Definitely is bad people, tools are good but they charge for non sharpened chisel and the personal don’t have idea of tools

On Thursday May 18, 2018 I was shopping for Stain had been to the Home Depot Store on Liberty Rd the night before and was never asked if we needed any help although we did see several store associates, I made a purchase and it wasnt the right stain. I am so glad I choose to go out Route 40 last evening because Terri in the paint department was the Best Associate I have had in years. Ms Terri didnt stop until we matched the color we needed and was able to tint an Oops paint to the perfect color even though it was a base 2 she knew what to do to get the color we needed. Thanks again Ms Terri just wish we had more like her. Also the young lady at the returns register was very patient with the customer before me who had her on the phone calling around asking for an extended PROMO deal and was nice when she got to me.

So Im a bored college student who, over the summer, decided to get crafty. I go in there about once a week for new tools, supplies, etc. and each time I have gone in there I am warmly greeted by every employee I pass, I am asked if I need help almost right away and I am always taken directly to what I need. Today I went in, its an early Monday morning, and not only did everyone there seem extra friendly and nice but it was even better to note that it seemed genuine and not like they were forced to say something to me. I love it here!

I called to ask if an item was in stock that had been out of stock the previous week. I got a recording saying how important my call was to them and was on hold for 12 minutes. Occasionally, a pleasant sounding lady would come on and say the department I wanted was still busy. After the 12 minutes, my call was dropped. I called back, eventually got the pleasant lady again, and she said she would use the overhead speaker to call my department. I held for 7 minutes before getting dropped again. So frustrating. I dont want to make a trip there to find out they dont have it. How busy could they be at 8:30 on a cloudy Sunday morning?

Its convenient, has a lot of stuff. I like walking around looking at all the different things they have.

Wide array of tools and supplies. Very good about returns, so I over-buy if there is any question about how much or what I need. Staff usually doesnt know how to help with questions, so go in knowing what you need. Key cutting machine can duplicate vehicle keys as well. Plenty of parking.

This store lacks total customer service. They have no capabilities in the appliance department to get any order correct and could care less about making it right. No value for their customers. We wont go back

Dont rent chain saws from this place. They dont replace bars,only sharpen chains when servicing. Rented one and wouldnt cut straight due bad bar.

EGo lawn mower repair - took months, not because it was hard, just because they are super disorganized and as such - slower than I could have possibly imagined. I got a different status every time I called for an update. Seeing them in action its no wonder. Will never come here again.

Watched a guy steal something and run out the door as the staff stood their bewildered. I think this store needs Corporate to come in and do some retraining. They employees need to work in different areas as well as some sort of memorization of products, asking anyone in the store for directions to a product is going to garner you 10 different answers or mostly I dont knows every time. The moral of workers is definitely low and their is an obvious disconnect between management and the staff. The store is very poorly cleaned and organized and only a few workers take pride in their section and bother picking it up throughout their shift. Missing the mark in this store.

Generally, the people here are very nice. This is probably the best HD in the area. Although lately theyve been getting stricter with their military discount.

I love the kids workshop, I have not patronage the adult ones though. I usually have to hunt for help, although they do a good job assisting you once you catch someone

They have a good selection of tools fir a lot of do it yourself type of projects. The rep was very helpful.

Got some new ceramic tiles from here. The staff went and beyond and helped me from Start to finish. Brought down the pallett and loaded in the car. Even did a price match for an item that they had run out of.

If you need something, go to Emily at the service desk. Shell walk you to the product youre looking for or find someone who knows where it is. Ive lost track of the number of times the floor people have blown me off when trying to find something. The last thing I want to hear is, We dont sell that when I KNOW they do. Ive found a few good employees here, but most seem to find it a bother when they actually have to do some work. Damn shame when you have to interrupt their conversation about yesterdays football game to actually help someone buy something.Anybody else remember when HD had professionals in every section, not just reluctant salespeople?

Awful, the salespeople were nice enough but incompetent. They failed to order the correct product and gave us misinformation about haveing measurements taken. Then, when I called to discuss it with the manager, he said hed call back once he got to the bottom of the issue the next day and we never heard back. Wow. Wow. Wow.Just goes to show that Lowes really does have better customer service, or at least care about selling products.

Would not recommend this location to anyway. The customer service is absolutely terrible. Been to this store multiple times and from the beginning every single time the cashier has had an attitude for no reason. When the manager was called to resolve an issue, they also had an attitude towards us. Will not be returning to this store.

