I called Home Instead on a Saturday they had a staff member in my FathersHome the next day. They took care of billing the insurance claims, provided 24 hour care for Dad and assisted Mom during her time of need.The staff and service of Home Instead was outstanding!

Very pleased with the overall experience. Seemed very concerned about my physical space and how it relates to my home therapy and overall safety. Also, checked up on me and wanted to know if my pain and movement is going well. Overall, impressed and highly recommend unity health and home care for all post operations needs.

I was impressed that they come to your home to look around to make sure you will be safe after surgery. Then they come the day you go home from surgery to make sure you did what needed to be done and to make sure I was good. Then they call the next day to see how you are doing and call one more time to see how your doing. Very nice!

My Dad recently passed away but for his last few months on earth he was blessed with the love and care from Home Instead . Not only did they care for him very well, but they supported my Mom with housework, cooking and companionship. Laurie and Stephanie went above and beyond to engage my Dad with activities, bring special projects to work on with him, and make my Mom feel appreciated and even bring joy in the hard times. Laurie even attended my Dads funeral which touched my Moms heart so much . Thank you for all you did to make a really hard time easier on for our entire family .

Tom Beck was very helpful with my discharge. I could not get out of the surgery center until after 11:00. He and is trainee were very patient with me and kept checking on my progress. They were also helpful when I got home. Melissa Fulkerson came the next day and was helpful with my bandage care. Both of these employees were extremely professional.

The Home Instead nurses are very knowledgeable and helpful. Very professional and help you with any problems that you may have.

What can I say about Home Instead. Kaylee called and introduced herself came out to the house was on time very pleasant to talk to and we walked through the house together. She went through her check list and made a few recommendations that would better suit me for when I would come home from knee replacement surgery. Kaylee was wonderful. I felt very comfortable with Kaylee and she did a great job of follow up the day after surgery to make sure I knew what to expect and helped me learn to be safe sitting, sleeping, bathing, walking and wound care. I dont think things would of went so smoothly without the help of Home Instead with the care of Kaylee after surgery. Thank you Kaylee for your kind and gentle care you showed for me after major surgery. You were awesome! Don or Dan (dont remember) I only seen him for about 30 min the day of surgery when I got home. I was still under the effects of anesthia and this part of the care is fuzzy. What I do remember though is Dan or Don was waiting at the house when we arrived from the surgery center. He took great care in making sure I got in the house with no trumma or problems. He was very explanatory on how to set up the DVT cuffs and the cold compressor machine. He made sure I was comfortable and also made sure that we understood what Kaylee had discussed with us and what time she would arrive the next day.Home Instead had totally made the 24 hours of outpatient surgery very much less stressful than it would have been without them.The two staff members I had contact with were very personable, professional and knowledgable and I was in great care. I feel it was a great first step into a successful recovery.I would recommend Home Instead to anyone who is having an outpatient major surgery to oversee their first 24 hours at home.Home Instead Rocks and I am very greatful for their service and Staff.Thank you!Tim Barger

For the client, Im sure this is an affordable option and alternative to nursing homes or assisted living housing. However, their worker compensation practices have been sketchy at best hence, a class action lawsuit in the works to rectify these inconsistencies.

I believe Home Instead, to be a great place to work for and to have your loved ones cared for.The schedulers are on the phone constantly letting us care givers know who needs coverage and who is available to care for that client.Care givers are always ready to go meet a client and take care of any needs they have and a lot of them have very interesting past and memories to share with anyone who has time to listen!!!

The caregivers that have been caring for me have been outstanding. My favorite one is Barney! He has brought me up out of a sad state of mind. 👍

The office staff were all very nice but communication was difficult most of the time. My mom specifically requested no young caregivers. I asked for no one under the age of 30 or so because she wasnt comfortable. She often got younger caregivers and we would call the office and ask them not to be sent again because they spent their time on the cell phone or watching T.V. There were a couple no-shows and no one called me to follow-up. While there was a list of things to work on only certain caregivers would take the initiative to do those. Others would simply sit with her and not complete any tasks. Overall, I would likely not use them again.

This has been a very useful service for my recovery, the people have been professional and kind.
