I left my car at 11am to have my wheels checked. They didnt call me back and give me information. When I arrived at 5 oclock they didnt check my wheels and did 110 miles with my car. they have very rude and rude staff and they never tell the truth. dont leave your car...

My brakes were squeaking and i ask them to check and they immediately said i should replace my front brakes and rotors which are absolutely fine (installed an year prior at different firestone). I denied the job and took it to my usual place and they showed me rotors and pads are in perfect condition and the rotors in the back are the ones squeaking and thats because of uneven wear and still have lot of life in them.I would not trust this store.

I think Firestone lifetime alignment is a ripoff. I did all my alignment at Firestone because i have the lifetime alignment warranty and in just over a year all my tires balled on the inside. The last time i went for a alignment and oil chance it was done in 45 mins. very poor job and now i need 4 new tires. I file a complaints with head office and all i was told that i would get a call within 48 hours every week and never did. Stay away from the lifetime alignment warranty it is a big ripoff

I recently had came in and got a new set of tires and open the fire stone credit card to which was fairly simple the next day I went home in an attempt to take my Lugnuts off to put a new hubcap on the studs broke off on the passenger and driver side the same day I called fire stone and spoke to a customer service representative by the name of Adriana she assured me everything would be taken care of to which it was after the fact and it would be no cost to me I brought my car in the next Day around 12 o’clock and the job was completed around 3 She had Court called meDay around 12 o’clock and the job was completed around 3 She had Called me to let me know my vehicle was ready and everything was fixed and up to par her customer service skills were 100% and made me feel comfortable knowing that I was in good hands and she would make sure the problem was handled and she did overall some things could’ve been better but at the end it was all fixed thanks for your great customer service Adriana will definitely be coming back because of you ✅

This has by far been one of the worst service I have received from Auto Care. This hasnt been a one time thing at this location, but I have gave multiple chances and the same issues occur repeatedly. This includes multiple aspects, as well as waiting for more than a couple hours for a simple oil change. I currently own 4 cars and I trust them with the services for ALL 4 CARS every single time, but after todays service, they are going to be losing another valuable customer, as I am not pleased with this service I have been receiving.

I am not one to write bad reviews on any bad situation. There are times the truth needs to be said. Here is one.Today, I went to purchase some tires. I needed two for the front. I shopped online the last few days and settled on this company. I was lied to by Antonio, about a store policy and other issues with the purchase. I went for some inexpensive tires for my jeep. Only because I wanted to have something, before I make a decision on which way I will go with the vehicle. I had setup an appointment for tires I wanted. Never showed on the screen. I came in before my appointment and explained that I wanted inexpensive tires. I drive less than 100 miles a week. I was offered $96 Bridgestone Destination tires. Since BF Goodridge had issues, I will not be buying Bridgestone Firestone tires. When I explained that I wanted cheap tires, I was told I cannot mix and match tires on my jeep... But, if I have 4 Nexen tires on my jeep, wouldnt the Destination tires be a mix and match? That is when I told him, I am a mechanic and that was pear BS. Then he told me, that I would have to match all my tires because I have a four wheel drive vehicle and that it is company policy. I was getting very annoyed. I explained to him, that that was BS. I called corporate and asked them. As they stated that policy applies to AWD (full time All Wheel Drive) SUVs. Like the Acura MDX AWD. Finally, I got the tires I needed, after having the tires shipped from Saddle Brook. I could have driven the few minute drive over there. Took 45 minutes. I get the tires, told them I had a lock for the lug nuts. All was good. I get my jeep back and was never told the key was twisted when they were working on it. Antonio looked me dead in the face. No one mention of it. I get to my jeep, they never placed the new tires on the rear, as they company display said. I was never given a wheel alignment check, as company policy said. I had to file a damage report for the key. I have to go back for the free wheel alignment and to have the tires rotated.This has been, by far, a horrible experience. I would not recommend this location to anyone. If you do, please do the following. Remove locking lugs (if you can), ensure that everything is spelled out on the paperwork. Know what the company offers. Ensure there arent damages to your vehicle and before you leave, make sure the job is completed as asked.

Ive been going to Firestone for many years now with many different locations to boot. Ive yet to be disappointed with the work they have done. Every work they do is warranted at all locations throughout which is a very good thing. I can certainly say that they are definitely worth it. Thanks Firestone for the many years of car service.

I had a fleet car. These guys knew exactly who we were and called our vechulw coordinator and everything on their own! We were in and out with new oil, brakes inspected, new brakes, and tires rotated in two-ish hours!! Super friendly and multiple employees updated us on the progress and what they were doing next.

About a year ago I went in to the Saddle Brook location for a routine oil change and wait SIX hours despite having an appointment. The manager claimed he did not know I was sitting there in the waiting area and apologized that they did not have a full crew. So I figured I would go to the ELmwood Park location. Again go in for an oil change and there was a thumping noise from somewhere under the car. They told me that they couldnt find the noise. FInally I, a senior citizen. crawled under the car and within a minute found that a rear shock absorber came loose! When I called them, they said I had to go to AutoZone to buy the bolt myself. Figured I would go back to Saddle Brook and told them the whole story. Showed up for a 7AM appointment ( had to wait 3 days for an appointment) only to be told that they only had one person working and did not know how long it would be. Firestone lost a 20 year + customer today. And you need a ZERO star option

I went there because I popped a tire on the road and paid a ridiculous price for the work. In total, it came to nearly $300 for the Acura tire and labor.The mechanic drove my car out of the place and down the road for whatever reason after the repair.(I can’t really grasp the concept because that’s NEVER HAPPENED to me in my life.) To top it off, it took nearly an hour to do the job. NEVER AGAIN!!

