They had a bad attitude and didnt use aseptic technique when doing the blood draw. They also used a larger gauge needle than necessary. Im an easy stick and they fished and blew out my vein for no reason and Im totally bruised and the site is painful. They are terrible.

Sareema was fantastic! I have bloodwork done routinely and have small, difficult veins. Most often, I suggest my hands just to avoid being pricked so many times. This wonderful lady was one and done and I barely had time to explain that my veins would give her trouble. I will be looking for her for my next visit.

For the last 10 years I have blood work done at the Ellicott City location for my doctor annually, and other times the need may arise. This is by far one of the best lab locations Ive ever been to. They open on time, and the office is always clean.The ladies who run this location are professional, respectful, and caring. More importantly, a few of them have worked this location for many years, and experienced at what they do.

HORRIBLE! I checked in at the kiosk. Was in here over an HOUR before they called me to the window to verify my info. This place is like this alllll the time. They either need better staffing or better time/people management because this is not a one off. How can your wait times be consistently horrendous? Someone at corporate needs to set up some kind of timing tracker that tracks how long it’s taking them to see patients from the time they walk in the door to when blood is actually drawn.

As long as you get there when they open if you have the ability its a quick easy in and out. Always remember to bring your doctors orders with their information on it. I had a great tech, I have deep veins that roll and can be an issue.

Staff were friendly overall, and Phlebotomist talent is the reason this rating I considered a 2 instead of a 1. However overall cleanliness forced me to rate a 1, and I will be contacting the county to request an inspection of the facility.Desk staff not as professional and knowledgeable as they could be, and I saw one staff member remove their mask as they were preparing food in an adjacent room. There were cups for clean and dirty pens visible, however desk staff has noticably dirty fingernails.Phlebotomist was quick, professional, and did a great job.However... the blood draw area was visibly dirty, vinyl arm rests on char were cracked and torn. The floor and cabinets were dirty. I also did not feel like the vials were sanitary as they were uncovered and surfaces of tray were worn and not visibly clean.

I went with my daughter, everyone was really polite and helpful. I really appreciate their services. The Lab technician Kathy and Angie. Very nice and efficient.God Bless them.

Ive waited in doctors offices for lengthy periods of time but this was ridiculous. The staff were sitting around chatting and completely ignoring the people who came to the window to ask questions. Everyone was incredibly rude and lazy. I suggest going to the location in Columbia because the staff are far more efficient and helpful.

I hate giving blood for tests but this was a 10/10 experience. Needles suck but the nurse I had was amazing. Took 15 minutes total time, granted I went in at 8am on a Monday.

Customer service and professionalism lacks. Unfortunately this is a health facility and communication in a respectful and timely manner should be a standard. Extreme disappointment with the lack of customer service. If I could give no stars, I would in hopes of some corrective action.

I am a person who does not do well having my blood drawn, however Ester took care of me today and she was wonderful. She was fast, efficient, and very nice. I told her about my past issues with getting light headed and almost passing out. I am grateful to her that none of that happened today. Thank you again Ester!

This location has very rude employees. I entered their building one afternoon and was barely acknowledged. The person behind the counter continued her conversation with another employee while she looked up at me and took my paper. She then waved her hand towards the right without explaining what I was to do. I had to clarify everything she said. I.e. do I come back now? When I came back she motioned that I could sit in the seat across from the empty computer. I waited there while she got my needed supplies. I was doing a time critical lab, and when I returned two days later they had locked their doors early, before the 4pm closing time. I was unable to complete my lab appropriately. I will not be returning to this location. As a medical professional, I am very disappointed in the quality of customer service seen here.

No one was at the reception desk today when I went in and I did have to call hello a few times before someone appeared to help me. Other than that I have no complaints and everyone has always been polite and efficient.

