Ive been going to Morris Auto service for 25 years. I keep coming back because of the transparency of the work. They let you know what theyre going to do before they do it. Its also a convenient location in downtown Elkhart.

Its my go to place. Great people and great location. I have never had 1 problem.

I like the way the Secretary is at making the Appointment. The place is run smoothly and the Mechanics are easy to Talk to about the Problems. They do Over 30 point Inspection. I Highly recommend Them Nobodys is Better than the Auto Morris Crews.

My breaks were shot! I was referred to Morris Auto Service by Tom and Pat at Elkhart Hitch, another highly recommend business for all your hitch/trailer/camper towing and lighting needs.Morris took a look at my Explorer and quoted a fair and reasonable price. I gave the go ahead and my SUV was repaired within a few hours! I highly recommend Morris Auto Service and will bring all of our vehicles here for repairs!

I have been using Morris for a while now and Im always impressed. First, they always call with an estimate on how much things will cost. The price is always fair and the work they do is top notch. My daughter is out there for college and her car broke down. Didnt know who to turn to, thanks to reviews we had the car towed to Morris. Yes they are busy but their service was amazing. They quoted my daughter one price and called back and said it was less than quote. Who does that, honest ppl! Thank you for taking care of my daughter and not taking advantage of a student. Amazing and grateful!

Very very impressed. This group was recommended to me by a friend and super glad he did. Cameron was very competent, got me right in, price was good especially considering they were able to fix a sensor that no one else could figure out. He just noticed it was broken and asked me about it and took care of it. I will definitely be using them again!

Charged under quote!I was quoted $160 for transmission oil change on 09 Silverado, charged $106. Plus got a bolt on exhaust, runs a lot better and now its quiet like new again!

Wonderfully honest and helpful. They were my third opinion and they were on the nose with my second opinion. First place I went completely lied and tried to do over $1300 worth of unnecessary work to my vehicle. Cam and his staff are very caring and trust worthy people. They even fixed a small re-seal that was needed and didnt charge me. I will definitely be bringing my Jeep to them when work is needed and recommending them to my family and friends.

There are two places in Elkhart I trust to put hands on my vehicles. This is one of them. One time they looked at a truck of mine, confirmed my suspicions that it was scrap, and didnt charge me a dime. Trust is a hard-earned thing in the world of auto repair, and they have mine.

They were helpful, kind, and quick when I needed the headlight replaced in my Subaru. If you own a Subaru you know how difficult it is to replace headlights....and they did for me in a breeze! Don’t hesitate to go see them!

Havent had any work done with them, however went in to get a quote and they are extremely expensive. $420 labor for 1:30-2:00 hour work (replace a cv axel on small coupe) No thank you

This is the first review I have ever written. I went to Morris auto services after reading the previous review, so I will try to save the next person.I bought a used car and I noticed 3 problems with it in the first few days. The transmission shifted hard, the brakes made noise and water was getting in a headlight.I brought it to Morris and asked them to check those problems and look for any other work that needed to be done. I did not need the car for a month and time was not an issue.They said that the transmission was good. The brakes were good and the noise was from rust on them. Apparently the car had not been driven in a while. Water was getting into the headlight because 3 splash guards were missing. I was told the splash guards would cost 600-800 dollars. I checked online and found them for about 300 with all the parts. They agreed to let me buy them and they put them on for 70 dollars. This was nice of them.It took a couple of weeks for the parts to get there due to an issue with the retailer. They put on the guards, replaced the oil and a belt. This cost 200 dollars. When I went to pick up the car I noticed that someone had hit the car and there was white paint and a large scratch on the headlight and bumper.The manager came out and started talking about how it couldnt be their fault. My friend pointed out how the car parked next to mine had similar damage. Obviously someone had hit both cars. I said that I was not that concerned with it as the car had other dents on it. I could tell that there was no way they would admit that they damaged the cars and fix it otherwise. He agreed to have the paint buffed out.I picked up the car the next day. The paint was gone, bit there were now 2 big spiderwebs of damage and the big scratch. Oh well. After checking the car I noticed I was missing one of the parts I ordered and the headlight still had water in it. Brought it back. He begrudgingly agreed to fix the headlight. Got the car back and took it through the car wash. The check engine light came on and the headlight had water in it. I looked at the engine and noticed the part that brings air to the radiator was missing all of its fasteners. Brought it back. The manager informed me that the check engine light was on the entire time they had the vehicle and the fasteners were also missing.I told him the reason I brought in the car was to have it repaired. He checked the computer and it said the problem was the transmission solenoid. He obviously did not want to have anything to do fixing it. I guess I should bring it to a mechanic then?I went to the auto parts store to get the fasteners. He checked how much was. 486 dollars and you have to take the transmission out of the car to fix it. It really would of been nice to have that fixed during the 4 weeks I didnt need the car.The headlight and transmission problem were not caused by Morris Auto. They are just not good enough mechanics to identify and repair the problems. The damage to the vehicle was caused by them. They should of repaired that completely or done some work of equal value. There is also scratches all over the top of the trunk as well. Either the scratches were already there or mechanics were placing tools and parts on top of it. I am not sure about that. In the end. I had my car there a month, nothing was fixed, and they did 500-1000 dollars of damage to the car. Good times

Went to get fuel pump changed got truck back with hole in tank pouring out fuel if u have a choice i would not recommend this place u get what u pay for 1000 dollars later i got bigger problems then u had before i brought it to them They just kept saying the tank was already cracked when i have never had a drop drip out
