I love my floors along with the color as they were in really bad shape. They did a great job and made it so convenient with the process as I was a single parent at the time of service. With 2 kids and 3 dogs and an active household we were looking to refinish our hardwood floors and we were presented with a great solution.Now living on our floors after they were refinished its not really holding up to what we had expected. If I wash something off the floor with water and wash cloth the stain washes away and when my kids and dogs scratch the floor I see the natural wood. It was my understanding that the stain really penetrated the wood so if it were to scratch you wouldnt notice which sounded like a great option with kids and dogs. Maybe we choose the wrong color for our flooring or just not educated on the up keep but its not holding up as we had hoped.

Jon and his wife were absolutely amazing to work with. They were prompt, timely, professional, personable, honest, and very transparent about the process and cost of everything. I will recommend any friends and family that need their floors done to Colpron!

Colpron spent a great deal of time and effort-and a special trip out to meet prior to our decision-helping us select our new finish. They were indeed dustless, which was a critical matter due to my home office. They also refinished a number of nooks, trim pieces, and a vent register so that everything matched nicely. Jon brought my old fur floors back to life. My home was built in 1918, other companies said that my floors were not worth saving. Jon was up to the task! We had Colpron Custom floors bid on a flooring project for us. Jon came out and discussed our project, products he uses, his process, and that he would leave my home clean every night and amazing floors when he was done. I felt very comfortable believing that is what he would do. Jon (and his wife) and Drew blew me away. First they came in and sanded an area and put several color samples so we could see exactly what it would like on OUR wood in OUR house. They worked long hours, spending extra time every night cleaning up. We ended up replacing carpet with hardwood in both our dining room in addition to refinishing the kitchen and living room area. Most impressive of all is that we did a herringbone pattern in our dining room. Every time I see it, I smile. Our whole family absolutely loved working with them even more than we love our floors. Believe me, we LOVE our floors. Their attention to detail, work ethic, clean work, and final product have been absolutely amazing. Jon had made appointment with us to add another coat of oil to our hardwood floor for next Friday, but contacted us and asked if he could complete the work yesterday (a week earlier). The work was completed timely, and the floor now looks like new. Great customer service.

Unrivaled Old World Craftsmanship and ProfessionalismFrom the second Jon showed up on time and stepped foot into our home the family was at ease. Jon gave us an estimate to install and refinish our water damaged (Sink Flood) floors that was extremely competitive with many of is top competitors. Jon explained the process so well, our 3 and 6 year olds understood what would happen and when.Jon, provided several samples of colors on our floor (making sure to appease my OCD) so we could decide on the color for our home. Once our color was selected and the date was set and the new wood was delivered Jons professionalism shined from phone calls to verify dates were still good, to making sure the wood was stored properly for acclimation.When Jon sanded our floors with his dustless system I was sure I would find dust in our home but there was none. Jon refinished our original 1904 floors. I had reservations about using a specific product on them but every timeI emailed or texted him with a concern or question he was always very quick to call me and talk me thru my concerns. We are very pleased with the work he did and the product we chose! When he ran into a few rotten floor boards he was able to replaceThem and still finish the job on time. 10/10 would recommend.
