfunctioning display, the owner apparently replaced my battery with a thicker high-capacity battery and then forced the watch case closed (which I witnessed), breaking the LCD display. His mistake will cost me $500-1000 and 3-4 months to repair. Although Ive taken all my watches to his shop for years, I will never, ever return.

Came here to support a local business. I needed my watch links removed to fit my wrist. TOLD ME THEY WILL CHARGE ME MORE THAN THEIR USUAL $ FOR THIS BASIC SERVICE BECAUSE (wait for it) THE HIGH QUALITY OF MY WATCH MADE IT HARDER TO DO THE JOB. I don’t know which blows me away more, the NERVE OR how are you still in business?

Super nice owner, great little store. I went in with a few problems and the owner addressed them perfectly in every case. Ocean Time has a great reputation, I was recommended by the owners of another store in Escondido. That said, Im not sure Id be entirely comfortable having them work on my high end stuff. Great for quick, casual repairs though.All said, for almost every need, I would highly recommend Ocean Time.

Small business run by a guy who knows his watches. Very friendly guy who fixed a couple of my watches, and provided me with a small missing part at no charge.Ill go out of my way to buy my replacement watch batteries from him, since hes such a good guy and I like to support these small local family run businesses.

BIG CROOK……BEWARE…!!!!!!!….Sure he is a nice guy……Most Con Men are….he likes to play stupid like his English is no good and of course when you are spending 5 dollars you like him. But I took my mothers Baume Marche watch in and he told me the movement was shot and the battery dripped acid all over the movement and destroyed it…..he needed 250 dollars to repair it. I then took the watch to another jewelry and he put a 6.00 battery in and it works fine. The other jeweler told me he was a liar and I called Baum Marche and they charge the same price except they use Genuine Parts not the cheap chinese crap he uses for the SAME PRICE.Then I gave him my wifes Rolex that needed 720 dollars worth of work according to him and again he would use about 30 dollars in knock off parts…Rolex will fix it for will overhaul the entire watch for 650 so I sent it to dallas as Rolex really controls their parts……This guy is a BIG CROOK….STAY AWAY…….

I ordered a Casio watch off of Amazon, and it turned out to be very loose around my wrist. Walked into this shop the next weekend and he took some links out of the wristband on the spot, charged $5 dollars.
