Very very bad service. Left my car to fix the air-conditioning. Pay $1000 and the air, at max AC is still hot!!! They did not fix it at all, and they are not responsible enough to admit their faults. Never go back!!!Your employee was so rude to me! He said Get out of here. Look at yourself!! I spent so many times going back there to ask you fix it. You dont have my trust anymore!!!!!

Update to reply: Took the parts in to the shop and they verified that it was indeed a bad part. They took it back to OReillys and were refunded for the part since it had a lifetime warranty. They stepped up and did what was right and got a refund.Long review, I am all about shopping locally and this is the reason I went to the shop for repairs. My truck needed a new clutch due to the factory one went out. They suggested a heavy duty clutch that they bragged about putting in lots of trucks that tow and how well it preformed. The work was done 1.5 years ago. Last week I was left broke down on the side of the road (clutch was locked up). I called the shop to ask about the warranty and to see if they would take a look at it since the one they put in only had 12,000 miles on it. They told me its out of warranty and they would look at it but charge me a minimum 30 minute shop time to see what was wrong. Long story short, pulled the clutch that they put in to find out it was a faulty part. Called them again and asked if they would do anything to help out since the part has a lifetime warranty. I fully understand the warranty on work was up, the clutch didnt go out due to wear and tear, it was a bad part.

Made an appointment 2 weeks ago for friday May 28th. Came in at 8 a.m. like I was asked to, was actually early. Daniel the shop manager was very polite in the morning. Absolutely made me feel like my truck was going to be taken care of. I left and went to work. Recieved a phone call froem Daniel at 1030 telling me he believes that I need a valve adjustment instead of a carburetor rebuild( carb is literally leaking fuel out of the filter). He tells me that my motor is weak, I just rebuilt the top end 7,000 miles ago. Did a valve check and compression check at 5,000 and was still putting out 150 psi in all 4 cylinders. I informed him of this and his response was oh you didnt mention that. I asked him to go ahead with the carb rebuild and to re pipe the exhaust still at this point at 1030. Called down to the shop at 3pm. And he said they are trying to wiggle it back in to at least to do the exhaust and that his mechanic didnt want to do my carb rebuild. I was frustrated with this due to that I had made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and they were going to try to wiggle me in a little ridiculous honestly. I decided to than just come and get my truck. When I showed up the lady that was in the office was immediately rude, ame with Daniel They basically left my keys in the truck and didnt do anything with it. Nice way for out of state business investors to make an impression on someone that has used this shop many times in the past. Nice job guys I applaud your awesome customer service and job not well done.Welcome to Emmett I do wish you the best of luck out here. I just want to know there are alot of decent backyard mechanics out here, Myself included. I just dont have a welder or would do the exhaust and I hate carburetors. But seriously work on your customer service and dont be trying to rip people off.

Ive spent 10000 at this shop never fixed the issue. Its a emergency they dont care. So I took it to a real diesel mechanic and its fixed and running great. Dont waste your money at Emmett auto people

I came here a couple years ago to have my exhaust system replaced. I am thoroughly happy with the results. Ive also been in a few times for a few minor repairs. The people here are very friendly, professional, honest, and knowledgeable. Their prices are fair and they are very good about honoring their warranties.I would say Emmett Automotive is a very good place to get basic repairs and a new exhaust system. They did miss one thing when I had to have my timing adjusted. The throttle position sensor needed to be adjusted in order for the timing to be set properly. I only know this because I learned about it by reading through the factory service manual. But I think this is forgivable because you cant expect them to have specialized knowledge on every type of vehicle.Overall Im very satisfied with this place. Highly recommended!

They did a great job. They took the time after the job was done to check everything and make sure all was good. They didnt just do the job and then hand the car back over. I appreciate all of the effort they put into being sure that their hard work was also quality work. Will definitely take my car to then for any future work that may be needed.

Fast service good people

The best vehicle repair work around. We take all our vehicles to them. The only draw back is that they are so busy that you cannot get a vehicle in fast for emergency maintenance. It takes a few days to get an appointment - but SOOOOOOO worth the wait!!!

Outstanding is an under statement. I had to get to work in Meridian Thurs afternoon when my alternator went out. I work in a high pressure, low paid, environment where attendance is mandatory. The folks at Emmett Automotive Repair were gracious in not only getting me in immediately, but also in empathetic conversation knowing how stressed I was under the circumstances. They had me in and out within 2 hrs and under $400. Oddly enough, I have to say my breakdown was the best part of my day! Kudos Dave and Evie.