Im surprised at all the negative reviews. This HD location is the best Ive been to, and most encounters have been very positive. Many of the people who work there are highly knowledgeable and all are friendly. One man who helped me was a retired engineer. Multiple times employees have gone to the computer to research products when they did not know the answer to my questions. Ive had good experiences renting equipment, too. The employees have been helpful explaining the various power tools and making suggestions.There are only a couple of areas where my experiences havent been totally positive. One, it can often take a long time to find someone to help with cutting lumber. Also, we had our kitchen remodelled through them. It was about 11 years ago, so things might have changed. The in-store personnel were knowledgeable and helpful, but we had problems with the contractor. He was not a HD employee, but they hired him for the installation. After a little unpleasantness and some delays, the installation was fine. HD did intervene on our behalf in dealing with the contractor. Given the realities of what retailing shopping is like everywhere, Im still giving the store five stars.

The tool rental department has severe shortage of staff, i had to come back for a second time to pick up my tools because the waiting time was unacceptably long. The hold time on the phone is even worse. Home depot must hire additional staff to accommodate customer needs.

Highly advise not purchasing any flooring from Home Depot. Paid for carpet and baseboard; Took several hours and trips to the store; Almost a month since I paid and the job is still not done. Home Depot will burn your vacation days, waste your time, waste your money and wont own up to their mistakes. Several hours were spent trying to get the order right. Associate couldnt make changes and had to call someone else. Each time she called it took 20-30mins to make the changes. She had to call 3 different times. Im about to finalize and baseboards not on the order. Im informed they dont do baseboards. I leave at this point. Another sales person calls me and squares everything away, including baseboards. I pick up the baseboard few days before carpet is installed. Carpet is installed but not the baseboards. Contractor informs me there isnt enough baseboards. I call HD, HD manager tells me I informed them wrong amount upon check out and that I signed the contract. I told the employee the WHOLE BASEMENT, numerous times when getting the carpet installed and the contract was finalized over the phone and no signature was provided. Im being told now that I have to pay for additional baseboard. Almost a month later and 4 different contractors, and two vacation days wasted the baseboards are still not installed. Still waiting to hear back from HD management.

The staff actually takes the time to talk with you and help you out. It was refreshing to know that they werent trying to rush you out.

Usually have what I need, at a price Im willing to pay! Only complaint is the wait at times.

No longer take Debit card for rentals...Even Enterprise Rental takes a debit on a $50k suv! just inconvienant when you dont use credit cards

I have shopped at this Home Depot many times. I try to go to the Clarks down the street, but HD has a lot more items that I need sometimes, like drywall and flooring. Anyway, I have had mixed experiences at this HD. I usually know exactly what I am going in for, so it isnt an issue to shop there and not get any quality help. However, last Saturday I walked into HD and I actually needed help this time. I walk in and about 5 employees were standing near the entrance, every single one avoided eye contact or walked the other way. About 30 seconds after walking in I see an older lady who works there that seems competent, she was with a customer on the phone and put them on hold to look at something on the shelf. I asked her if she could help me, (I know she was helping someone on the phone and I didnt mind waiting for a couple more minutes). She actually said I am busy right now, you need to go find someone else! Who else is there, everyone else was apparently AVOIDING ME!Dont get me wrong, I have had two experiences at this HD were both employees really helped me and knew what they were talking about, but after last weekend, I am only going to HD when I absolutely have too. Clarks is my first stop for now on. I can brush off people avoiding me, I kind of expect that at HD, but when you are blatantly rude to me, I dont want to give you my business anymore.

Some of the employees are very friendly and helpful while others are less so.

Renting truck is more expensive in home depot than Lowes. The customers have to pay tax, the 50$ deposite and refill gas.

Rented a shop vac and wasnt provided filters by the associate. If I had known I needed to check, wouldve saved myself an afternoon of blowing dust everywhere.

Rented a circular saw and salesperson failed to check if the blade was dull. An hour round trip later had to come back for a new blade. They didnt charge me for that time of course but attention to detail is not their strong suit.

This is the one most horrible place that never been in home depot . a customer service is bad . i try to ask where they put their stuff at . but i havent start ask him a question yet but he look at me like stupid . and he ask me first . and he told to find somebody else to help me . im like really ?
