I have had to take in my computer multiple times they couldnt fix my computer and lied about testing it. Overall they did a horrible job and almost made it worse. Very disappointed in there work DONT COME HERE!

Do not buy the Geek Squad warranty when you purchase a TV from Best Buy. Our Samsung TV screen went bad and its been months and they keep scheduling an appointment to replace it and either they no show or they cancel. The TV is at the local Best Buy store so it is in stock. After the cancellation you end up spending hours on the phone to reschedule. I wont be buying products from Best Buy since they dont stand by their products or their warranty.

I have visited the Encinitas location several times. Very knowledge and friendly staff.Communication was clear and service was quick! Definitely would recommend if you have issues with your tech.

Do not buy the Geek Squad warranty! They have taken weeks to repair my TV. My Samsung TV started having lines go across the screen after less than a year. I assumed Id take it to the store for an exchange. Nope, they wanted to repair it. So I took it back home and scheduled an appointment. 3 weeks later, after bringing the wrong part once, and missing their own 3 hour window where I had to wait for them the 2nd time my TV is still not working. Its a bad idea poorly executed.

I just took my laptop to be looked at by Best Buy Geek Squad. I was given one answer over and over again no matter what question I asked and was cut off repeatedly. I asked to speak to someone else because this communication was not working. The employee told me to sit down, I said no thank you, and he turned around and told me again to sit down very rudely. It was disrespectful and I was shocked that it was done in a professional environment. After multiple requests to speak with manager, I finally did. He seemed very unconcerned with the situation and said he would speak with them. I will never purchase anything from Best Buy or use Geek Squad again.

Both the San Marcos and Encinitas Geek Squads are AWESOME! So knowledgeable and helpful! Thanks for the excellent service and care!
