Really awesome, professional service! I highly recommend military folks get their haircut here. First time I walked in they were playing Kill Bill and I knew instantly that I’d walked into the right place. The Gray Comb also has a really rad classic monster theme to it as you can tell from the mural by the entrance. I’m a repeat costumer and I won’t let anyone else in the area touch my hair but these guys.

Easy-going atmosphere, good quality haircut. I was initially slightly thrown off by the waiting system but they text you as soon as its your turn and open the door for you.Probably my go-to spot moving forwards.

Great place to get a cut and have a friendly and enjoyable conversation while doing so! The crew has done as best a job with safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The best part about this shop is that it is local and in a perfect location in downtown. The quality of service I have received from my multiple visits is unmatched!

Matt and the other guys are fantastic.

The shop is VERY clean and well organized, the barber that I had gave me exactly the cut that I asked for and the quality is well worth the price. I will go back next time I am in the area. This shop is worth the trip to Etown if you are on Fort Knox.

The best haircuts by even better Barbers. Super friendly atmosphere reminiscent of the barber shop I went to when I was a kid in the 80s. All 3 gents cut hair like they were born with scissors in their hands (probably pretty painful for their mothers) Go there and get a haircut. It will make you a better person.

Great experience and the staff is excellent really nice and funny group of guys. Always take the extra time as well as go the extra mile with your haircut. Kids love this place too i would recommend to anyone looking for a haircut or beard trim.

Perfect spot for an excellent hair cut! Wait times can be a tad bit long but well worth the wait.However the rockabilly / rock decor in the shop and the music or TV playing kept everyone entertained.

I visit every so often to get my hair cut. As a man, there is something to be said for visiting a barber instead of a salon or something like quick cuts.The guys vener make me feel like they are in a rush, and its nice to be in the company of other men and participate in the banter.This was also my first time getting a razor trim up on my beard. I may need to make this my permanent shop!

This place is the best! Friendly atmosphere, all the barbers are skilled so you dont have to wait for the one to be open to get a decent cut, and they are beyond entertaining just being themselves. Their chemistry is great. I drive all the way from Radcliff to get their cut and its worth it every time.

Very rude to my wife yesterday. Made my 4 year old son cry. Shameful place. Do not recommend for children.

The shop is still in its infancy. Very slow service. Nothing special from what I’ve seen so far. I noticed there was hair covering the floor everywhere- from the barber’s chairs all the way to the front door. The aesthetic was cool, but if you have anything to do with your afternoon or you don’t like relatively loud thumping music, I wouldn’t recommend them.

Great place for a cut and trim. For those with larger beards, this is definitely the place to go. They know what they are doing and wont cut more than you intended. I have about a 6 inch beard myself and they do me right everytime. They also sell hair care and beard care products.

The best place in Hardin County for a great haircut. James is by far the best barber.The shop is clean and there is always great music playing and good conversation. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place is great! Great atmoshpere, music playing, sometimes a movie, haircuts and beardtrims. Way better beard trims and shapes than I could even give myself.I’ve been more than a handful of times, and have always been satisfied.

My first real haircut in over a decade. Will be returning for sure. Being a car guy, seeing toolboxes and compressed air being used to clean tools made me happy. Professional guys, professional tools, and the best damn haircut Ive ever had.

The staff is great, fun to talk to, and experienced. Great place to get a hair cut! The environment puts chain stores to shame and the location is easy to get in and out of and is on the historic square!

Arrived at 4:15 for a quick cut, however the door was locked and the two employees paid me no attention as I stood wondering why the open sign was lit and the posted hours were until 5. One of the two customers inside waiting finally mouthed to me that the business was closed through the door while still being ignored by the two employees. I wont be returning.

This place is simply amazing. Normally places have a hard time getting my haircut right the first time, but the guy in here nailed it the first time. I honestly didnt know what I wanted as far as the clipper size but based on my description he figured it out. They are a bit slower but very maticulous with every strand of hair they cut.The service is outstanding and the guys are extremely nice, welcoming, and very skilled. I will definatly be returning back here without a shout of a doubt.Parking is a bit difficult if you hate walking 20 feet to get the best haircut in Hardin county. All in all, this place is amazing and worth your time. This place definatly will not disapoint.Like if this was helpful.

These guys are great at what they do, and the atmosphere created by the art and the music make The Gray Comb the best place around to get a haircut. They only accept cash, and it can be pretty busy on Saturdays, but i wont go anywhere else.

Im from Louisville, but Im in Elizabethtown often. I usually just leave town as soon as Ive finished work, but I stumbled upon this place and decided Id give them a shot. Im definitely glad I did. I typically get cut at Derby City Chop Shop in Louisville and they really are some of the best barbers around. Ive gone once a month for years and Ive never had a bad cut. But I actually feel like I got a cut here that was on par with the best cuts Ive had at DCCS and maybe better, considering a cut is $14 ($6 cheaper than DCCS). My barber put so much time and attention-to-detail into my cut, a very short cut that a lot of barbers would just run over with a trimmer and be done with in two minutes. Im obviously really impressed with this place and Ill most definitely be back.
