This company has been a lot of help when it comes to google listings. Personally Erynn Robinson has been the best representative this far and her customer service is excellent. She’s easy to understand and knows all the answers to questions or concerns. I’ve never met someone so willing to help someone when it comes to explaining and understanding what’s actually going on and getting done. I highly recommend speaking with her because she goes the extra mile to make sure everything goes and looks right.

I am pleased with Lezlie Vargas persistence with my issue with Google. Google deleted a review of mine and then none of the new reviews would show up online. This lasted for about five months of my busiest season and I am not at all pleased with GOOGLE. I received a call stating they worked for Google and that they can help bring in more customers by verifying me for $250, told them I was verified already and they said that wasnt the same thing as Google. It was a different verification that will get me more customers. Turns out its not nothing new that I hadnt done. Got ripped off for $250 and they just blocked my number without even giving me a chance to tell them to cancel. This company is definitely a scam please dont fall for it like it did. This company is fake and will take your money and block you.

I got a call from Marissa telling me how she could improve my Google listing for my Storage Units.,,I had never heard of Straight Marketing. So while talking to her I googled Straight Marketing. Read some reviews liked what I saw. I had just pulled my ad from YP phonebook listing..$148.00 A MONTH🤬🤬🤬 When she quoted me the price to update my Google listing I was very skeptical but I decided to give it a try.. Most horrible experience Ive ever had.. these people promise you the world and cant even call you back for weeks at a time.. nothing you ask them to do never gets done and you will never have a personal manager that only deals with you like they say in the beggining. .. you will be passed around between five different managers or more and none of them know what the heck is going on cause they cant get there stories strait!! If youve already highered them then you know what I say is the truth..

Look at other one star reviews. They are the truth. I got sold on their SEO pitch and signed up for service. Was told the same as others - that I would have an account manager and they would keep me updated on the progress of my account and that I can cancel at anytime for any reason. Well, 8 months later I havent heard from them at all except for the times Ive contacted them. The most help I have received was from Kerina who helped me to set up my google listing (I believe in February). Since that time, I have not received a single phone call or email regarding my account, nor have I received a single invoice or payment receipt (I believe out of sight out of mind is the strategy). So, I called to cancel during their posted business hours and was told I need to speak to my account manager. I received a call today and spoke with a manager (I think she said her name was Sarah). She reviewed my account and the progress and proceeded to explain how cancellation would negatively affect my business. When I said I dont want to be sold on anything and that I JUST WANT TO CANCEL, that wasnt good enough. She kept pushing for a reason, saying she cant cancel my account until she fills out a form with info on why Im cancelling. I then restated I just want to cancel, Im not satisfied with the service provided, and that communication was poor between the company and myself. She was very aggressive in quoting phone records of calls (almost all of which occurred months ago regarding my google listing setup and originated by me) essentially calling me a liar. She was argumentative and insistent on me giving a reason why I wanted to cancel, then would talk over me while I gave a response. I lost my cool and told her if she didnt understand why I want to cancel that she should find someone who does for me to talk to. She then started in with the only person above me is the owner and they dont talk to customers. I finally got her to agree to cancel my account but had to request a confirmation email. I cant say that this company is a scam. But it is pretty close. I find it interesting that theyll set up a yelp for you but dont have one for themselves. Also not BBB accredited and the reviews there are more telling. I was solicited to give a review early on before it became apparent that their service wasnt going anywhere. Perhaps this explains their high rating in google. I decided Id wait and see, and here we are.

One-time charge: not quite!The followup phone call was another pitch. for almost $2000!Now I must say, Phillip did a good job showing the value of the service, and explaining how it would work.I believe there is value to be built, if you want to increase your sales over time. However, I dont think it is worth this kind of fees. This would require some significant capitalization!Overall, I dont recommend working with this type of company, as they didnt get the details correct on my business listing after repeated instructions. Even on the second day, the details were not there.They are just too big to get it right, and too expensive for a (very) small business like mine.

These Gus are a scam I don’t know how they have high ratings here. Their BBB profile is a much better representation.They are not a contractor with google. The first time they call you they claim they are.You are not paying them 199 to verify your business for life. You can do that with google for free. You are paying for their marketing services which they will not tell you.I would be fine to pay for their services if they explained that but they didn’t and it’s a major red flag.You are paying for their marketing services. Not Google’s verification process.

I have not noticed a thing they have done in 3 months that I have been with them and The Account Manager from Straight Marketing LLC has not responded to my email I sent 2 weeks ago about canceling my service. So their cancel any time policy they have is a lie. Because she wouldnt even take my call. The phone receptionist said she is to busy to talk to me and I have to schedule an appointment with the Account Manager to cancel with them. So their real policy is cancel when then let you! So I finally talked to her but shes Not listening to me shes just yelling at me saying why are you canceling tell me why? over and over! She just wouldnt cancel it for the longest time and when I finally said I dont need to explain my reason to you I was told I can cancel at anytime and I want to cancel now! She said Okay!!! and hung up on me. and now I can not get through to anyone! Stay away from these people!!!

