I’ve been fined more than two thousand dollars by the government because of what Block Advisors blames to be the result of their own software problem. They fully admit it was their fault, but I have been trying to get them to respond to this problem FOR FIVE MONTHS! Meanwhile, my credit rating is at risk and the feds are pursuing garnishment of my wages. This could happen to you. At a minimum, steer clear of the Park Ridge and Wilmette offices! They are both managed by Erica Oliver who has chosen to ignore the issue. AGAIN, THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, CREDIT PROBLEMS AND GARNISHMENT OF YOUR WAGES. Do you want the same

Absolute WORST experience with a tax advisor I have ever had. I made an appointment with the Cameo towers office in Elmwood Park, IL weeks in advance, and when I arrived for my appointment, the advisor never showed up. When I called the main number for Block Advisors, the customer service operator claimed my appointment was never on their schedule. If I could rate this service lower than 1 star I would, as it is more than they deserve. If I cant trust the tax preparer to keep an appointment, I wont trust them with my taxes. RUN -- dont walk, to another company.

If we find a cheaper price for filing our taxes we will highly consider going with that service provider. H.R. Block is a bit pricy.
