My appointment was made with a time suitable for me to drop off my car. My new tires were installed and I was able to pick up me car at my convenience. The gentleman who waited on me was very nice. He gave me price options when ordering my new tires and called me to let me know they were delivered. I will definitely take my car here again.

I have used this location for many years. A recent alternator repair (October 2020) caused other issues which stopped my battery from charging properly. I went to the shop about my concern a few months ago and was told they didn’t see anything wrong. I have had my battery shut down two times in the last month. When I called about needing to bring my car in, I was put on hold at least 3 times and had to get my car towed to another location. The alternator is the issue and the warranty on service should still be active but at this point I don’t know if anyone will answer. A staff member named Leo was the first person in over 10 years to cause me to write a bad review, particularly after he knew I was just trying to get my stranded vehicle to the place who should be responsible for the repairs. I have paid for a new battery and will have to pay for diagnostics and services over and above what I should have. The alternator was not good quality and Meineke is leaving me stranded on the repairs I paid for.

The team at Meineke was fantastic! I took my husbands truck there for a wheel alignment, tire balance/rotation, and a tightening of the emergency break. Rich was wonderful and brought me some buckets to use as my desk while I worked from the lobby. The technician was thorough and was sure to explain to me exactly what was done to with the emergency break. I will definitely be back with our other vehicle for maintenance!

I had a great experience getting oil change and tire rotation. Rich is friendly, kind and helpful. The car sent in to get the oil change as my appointment. The price is reasonable. After the work done, he checked my car and took care of it with a reasonable price. I will recommend it to my friend.

I called towards the end of the day asking about brake and rotor replacement. They hustled to get the parts delivered and completed the replacement VERY quickly. I was impressed by the whole team’s hard work. They could have easily just said to come the next day like the 4 other places I called before them.

I had a great experience with my oil change today. Rich is friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I had a Groupon and booked the appointment ahead of time. The person on the phone mentioned right then and there what the price would be (including discount), and Rich said the same thing when I came in today (and didn’t try to sell me on other services that I didn’t need). After the service was done he talked me through exactly what was done, the cost of each individual service, and showed how the final bill came to be (which was the same amount mentioned in my phone call). I will definitely recommend Meineke to anyone looking for good service from good people at a good price.

The customer service was good. They we’re very helpful and kind. They were kind of enough to show me quotes of everything that needed to be fixed before they could check my alignment. I later on did some research, and found out that what they were charging me for parts was far more expensive than if I get the parts myself. I know this usually the case for these type of places but the price difference was crazy. If you go there I say just go for simple things and try to work on your car yourself or have friend do it for cheap.

I had a great experience there yesterday. I was able to get an early appointment before work. I went there because I had a Groupon deal for an oil change and tire rotation. Rich was nice and friendly, suggested a close by Coffee shop while I wait, I needed coffee. He also was nice enough to educate me on tire rotation, which I was glad to have if I had the time. I little hard to find but worth the visit. Steve was considerate and professional and the work done quickly. I needed to replace a tire and he and the staff had it ordered and done the same day. For the replacement they had it done in under 30 minutes.

I arrived for my appointment to get the same oil change I’ve paid for multiple times at not only this location but other meinekes in my area. I spoke with the store manager, Rick, who informed me that my regular semi synthetic oil change was no longer going to be possible since my car now magically needed full synthetic. He continued to cite policy and reasons why the same oil change I’ve been getting for years, and with his company, is no longer possible or he is liable for my entire engine. He continued to inform me of the additional charges that would be levied against me to achieve the service requested and seemed to enjoy being able to nickle and dime me over the added costs to things. Now after this, he took my key and told me i would be done in 30 minutes. I didn’t sign anything giving him permission to work on my car which seemed odd given how concerned he was about liability that he would overlook his ability to cover himself in that way. Additionally the mechanics that works on my car made adjustments to my seating, heating and cooling, and radio that just seemed targeted at me because i had raised some concerns about being over charged. Upon picking up the vehicle i also noticed that my tires were not rotated which is a part of the service that i paid for. This level of service is highly unacceptable. I will be sharing this review across other platforms as well to ensure that other people are aware of the poor service and manipulative tactics employed by this location.

I had such a great experience getting my oil change and tire rotation. As soon as I walked in, I got a warm greeting and began checking in immediately. A few founds of waiting and playing candy crush letter, my car was done! The whole thing took less than 45 mins. The staff is super friendly - definitely would recommend!