I really didn’t want to have to do this, but they have left me no choice. For a couple months I would receive numerous spam calls. One day I decided to pick up. Spoke to a gentleman claiming that he worked for Google and wanted to help get my business listed on Google. Everything sounded great on the phone. Claimed I would get a lot of leads and everything would be great.He initially gave me a one time $300 price. I said that was high and he was able to drop it down to $179. To pay once and have everything he said done, I was totally okay with. Said I would have my own account manager who will walk me through and explain everything for me. Scheduled a meeting with him the next day. For what the initial guy said, I had a lot of questions. With this guy on the second day, every time I would ask a question it’s almost like he took offense to every question I asked. Overall wasn’t a pleasant conversation. Then it all came down to me paying an additional $800 for more SEO work to be done. I told him that was too much and he offered to give me the same product for $400 less just because...I told them I want a refund. He told me to call into customer service and file the claim. Did that and the woman said my refund has been processed. It’s now a day later, haven’t received my refund or even an email saying it’s on the way. Tried calling all three of the numbers I have for them and it appears I’ve been blocked! Even tried calling from my personal number too and it doesn’t go through. I just want a refund please.I would not recommend working with this company.

The offer started out as a one time fee for being listed on google. Then I was told someone would call the next day to set up something, well it wound up being a high pressure sales pitch to sell a website I didn’t want.

This company has called almost daily for the past month. On 2 occasions when I asked a question about the company they immediately hung up on me (This was not a dropped call). I told them I wouldnt sign up immediately and thats when they hang up on you. They clearly arent providing any service...rather just want to collect a fee for making sure your google account is set up (which you can do yourself through google business) Other real estate agents in my office are running into the same issues with these people.

This place is a scam. I have reported them to Better Business Bureau. Their response is that they have none of our information on file. I paid your rep $329 and $499 in the last two weeks for all this to be done. No one returns a call or an email.

I received a call from a call center today stating that they were calling to help me finish setting up my Google business account. They had quite a bit of my business details (all available on Google). I was eventually transferred to Patrick Coseglia, a Senior Marketing Analyst. He did a song and dance and offered me a discount down to the amount of $300.00. He stated that he was going to add key search words to my account so customers could find me more easily and I could get more business. I had already done this myself. When asked, he admitted that he didnt work for Google but that was heavily implied by the first caller. Basically, Straight Marketing wanted to charge me $300.00 for 5 minutes of work. Im pretty low-tech. If I can do this, anyone can. What they do probably isnt even illegal. If asked, they admit that they arent Google and might even be able to add key search words at some point. Save your money, if you cant set up your Google business account yourself find any teenaged relative and give him/her a twenty dollar tip!

I should have definitely researched them before I used their service. I paid the fee, as well as the add on fee, and 1 month of the monthly service fee before realizing they were doing nothing but listing our company on a bunch of sites that no one uses. I tried calling them but their number was disconnected and changed. When you call the new number, you only get an answering service that can not pass you on, escalate your call or let you talk to any support what so ever. Looking like only way to stop charges is to cancel the credit card on file. Please dont fall for this like I unfortunately did!!

I received a call from this company and we decided to have them list our company. They said they were reliable and always available to get a hold of if we had any questions or changes that needs to be made. They never listed us on google and they never were available. $150.00 down the drain, not only did they take our money but they tried to have us pay 300 + for more marketing which I’m thankful I did not pay. The sales guy Richard was a jerk and now their phone number does not work! Stay away from this company! They will steal your money.

I was already listed on google which made me reluctant, but they promised to manage and market my business and correct my information online. So far, I have had a great experience. Waste of money I feel ripped off/scammed. They get you with an automated call stating Your google account is not Verified making you believe they are with google but they are not. Once you press 1 to speak to someone they tell you to pay a one time fee of $499USD negotiable of course for their Citations program, then they hard sell you into some monthly subscription BS for $99 USD per month promising to get me on the first page of google over time (buying time to collect monthly payment). Months pass I continuously received the same automated spam calls from them which raised my suspicion since I already signed up. I then checked google search to see if any progress but after almost a year I am still on page 9 with no follow up or anything. I then contacted my account manager at Straight Marketing told me not to search Interior Design Vancouver because there are too many of the same service in my city (but that why I signed up for their service) and I needed to search Interior Design near me or Interior Design by my postal code. This is dumb because my service is not like a gas station where clients are just looking for the nearest Interior design company. It is obvious when you search specifics that it will come up on the first page especially by postal code. At the end I got nothing out of this so called service. I would not recommend this anyone. This is a pure money grab.

John was the first person I spoke with and he was more than helpful, Marissa gave me her cell so i could contact her whenever and she is always available for my issues. These people are terrible. They take you money. Give you nothing in return. Try to up sell the heck out of you. Then when you call them on it. They try and blame you and wont give you your money back. Its not Straight Marketing. Its CROOKED Marketing.
