HOW ABOUT TREATING THE SELLER WITH RESPECT & COURTESY MS. MACGILL?THEY PAY YOUR COMMISSIONS!!!I am stunned and extremely angry at this womans lack of honesty and professionalism. Not only was she dishonest with me and the Scheduling service, Im quite sure she came up with some untruth for her buyers.I am a home Seller in Howard County Md. My home is listed in the low $600s, therefore it is not a quick sell and people expect perfection ~ and rightly so! I had 2 showings scheduled today (that were made yesterday, January 8th. I received a call at 9:45 am that Ms Macgill scheduled a showing for this morning 11:30 am. An hour and 45 minutes is a bit tight and very inconsiderate, but I was already preparing for other showings, and I would like to sell my home, so I just sighed and accepted. This woman showed up with her clients 45 minutes later. Im in the garage with the dog and there she is at 10:35. Im in sweats, dog barking AND she had the audacity to tell me the appointment was at 11:00 am, and politely explained that I was getting my home in order (perfection is imperative). For some reason I apologized, which was wrong of me, since I had done nothing wrong; and Ms. Macgill seemed so understanding; its fine, I have another house to show, blah blah blah. Yet she was the one who should have apologized for ~ 1. Scheduling a showing with less than 2 hours notice! 2. Showing up 50 minutes early 3. Lying about the appointment time. Did she really expect me to jump in the car and say, Sure, show my home an hour earlier, just because you drove up (i did actually think about it)? I guess thats what we do. Then we pay agents $30,000 dollars in commissions! As I then break my butt to accommodate an appointment with less than 2 hours notice and get out of my house (with a dog), I get a call at 11:40 that MS MACGILL cancelled the appointment! I guess she showed me!! Her reasoning??? There were a couple of them. 1.The last appointment had run a bit late and her clients were leaving the area! Really?? So she is on a tight schedule...and she doesnt schedule showings until the morning of?? What a disservice to her buyers. How much prep work does this woman do for her commissions? 2. She then had the audacity to tell the scheduling rep that I wouldnt let her in!! I wonder what she told her clients; most likely she told THEM the appointment was at 11:00 also, and I wouldnt let them in and rescheduled it to 11:30.Guess what people? The commission on a home in the $600s is in the $40,000 dollar range (split of course!), AND I PAY IT!!!! Ms. MacGill lies to me, to the scheduling company, and most likely the buyer. Good riddance MacGill Team. You arent worth 2 pennies for the way you treated me. From what I hear, this is pretty much how you roll! treating those that put food on your table, the Lexus in your garage, and your kids through college!Sellers pay your commission, yet you have no respect for our time, what we do to get our homes ready, what we are going through living in a fish bowl, as well as the emotional upheaval of letting go of the home where we raised our kids! How dare you!I feel so sorry for your buyers. Have a little respect for other peoples time, the buyers AND those that pay you.