This was my first time going there I didnt want to stay two hours and the guy had to order a part for my car but I got out at 11 a.m. that was good because he squeezed me in Saturday morning at 8 appointment

After I was told by my local Meineke dealer in Ellicott City, MD that my Trucks idler arm needed to be replaced at a charge of $450.00 I decided to first check out how expensive was this part. After I learned that the part only cost ~$30.00 I decided to get a second quote to replace this part from your nearby competitor, MR. TIRE. Imagine my surprise when they told me that despite a little rust, which they quickly dissolved with a spray of anti-rust solution, that part and, in fact, all of the parts of my suspension were in good working order and NONE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED!! Wow, imagine my relief that I just saved myself $450.00 in an unnecessary repair. To say the least I will not be returning to that Meineke Store again!

Ive brought my cars to this location for years and the service has always been great - on time and reasonably priced. The waiting room is now open for customers but McDonalds is also right across the street. Rich found me discounts on all the services my car required (brakes, fluids flush) and the lifetime warranty on brake parts is pretty amazing.

The customer service was outstanding. I do feel however that the cost was too high. $1,069 for front brake replacement seems excessive. I checked with some other local shops and they share my opinion.

Rich Seymour took care of a problem that I had underneath the front part of my car. A piece of hard plastic was loose and it was touching the ground while I was driving. He cut off the piece on the spot, thus eliminating the problem and didnt charge me anything for it. He is a very nice guy eager to help. I just moved to Maryland and I am going to be a customer of this business from now on,

I brought my car in for some exhaust work. The technician and person at the desk were both very polite and professional. My car needed a complete exhaust system replacement. They tried very hard to find a replacement system, but was unable to due to my specific application. Although I did not purchase anything from them I was impressed with their professionalism and desire to do right by me. I would certainly return to use this business in the future.

After recently moving to the area, I was in search of a trustworthy, knowledgeable and dependable mechanic to build a relationship with for when my car needed servicing. Im sad to say I dont think this will be the area Meineke shops. Ive had lackluster experience with Meineke in other areas but I was hoping this might be different.I took my vehicle in for both an oil change and wheel alignment. Normally I would do the oil change myself but given I was already going in for the Alignment I figured what the heck -- plus I had a noticed a groupon that offered some savings off the oil change.Now I know the groupon states that there may be extra charges and fees, but I didnt expect the price to DOUBLE! I was disappointed with the extremely high markup on the required extras and the lack of an itemized receipt outlining those extras and their charges. Honestly, even as I look at the paperwork today the breakdown of extras is not listed and the receipt really makes very little sense. STRIKE 1Dependability: Upon arrival the clerk said the work should take about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. I joked and said ok thanks, I guess Ill be eating a lot of McDonalds across the street. It was 90+ degrees outside and the AC in the lobby was barely working so it wasnt fun walking around for 2 1/2 hours but it is what it is. Upon arriving back after 2 1/2 hours I saw the Mechanic texting on his phone with my car hood still up. The clerk informed me Oh we didnt have the oil filter so we had to send out for it, it’s not here yet... The strange thing is, I sat outside the shop since I was told that and never saw anyone additional come or go up until the time my car was ready. Did they even really replace the filter? Odd but I’m not taking apart the filter to see if it looks new or not, not worth it. What bothers me however is why couldnt they tell me when I dropped the car off that the filter wasnt in stock!?!? STRIKE 2Now for the kicker, upon checkout I asked for the statistics on my wheel alignment. For those that arent aware, it’s a standard industry practice to provide the customer with a printout of the alignment specs both before and after the work is performed. I was given some excuse about how the machine was out of order or the printer didnt work. I was already doubting if any work had actually been done given the mechanic was lounging in a chair texting when I arrived, And now this?!? Rightfully so, my suspicions were running high. So I said if the printer isnt working can you at least write down the numbers for me on a piece of paper? Again, I was given some excuse that wasnt really all that coherent, but the answer was no, the statistics were not available. Honestly I felt like I was forced to pay for something I didnt fully recieve. STRIKE 3I tried to engage the Manager in productive conversation but I still left the shop feeling as if I had wasted my time and money (I forget his name, he made the point to tell me his name was not the name that was on his shirt because he spilled oil all over it).Choosing a trustworthy, dependable, and knowledgeable mechanic is tricky and not easy business -- but for me -- the search continues.

I’ve been using this location exclusively for their Groupon for over 3 years. They are under new management and things are pretty messy there now. They refused to use the Groupon I paid for and it seems pretty disorganized there when it comes to billing. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I got quoted $70 for an oil change, which was already absurd. I use to work at a truck stop so I know with oil changes you always change the filter and those type of services are a flat fee. The mechanic himself was very nice that’s why I gave 2 stars instead of one. When it came time to check out, all of a sudden my flat fee of $70 came up to $88.28. I have NEVER paid $88 for an oil change. He tried to say I needed a filter, which should have been included and if it weren’t, I should have been asked whether I wanted it or not. Instead of arguing with them, I decided to pay the bill and leave this review instead. I don’t know if it’s because of Covid or business is slow, but don’t allow them to rip you off. Yes they were nice, but they know and I know, they charged me extra. But the goal is to keep people coming back, and that won’t happen.Mind you I’ve been with Meineke for years but at a different location (there is one in patapsco that is Amazing) I thought since I moved, I could just come here, but never again.

