Advanced Radiology provides a full spectrum of state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services. One thing that I like about AR is that they have evening hours. So after I’m done working I can go to get my exams done with them. I always try to do as much as I can during the week days and I always go at night. The waiting time is minimum. The staff at this location is always friendly and willing to help and accommodate the patients with any situation (good or bad). The radiologists are -in all my experiences- very nice and friendly and treat me with respect and kindness.

Ive been having #mymammo at Crossroads for the past several years and always have a wonderful experience there. The entire staff is remarkable and so friendly. Today took a wee bit longer than usual and all I want to say to anyone who has to wait is please have patience. They are doing the best they can to get all of us handled. Highly recommend 👌

Advanced Radiology provides great customer service for their patients, and they have knowledgeable staff who communicate well on the medical procedures being performed or that is being recommended.

I have run into a couple issues with scheduling my appointments this past year and one representative in particular always goes out of her way to assist with my needs. Excellent service. Walked in at 11am, with out an appointment. They took me in 15 minutes for an X-ray. The technician made me comfortable and I was out quickly. My doctor got the results and called me that afternoon. I was fine and did not have to wait the entire weekend for result.

The whole process was simple and seamless. I was easily able to schedule the appointment over the phone, I was allowed to come in right in time for my turn and the lady who actually performed the procedure was extremely polite and friendly. Everything was sanitized and cleaned properly. I highly recommend this location to all. Thanks

I had a very smooth experience getting my CT scan and X-ray done. All of the staff members were polite and thoughtful and the facility was very proficient and clean.

There was a delay which is understandable. The first technologist failed to introduce herself. They did not explain any thing about the contrast they were injecting to me which is a serious mistake. The preparation room metallic table was not clean and full of dust. There were many used tourniquets lying all over the counter. Most seriously the biohazard disposable bins main lid was open and it was more than two third full which is a very serious violation of the law. Anybody could have taken used syringes and needles from it. The second technologist Barry was friendly and professional.

Great Staff, incompetent radiologists. Front desk staff, imaging techs, etc are all top notch. Radiologists missed a diagnosis several times. Could have began treatment years ago if they had done their job properly. If you go here make sure you get a second opinion from someone who actually looks at the images versus the impression from the radiologist!

I came in for an MRI of my ankle (dang legos!). Online sign-in was a breeze. The front desk staff was very friendly when I signed the final paperwork and there was no waiting. Zip. I went straight back for my test.My MRI tech (Janine) was kind and efficient.5 stars for Advanced Radiology at Crossroads. Plenty of parking, clear signage, clean facility, and awesome staff who were practicing pristine Covid practices.

My experience here for a back MRI was very poor. First off, they under quoted my co pay by $80 between when I scheduled the appointment and arrived. The MRI itself was very unpleasant. No music to listen which I thought was pretty standard these days. The tech was constantly rushing me. Seemed to get angry that I complained I was in pain and needed a break. He told me he would take me out between the different back sections but never did. And when I was finally done, the next patient was standing next to the bed waiting for me to get up. I won’t be coming back here for any imaging.

Although short, my visit was very pleasant. I was in and out before I even knew it. Not only did I have a speedy and hassle free visit, the employees in the front and radiologist that I worked with were very pleasant and seemed very attentive. Felt welcomed and taken care of. Great job you all.

Excellent service. The call I made to ask about getting x rays done was pleasant and helpful. The office visit was well received and quick for getting me in and out. I always go to this location in Ellicott City even though its further away for me to travel.

Called ahead and was told the process for the service I needed. Everything went exactly as planned...no surprises! In and out of the procedure quickly, including inprocessing that was professional and friendly. They even agreed to sending extra copies of results to additional people. FAST, FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL - cant get much better than that!

They were very prompt with keeping my appointment time and Heidi was an excellent technician. She was friendly, explained what she was doing and was very gentle.

Easy to make appointments, they also send me friendly reminders to schedule appointments for my annual exams in the event I haven’t scheduled yet.Conveniently located from my home, usually I’m able to find parking easily. Both on the phone and in person staff is courteous and friendly. Wait time has not been bad for me most of the times.

My experience was a good one, everyone was respectful, starting from the check- in lady on 8/30/21.

Response to arrival to allow check in was reasonably quick. Check in went smoothly. Heidi took me to the examining room after only a few minute wait after check in. Exam prep was easy. Heidi asked a few questions and explained everything. Debbie did a great job inserting the needle. The exam took less than 10 minutes, everything seemed to go smoothly.

The technician was very nice and professional. The COVID process was smooth and I was in and out in a matter of 15 minutes!

Outstanding service from the front desk through the reologist.Checking in was very convenient. You stay in your car and contact the front desk through texting.Once you are in it registration was fast and easy.

They scheduled my appointment the same day as I called and spoke with my insurance to get same day approval for my MRI. Everyone was very friendly and nice to deal with. Staff went above and beyond helping with my rather painful and hard to maneuver leg.

