We have used Clean As A Whistle weekly for 30 years. What a pleasure to come home to a spotless home, especially the bathrooms and kitchen! Carol does a thorough job and goes above and beyond to help us prepare for guests. She is like a member of our family.

I cannot recommend Clean as a Whistle. My cleaning experience was average - but the amount of damage was above normal. I never reported the small items broken, bangs to furniture or walls, and even small (several inches) scratches on the floor because I know stuff happens when you are lugging heavy equipment around. During my last clean, however, a long (about 8 feet) curvy scratch appeared on my hardwood floor. I was home when the cleaners came and noticed the scratch before they left - it absolutely was not there before they came. It would be impossible to miss. I live alone - it was just the cleaners and me.This seemed beyond expected damage and was too much to ignore. The business owner, Lynn Smith, sent two floor repair people to look at it. They both thought that a significant amount of work was needed to make it right. I was hoping we could find a way to do an acceptable repair without the kind of work the two repair people recommended. However, when Ms. Smith called me, her view was that she was NOT responsible for any repair - her employees said they only used a Swiffer and a vacuum and the repair people said there is no way a Swiffer or a vacuum cleaner could do this. Of course the repair people never saw the items that my cleaners used. Nor did Ms. Smith. Something caught in the Swiffer? a loose screw in a vacuum? - something made that scratch, but according to Ms. Smith it could not have been her cleaners.Ms. Smith asked me to consider her position - a client could tell her about ANY damage and claim that her cleaners were responsible. The implication - I am a dishonest person trying to take advantage of her to escape the penalty for my own carelessness. And thus added insult to injury! There are many more cleaning services available that are at least up to the quality level of Clean as a Whistle, and ones hopes that the others take responsibility for their mistakes.

A little worried about gushing over how great this company is - dont want them to get too busy for me. I have to say - home has never been cleaner. By far, the best service in the industry.