My appt was scheduled for 1pm and I was running a little behind so I called to let them know. Spoke with Jordan and he was extremely polite, professional and has a excellent speaking voice! He reassured me that it was fine. Arrived at the shop and they already had seating set up outside for customers that would have to wait which I really loved! I was greeted by Jordan with a very warm and welcoming smile and he let me know that my car would be done shortly. My wait was not very long which was amazing! He was very informative about my what I would need for my car in the next few weeks. He was relaxed, confident and very honest which I appreciated and it went to show he went above and beyond! His customer service was excellent and I would HIGHLY recommend people to go and have their car serviced there. Great thing is you can make your appt online! Great Job! :-)

This place started off to be a really good place to go they change managers just like they change tires and the people they have in there now do not have any idea on how to complete a job I went in for a simple oil change tire rotation at a.m. to my tires to make them equal factory specs I came in I think I got a oil change I definitely didn’t get my tires rotated and they definitely didn’t put air in the car they didn’t even know how to set the gauge back on the oil change. I think they need to bring business back into their business it seems more like a “backyard” shop than a Meineke Business

Definitely I don’t have good experience going there, I feel they charge more price for basic parts and missing some of the basic things. As a customer you feel that things should be handled a good way/ professional way as we leave the vehicle in there , with the pandemic situation you can’t wait in there while your car is getting serviced. I expect them to do a thorough work, but they missed some basic things , I need to remind them to get it done.

The manager there (Rich) was very professional and courteous. I had went there before for muffler work and had the same experience. I would recommend using this location for your auto needs. Long wait times :-They took 3 hours to change my tires, even though I had called the day before, and scheduled an appointment.The manager at the desk said that they could not find my appointment, because , whoever talked to me over the phone the day before, had not entered it into the computer.I was not happy with this. Due to the delay, I declined the alignment service .

Very fast oil change! The service was excellent!

Splash guard came out and was dragging along the road on my way back home. It was very stressful to stop by in the middle of the road and go under the car to hold them tight to reach my destination. I was asked to come back to get the issue fixed but decided to go by a Meineke outlet near by my house. They need to ensure that it is screwed in properly when they complete the oil change and avoid any inconvenience.

Got there at 7:30am. Was the first appointment. When I made my appointment over the phone due to covid no one said it was no chair in the lobby so when I got my vehicle service I was standing up me and two kids. Which wasn’t a problem for myself and my 12 year old but my 4 year old had issues. WhileCustomer would come in we would have to go outside in the cold due to covid. The gentleman said my vehicle would take an hour. And it took two hours

I paid $50 for a diagnosis test and they told me nothing I could have heard for free at any other shop. If they can’t accurately diagnose after not even an hour looking at the car, why still charge me?

Lets start this way, I used to go to Meineke when I resides at IL, since I moved to MD I have to admit that Ive never been to Meineke and this is the first visit since I moved. I always had pleasant experience with this franchise at the past.Now lets move to the todays incident. I bought the synthetic oil and tire rotation from groupon (which has filter as well in the advertisement). So the guy at the front desk asked me additional $16.61 on top of the groupon offer, I said its been all paid off, he says it mentioned the additional fees on the listings. I questioned him what is the additional fees? never heard of them, since I had three Toyotas for my entire families and needed oil change every two months at least. He said the additional fees are for cap of the air filter (god knows), when I finally looked at the entire bill, the charges was listed as such, Disposable fee-4.95, Oil Filter up charge 8.00 and labor 4.95.Seriously? never had any breakdowns of disposable fee when I go for oil change, no labor cause that is always included, and god knows what is Filter up charge since I already paid for that.The best of best was, The mechanic did not rotate my tires which I paid for, that was done before 12K, I told them, well their response was it is recommended that they are good as it is. I said the front desk guy I paid for the rotation, his response was, well that is not charged , thats comes free. Well never heard of any extra fees when you buy oil change and never paid extra labor charge, but tire rotation doesnt cost labor, it is free.There is something called integrity in business, and do not assume you can say whatever you feel ok and customer will agreed upon. And I never had dull moment with Meineke in the past, but this was by far the worst of all.

The mechanics knew how to repair the issue when I dropped off the vehicle and spoke with them about it. They understood the challenges with the repair and provided realistic expectations for the estimate, as well as possible outcomes if issues arose. The final invoice came in more than 50% less than what the dealership quoted me.

The guy was really nice, they changed my oil and rotated my tires. In the two and a half hours it took them to do my oil change, the Jiffy Lube around the corner got two cars done, couldve been three if they had the customers. I couldve been in and out of Jiffy Lube in 20mins. Instead I waited over two hours.