Great place to get medical scans. I had to get a test done and the staff was very thorough yet efficient with the paperwork. Everybody was wearing masks and made sure to practice a safe working environment. All the equipment in this location was well maintained as well as clean and sanitary. I enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back if I needed future tests.

A few weeks ago, my daughter needed an X-ray. I went to this location and was told via text we were cleared to come in. My 4.5 year old daughter and I went inside, and filled out paperwork. As soon as we walked in, there appeared to be way too many people in the waiting room. After filling out paperwork I was told to take a seat ( in the incredibly crowded lobby). I opted to stand at the front of the room - during my 45 minutes of waiting, two people coughed repeatedly the entire time I waited. When I became nervous, I asked the front desk how much longer the wait was and was told ‘I don’t know’. I then asked if my daughter and I could wait in a different part of the building (due to safety concerns), I was told “no”.I then told them I was going to leave, and magically, they called us back.The X-ray technician was rude and showed no compassion for a little girl who was scared.Fast forward to today 1/5/20. I sent my wife to pick up my daughters X-ray CD, and while she has the right to obtain medical information, the front desk gave her an incredibly difficult time - forcing her to call me to verify. I can appreciate needing to follow proper HIIPA guidelines, but yelling at my wife in front of the entire waiting room is not only rude, but unacceptable behavior from a medical practice.There are plenty of other imaging centers in Howard county and we will be using a different facility going forward.

Advanced Radiology Crossroads is an excellent location for medical testing. Nobody likes to do these things, however, they make it easy, convenient, COVID sensitive, and take great care of you. Every staff member has always treated me with respect and dignity. Thank you!

Fast and easy text check in before going into building. They texted when they were ready for me to go inside, keeping inside waiting area open. Only waited a few moments before I was called back. Technician was friendly and told me everything she was going to do before doing it.

The staff there wasn’t friendly at all nobody explained to me the process nor what to expect. Once my child was done I had to find a staff member to tell me what to do next. Definitely won’t be returning to this particular location 🤷🏽‍♀️

My visit to Advanced Radiology today was a pleasant one. I was greeted with a friendly smile and cheerful hello. I was given directions for my safe check-in. When called I had an expedient and warm check-in. The person who performed my mamagram made me feel comfortable and was very efficient.Everyone was pleasant and conscientious of my needs and the need to make me feel safe in the environment. I went to Advanced Radiology for a Nuclear Medicine test that I was dreading - it was a very long test on the Monday after Christmas, I was stressed about the results, and I just really didnt want to have to do it. There were a few things that went wrong with the medication at the start, but Jessica was unbelievably helpful, fixed every problem quickly and with amazing communication, and her positivity made the entire day a great experience. Thank you so much for turning what could have been a terrible day into one where I can feel positive and hopeful about receiving my results!

The staff when I arrived were so welcoming. Everyone I interacted with from the Front Desk Personnel to the different folks running different tests...class acts all around! This is especially important nowadays as we all have pause of going into spaces where people may be potentially sick.

This location is absolutely awesome! I came in this morning with a request from my physician and was in and out in less than 30mins. They have a well honed process that keeps clients safe and minimizes the wait time.Before being permitted to enter the building, I was asked to check in via text message. After confirming my name, dob and what was the imaging service that I needed, I was asked to enter and gave my temperature read and proceed to a check in station. Ten mins after verifying my insurance information I was being seen by an X-ray technician. Wow!If only my primary care office was this efficient. I cannot vouch for other Advanced Radiology Centers but if you their services, I recommend going out of your way to visit this one if necessary.

A very positive experience! They are taking precautions for Covid, I didnt have to wait very long, and the check-in person and radiologists were extremely competent and friendly.

They had developed an excellent system having the patient wait in their car until it was okay to go into the building. It kept the crowds down for sure. They were efficient. The technician was friendly and obviously knew her job.

I feel they are over booking appointments at this site. I had to wait in my car for 1/2 hour before entering to register. Then had to sit in the waiting room which was too crowded.They are not eliminating every other chair so I felt uncomfortable sitting there.Both tests I had were run very well and efficiently. Also it was very cold with the ACrunning on a rainy day in the low 50’s.

The technician was skilled & efficient. Her manner was reassuring & pleasant.

Perfectly efficient, perfectly nice. Three things. They dont inform you about the controversial nature of gadolinium, the MRI contrast used. Yes, it seems to be “OK” for most people but it’s metal In your bloodstream for gods sake and stays there for weeks, months, sometimes the rest of your life. The manganese based alternative is perfectly safe and leaves your body in 24 hours, it’s been around for two years, so why cant they at least offer it. Also, I thought the noise from the MRI definitely compromised my hearing. The little flimsy air plugs they give you are pretty cheap and then the foam Pads to go next to your head don’t do the job. it would be very kind if they put some energy into something effective! When you do a brain scan, your head is smack next to the clanging. Finally they don’t ask you when you set up an appointment if you want the standard size bore or the open one. Oh, they say, you should’ve told us you wanted an open one, you’ll have to schedule that one much later because we don’t have very many. So I put up With it and did the standard size bore because it was very important for me to get these results asap.