I have been servicing my car at Firestone, Elmwood Park, NJ for more than 25 years. Recently, there was a change of the management team. I was worried if this new management team was going to be as knowledgeable and customer service oriented as the last management team. Tyler, the new manager immediately put me at ease. Tyler absolutely knows how to treat his customers and repair a vehicle. He is very professional and goes beyond the extra step to be sure the customer is pleased with his service. He has exceptional customer service skills and a great communicator. Furthermore, he was honest, explained my concerns in detail, and had completely earned my trust. I believe honesty is the most important trait to have in an auto repair business. I certainly recommend Tyler and his team at Firestone, Elmwood Park, NJ.

I have been visiting this store for service going on eight years now. I have one closer to me in my home town, but I drive to the next town over and get my car serviced here instead. The mechanic staff are excellent and the former management staff did a wonderful job as well. Recently a new management team has taken over and sometimes it takes time to get use to new faces. But this new team has risen to the occasion and in my last few visits, have proven to me that they will continue the stellar work the previous team did. I commend you for keeping the level of performance high while bringing in a new team. A hard task to accomplish at times. Thank you for your service and insight with my car maintenance needs.

I entered the facility and had to stand with no acknowledgement. Once a sales person acknowledged me (the one furthest from me by about six feet), he did not stand up and come to the counter. There were no markings for social distancing and no barriers, so perhaps that was why.Nonetheless, I had to yell my needs out to him so he could hear me. He did not take any detailed information or ask any questions. I specifically told him I had concerns about my alternator and that it had been replaced twice. He later called me and said the issue was that my battery was leaking. I approved the repair but NO OTHER RECOMMENDED REPAIRS WERE MENTIONED BY HIM DURING THE CALL. I asked about repair of my headlights, for which one is noticeably more dim than the other and I asked for that to be repaired. When I returned to pick up my car, no repair had been done on the headlights. I was never explained the work done nor told anything about any recommended services that I allegedly had declined. A servicemen signed for my card on the atm card reader without my consent and handed me the invoice thereafter with no explanation - which I assumed was a COVID precaution but still questioned the legality of that. I rode home and after starting to run errands thinking the car was repaired, it stalled out and I could not start it. I then read the invoice seeking to call to complain and noticed a declined work note relating to my alternator belts. This repair was never offered on the two calls I had with the shop, nor mentioned when I picked up the car and I specifically informed the shop of concerns about my alternator. There also was a notation on the invoice stating that I had approved an increase in price. I had only approved an increase in price for the work related to my headlights which was not done. I would never send someone here ever. I would love to know what executive order allows them to sign for debit and credit cards on behalf of customers without their consent. Their COVID-19 safety practices are lacking. They wasted my time and money and I wonder now if my battery actually had any issue because there was no battery check light on. EVER. This was the worst experience I have had with a repair shop in 20 years.

The guys seemed friendly and knew what they were talking about. I used to be a mechanic and I overheard couple of their transactions while I waited. They are straight forward with people and honest. The only negative was having to wait a while to get just an oil change but I understand this isnt just an oil change place. I also had a 50% off my fully synthetic oil change so it was a good deal.Good job guys.

Friendly staff who usual is there when you walk in, and if not, you would typically wait like a few before someone comes back. Haven’t really seen any issues with more conversations than attending customers, it’s a good balance. They are good with walk in appointments, & have knowledgeable mechanics. So far, they are good in my book.

I have been a customer at firestone for 5 years, recently I had an oil change, rotation , and alignment done on my vehicle, two days after , I was driving on the highway and my car stalled, power disconnected and reconnected immediately, it was scary. As I was trying to get to the shoulder it happened two more times. After I pulled over, I opened the hood to see if there was an issue with the battery, I found the hood holder out of place and (loose) and near the positive terminal with marks on it. It seems that what caused a shortage in the circuit and cause the stalling while driving. Technicians need to be very careful as this could cause fatality ,God forbid. Please make sure everything is 100% before cars get picked up, rushing the work to increase production could cause someone’s their life due to negligence. The one star in the review is to get the attention to the issue, otherwise My experience was positive in the past 5 years at this location.Keep up the good work. Thanks.

I really have to find another place to take my car to get a oil change,because I have gotten my oil changed a few times with firestone and every time I drive my car afterwards I always feel something is not right.I feel like they are doing something to my car so that I have to come back and spend money to get it fixed!My car was not hesitating before I dropped it off now when I turn corners it is......I don’t trust them I really have to find somewhere trustworthy to go!

This location is horrible my husband dropped off his car at 9 am he was the first person online to check in his car for oil change ..my husband got back at 4.30 PM his car wasnt done .. this is the most ridiculous the guys took 30 cars on Sunday and didnt complete my husband oil change at 5.19pm he is still waiting for his car. No one shall not go through this type of horrible service .

When Mike is not here. I wait hours just for an oil change. They take all customers that came after me. I know its because Im a black woman. Truly hate coming here. Hubby loves it. He doesnt get the treatment I get. Antonio never nice always sarcastic and disrespectful. I have to keep my composure because theyre dealing with my vehicle. I got here alittle after 5. Lifetime alignments for $180 on your vehicle! Pays for itself after the second visit. If youre in the Tri-State area, this is a steal (with potholes, its reasonable to get an alignment every 6-8 months)

Bunch of incompetent jack asses , I dropped off my wheel and tire for a simple patch and balance because I had a tiny finishing nail in the tread . Well I picked it up the following day and 3/4 of the nice billet aluminum wheel was gouged and the took a chunk out if my tire when they plugged it . Then I go back and try to get my wheel replaced and the manager told me they didnt do it I did it off-roading .