Worst customer service ever. Won’t even listen to you when THEY made a mistake and did the wrong blood work. Had to argue with them and call my doctor to tell them they did the wrong blood work so they can finally listen. On top of that, the arm they took my blood out bruised the area very badly and caused a huge portion to become all black, purple green and yellow. Never experienced that before with other lab corps. Also, the receptionist is SO SO rude. Worst lab Corp out there and SO unprofessional.

Had a very nice experience here thanks to Chanel (not sure how to spell her name) who did a blood draw for my toddler. She was so friendly, full of smiles, and gave him stickers before and after, trying to make him feel as comfortable as possible. She got his vein on the first try even though he is chubby, and that was a huge relief! Ask for her if you need a blood draw for your child!

Terrible.I scheduled and appointment for my 2 year old. Showed up 10 minutes before my appointment. Used the self check in and waited. And waited. And waited. 17 minutes aftwr my appointment the woman at the desk calls me up to get the lab slip and his insurance card. Another 8 minutes latwr they finally call us back. No appolgy. No sorry for the wait. Nothing.Avoid this location.

The receptionist is not friendly and does not have any flexibility. She even did know how long the lap work will take. Thats why their waiting line is always long and patients are exhausted. Whenever I visit, I have to spend more than. 2 hours at least. Terrible!!terrible!!terrible!! Even one star is not worthy for here.

I was so happy with my visit at this location. I work 8am-6pm and needed to take a 1 hour test for my pregnancy, worried I was going to need to miss some work I called ahead to schedule my appointment. I was able to get the first slot, reminded them that i was in a little rush, and they got me in and out so fast. Everyone was so friendly, and clean! I have been to different labcorp location and they are a mess, but this one was spotless. I dont mind driving the extra 15minutes to come back to this labcorp again.

When requiring a blood draw for tests (@ Dorsey Search), I found the facility unusually cold, which contributed to my being a harder case than usual (tiny rolling veins, Im a specific arm, specific needle). I sat under a vent that blew cold air directly on me. The technicians said yeah we KNOW, they wore JACKETS, sweats jacket, jeans jacket. But no one could raise the AC temperature. It took three technicians and three sticks to retrieve my blood; I was there over an hour freezing. They said they needed FIVE vials just to be sure; I begged them to remove one blood test and take four; not possible. I said so you will throw away those vials after all Ive gone through if you dont get another vial? Yes, they said. I came home with two hematomas. Five days later, one is still large and purple. Finally, it was very important for me to get one of the results before the weekend; no problem I was told, if you log onto your account. Not so. The results were not available in 48 hours (Fri.) as promised. I got them today, the same day I got the mail copy. Needless to say, I dont plan to go back to this facility.

I have difficult-to-find veins and had been afraid to come here based on some of the reviews but had a great experience. I checked in on the electronic station and the wait time was under 15 min on a weekday morning. I mentioned my veins are difficult to find and that some of the tests required special procedures. The lab tester made sure to tap on my inner elbow to find/choose the vein and check the procedures before beginning drawing blood. The tester found the right placement for the needle on the first try and drew all 8 vials of blood from the same puncture so that I did not have to have multiple punctures. She covered up the needle with gauze piece so that I would not see the needle poking my arm. I prefer being able to see where my arm is getting poked by the needle but thankfully I did not get unduly injured, and I guess it was less scary that I could not see exactly where the needle was sticking into my arm. I was finished in less than half an hour from when I arrived to when I left, and was left with only a tiny picture wound on my arm with almost no bleeding.If you are fasting beforehand, consider bringing yourself something to eat afterwards (grapes, foods high in iron) and take some vitamins and supplements right afterwards that will help the body to heal.

Needs more people, less automated systems. The lab requires you to sign in on a computer system. I saw several elderly people struggle with little or no help from the staff. Additionally, I was requested to make an appointment for a sample drop off (which seems ridiculous to start with).i spent 20 min on the phone system and then computer log in, both of which had broken links. I’m very upset that my insurance makes me use this lab with it’s horrid customer service.