They let me txt when I got there and I waited in the car due to covid. I was able to get a lot of paperwork done thru txt. Had me in and out in an hour during their walk-in X-ray clinic. The technician was nice abs fast. Hoping to get the results in 48 hours.

The first appointment was not good. They had wrong paperwork (their fault) didnt apologize or try to fit me in for an earlier time.

Yesterday I had a ct scan with contrast and it was the most calming and comfortable experience. The tech did not make me put a gown on and just had me slip my bra off under my clothes. Then she put a blanket over me as I laid down on the bed and she just said now slip your shorts down to your knees. Boom! Clothes in and warm! She was the sweetest ct tech ever! Wish I would have gotten her name! I will go back there again for sure!!🙂

From triage to the exam, they were really pleasant. The exam omg tech explained the process and even follow up, if necessary. She was very gentle and kind. It really helped my nerves as this was the first for this procedure.

Took two hours to be seen for an appointment scheduled at 10 am. Was told I was the next appointment but waited another 30 minutes to be seen. Do not go here if you want to be seen on time.

This center was terrific! The greeter was warm and the process was very organized. The center was also very clean and nice. The best thing about it, though, is the staff. They were all very warm and the doctor spent a lot of time with me, making sure I knew what was happening every step of the way and explaining the results. We arrived over an hour before Saturday closing for an x-ray. You cant make an appointment or we would have. We were told that there were too many people ahead of us and that they wont be able to see us. Either allow appointments for x rays or come up with a better way to see patients efficiently. A total waste of time especially considering there is no way of planning around it.

The worst, you need better management! You have elderly patients waiting outside in the cold, my mother is disabled and I had to drop her off by the door and I had to park on the other side of the building to walk back to find my mother standing outside in the cold! NO ONE INFORMED ME THAT THERE IS A DIFFERENT CHECKIN PROCESS AND THE SIGN YOU HAVE TUCKED IN A CORNER IS NOT VISIBLE!I will spend my money elsewhere!

I am extremely clausterphobic the nurse made sure she explained everything to me and kept talking to me the whole time letting me know how much longer I had left! She was amazing and I will come back here always

Other than the check in process, this was the worst experience I’ve had thus far at this location. I called last week to schedule an Appt for an x ray of my cervical spine. I was told no appointment was needed, and that I could walk in. I was officially checked in at 8:19. Lots of people came in behind me, and were seen within 10 minutes while I continued to sit. I finally asked for help. The person that checked me in came out to ask what was going on, as the other receptionist was not helpful, and honestly didn’t care that I literally waited AN HOUR to be seen for an x ray that took less than 5 minutes. AN ENTIRE HOUR! The female tech was not friendly at all. I am very displeased with the service, and no one should have to wait an hour for an x ray. That was a complete waste of time, and threw my schedule off the rest of the day. Not to mention it is extremely uncomfortable for me to sit in a chair for an hour after having cervical spine surgery.

New check in process needs to improve. I arrived at 4:19 and followed the instructions given by the young lady at the desk. She said someone was going to call me to the station to get checked in. I waited until 5:00 and my daughter went to the window to see what was going on since the gentleman that came after me was called back. I understand stand waiting my turn but no one ever called me to get checked in until my daughter complained. Either your process needs to change or your employees need better training. I come here for all my tests and I have never had an issue before today.

My appointment was for 1pm, I was there a half hour earlier to keep things on time. I didnt get asked to come in until 1:15pm. Did check in and sat and waited to be called back. 40 or so minutes of waiting and I was called back to desk and asked if I had a blood test prior to procedure. This was never mentioned when setting up the appointment. After a quick scramble to reach my hematologist for my last blood results, more waiting. While waiting another customer was complaining loudly that she was waiting for hour to be taken back for her test. Not sure what is going on. Not to mention the test orders said CT w/wo IV contrast. When scheduling my test I was told I had to drink barium solution. I had to reach out to my doctor who said I didnt need that, the order said IV contrast.

The folks who work there (most of them) do a great job. Its the patients coming in for appointments that are a problem. Visitors (ppl w/o appointments) pulling their mask down to talk on their cell phones, not enough social distancing. Its the other ppl there who are a problem.

I had a very efficient experience! I was in and out in an hour for both my DEXA and mammogram and the technicians were polite and patiently explained the steps involved with my scans. The protocols for COVID are followed, so as a result, you have to wait outside the AR building until you are cleared to go in, which is tough for people who are not feeling well, can not tolerate very hot air temperatures or are elderly, and I wish there was something that could be done to remedy that situation. However, my overall opinion is that Advanced Radiology of Ellicott City Maryland is a very good place to come for X-rays and other imaging procedures!
