I have Retired working in a factory after 31 years and decided after two years to get back to work. Manpower got me a position with decent pay but the only downside is they don’t want to pay you. after two weeks worth of work I received one days pay for the first week and Shorted me 10 hours my second week. Would love to stay at this job but not working for free. They are giving me the runaround and will not get back to me after numerous attempts of me getting with them to get this settled.They were horrible in the 80s and I see nothing has changed.

Don’t waste your time. Instead of being honest and up front, they just ignore you

I would give one star if at all possible. Mary isn’t professional, doesn’t understand that her tone affects her recruits. Super disrespectful. I’m really disappointed because i had heard that manpower was really good, maybe in louisville but i would avoid the etown branch

I was Leary about working with Manpower due to the poor reviews pertaining to not being paid on time. I took a gamble and began working for them. Guess what? Payday has arrived and I have no money.

The reason why i give then 1 star is because i have been calling for 2 days now looking for work. I have left several messages without a return call back. They are just as bad as big rapids Michigan. If your looking for work I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

If you NEED WORK!!! Id suggest go to the Louisville branch. They will help you. Dont go to the Etown Branch...

I worked with them and always got paid, if I had any issues they answered my calls immediately, and handled it. The on the job representative was absolutely fabulous Miss Vowel... Hard worker, fixed it right away always. As well as Bobby the guy who took my application. I would be glad to continue my job search with them on my side. Keep doing what your doing Manpower. Theyll try to get you working fairly quickly (keyword: TRY) and then take theyre sweet, precious time paying you. I tried to not let negative reviews affect how viewed them. Unfortunately, all the bad things you hear about this place are true. If I could give it a zero, I would. Even one star is too generous for the experience Ive had. I suggest you exhaust your options before committing to work for Manpower. Unless youre cool with working without pay for undetermined amounts of time.

They definitely discriminate. That’s for sure. i’m pregnant and tried to get a job through them. They contacted me immediately until i told them i was pregnant. Instead of ignoring me, just tell me i’m not the right fit for the job. It’s not hard. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Trying to reach someone about employment for my son. Over 10 phone calls during business hours from myself and both my husband and my son himself with no answer. Over a period of a week. At this pont why are they even still open. Will be contacting owner/headquaters. Highly unprofessional and lazy.

I have worked for them on several assignments. So have ample experience to rate Manpower in Etown. To start, they advertise job openings continually yet when you show up in person they claim to never have assignments. Thats not even the biggest problem though. I am writing this review specifically because of how rude and nasty the office manager Mary is. I have never had an issue with anyone but MARY. She will speak rudely and way out of line about ppl she just got of the phone with or ppl that just walked out of the building. She has a major problem assigning females to any assignment that does not involve a desk. The best way to explain the service you will get from MARY at manpower is DMV minus 10. Youd think she has a government job with how unbelievably rude she is to the ppl who actually complete the work they have contracted.

DO NOT WORK THERE had to quit my job this morning because I didnt have the gas to go to work because I was suppose to be paid last week yes LAST WEEK and its been 2 going on 3 now. At first they said my check would be mail then find out it was direct deposited to the wrong account in California so I called and they said they fixed which was a lie I called payroll department and they had to really fix it I was livid to say the least now I gotta wait another week so I worked a month for free basically dont trust them all they do is lie

I have had nothing but a good experience here. The first day I walked in the office everyone greeted me. And I got plenty of apologies that they wouldnt have any new jobs till the following Monday. The day I went back I was treated like an old friend. If I ever need to Id use this temp agency again.

They never answer the phone poor profession

Their checks never hit at the same time every week. Some weeks its there by 7am Thursday, sometimes itll be Saturday before they get around to doing payroll. Extremely unprofessional.

They were rude in the office an only seen one time on the job site. I guess ur first time being a check isnt on time. Im still waiting to get paid by check an my money card was all ready to go. Suppose to be paid Friday but it is Monday now. Im so furious that hard working people dont get paid on time.I was paid to a imaginary account they set up for me. Been on phone most of the morning talking to call centers. Now have to go back to the office an talk to the rude women that dont know how to do anything to try to get paid for my work

Manpower consists of nothing but a bunch of liars. They do not pay their workers on time, especially on the biggest shopping day of the year.

The rudest people I have dealt with in my entire life... they insult everyone after they hang up or leave.. are rude even via email. I brought my autistic son in with me to get a copy of my pay stub..they yelled at him for being loud and referred to him as an it. My advice.. go to another temp service.

Very unprofessional and it takes 15 to 20 minutes for one to get u started on another section to fill out more worried about the video cam for the online facebook page. Its not a place to go.
