I really enjoyed shopping at this location they have real size displays of the majority of summer items, like inflatables pools, toys, and water games they also have a wide selection of grills that you can shop for and are on display to demonstrate all the features, you can shop for camping tents, patio lamps, griddles. They also have several beautiful pergolas on display and lawn furniture. Basically lots of summer items on display to get us ready and in thr mood for the outdoors. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I had to pick up an online order and it came out very fast.

I enjoy shopping here but the ladies restroom was disgusting. I notified a worker, she came into the restroom and even said herself it was disgusting. I feel sorry for the person who has to clean it.

It was good trip. It was crowed, and my Chase card didn’t work, the cashier says it a known issue.

Got there around 7pm and it was not very crowded. Got in and out fast no long lines.

I enjoy the store. But after my friend and I was leaving the were 2 lines to have our receipt scan and the person scan all the white people fine. But it got to the Spanish and black we were pushed to the othe line. Even thou we were next in line.

I 100% don’t recommend this optical. I’ve been a Sam’s club member for 18 years and I have never been mistreated this badly. I made an appointment and when I came in, they skipped me after I told them I had an appointment for an eye exam. They instead took the other customers. My time is very valuable and I don’t appreciate being disrespected this way. I ordered a pair of glasses from them. And they told me I would get them within 7-10 business days. My glasses didn’t arrive till 3 weeks later. Stephanie said she would call me when they arrived and never did. This really shows how much they care about their patients. I ended up returning the glasses because the prescription was way off and they made me feel extremely dizzy. I had previously paid with cash, and Stephanie wanted to put the money back on a card. When customers get a refund, aren’t they supposed to get the refund in their original form of payment? Odd.Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! They have a bad attitude and need to improve their customers service! Everyone at Sam’s club is great except for the people they have working at their optical!

Long lines but to be expected, especially on a weekend. Cook County chased out all the Sams Clubs. Costco just doesnt have what is needed. Thank you Sams.

The lines are long recently. And they have stopped doing all the great samples they used to do. I really miss that. I am really happy with the new App for checking out quickly. I just walk around and scan all the items I grab, and then checkout on the app... and walk out the door after I show the person at the door my digital receipt. That really is nice.

This was my first time at Sams club. I came to help my Mom haul some laminate flooring. I have to say that I was impressed. We didnt go through each isle but did wander around and I picked up a few things. I found Scott stocking and asked if he could load a pallet of flooring in my truck. He was very helpful and made the trip easy.

Horrible customer service. The app says to call in advance for a bulk order. (They didn’t provide order number neither want to give the name of employee who took my order. They say that with my name on the list would be enough) when I went to pick up they said they didn’t have any order that my request couldn’t be full filled. Call for a manager 20 min on hold to hear that they don’t have manager available.

This store is fairly new and nice big isles/ Employees all friendly, but one thing happened the other day I really felt worth mentioning. They have seniors hours where only seniors are allowed and all must wear masks. Being 64 and diabetic I was pleased they introduced this safe haven to shop. One day I simply forgot my mask and the manager gave me on free of charge. Very helpful.

Horrible store. I ordered something two days ago for pickup tonight. 45 min before I was to arrive to pick up the item they send me an email saying its no longer in stock. After I just drove 1 hr and 15 min to pick up the item from the only store that had it in stock. They did nothing to help besides tell me I can drive another hour further away from home to a store they said had it. When I called that store to verify they didnt actually have. No one at this store seems to know they A$$ from a hole in the wall. Steer clear. Im sticking with costco from now on. No wonder sams is on the verge of bankruptcy. They will never be costco. Stop even trying.

Packed but got through the line quickly. Its Christmas time so that will happen! Stocked on most everything. Lots of staff working. Everyone masked and helpful. Every kind of Christmas sweets you could want.

Was able to get in and out quickly. Clean, not crowded and they had plenty in stock today. Plus prices seemed to be lower.

Got the app no check out you scan your own stuff with your own phone. Works great

I went there to renew my Sam card and I found out that it cost 45.00 dollars to renew it so I have to wait to renew it

Its alright i thought back in the day if you werent a member they gave you day pass to check it out before considering guess not. If they did that then definitely would pay for a membership for a year.

I came in for pizza, there was people in front of me could tell the lady was being rude to them, when i was ordering there was a lot of things not available or out of stock, she was being rude and i wasn’t done ordering and she kept saying my total. Service was bad, both ladys were rude.

They have stopped carrying multiple items that were staples for our kids. Kids are not easy to please when it comes to food, so when we find multiple different things for them to eat, we stick with it. No longer available makes it a bit tougher to do so.

Ive been a member for a year now, and I gotta say this Sams is excellent, besides the moving around of products constantly, but thats because theyre business is growing!Well managed, produce and meat/perishables always fresh!

Just joined but didnt like the fact that my order was rescanned when I left. Made me feel like I was dishonest. This makes me not want to shop here.

You can always find a great deal here. Be it food or technology you may always find a good deal. Their food is also pretty decent and affordable. You do need a membership to purchase though.

They are always out of items, and almost always out of sams club brand everything. What kind of sams club doesn’t even keep its own brand stocked? This one apparently.I also recently bought a pack of New York Strips, toughest steak I have eaten in my life, I feel like they are cutting chuck roast to look like steak, ain’t no steak tough like that especially New York Strips.

Only was able to buy 1 pack of paper towels.

When you go to Sams in South Elgin they never have anything early they stop selling corn dogs they stop selling chicken fried rice stuff that you normally buy there are every two weeks and their shelves are always empty but you go to Costco and St Charles and everything is always always full and kept up seems like its going downhill then you talk to management they just kind of nod their heads

Worst customer service ever. Called in every single department and the phone kept ringing for at least 30 min. When I called into the pharmacy dept for two seconds, it was answered. All I had was a product availability question. Walked in same day to cancel my membership. People in the customer service dept was standing around doing nothing and was rude when I canceled my membership. I opened one at Costco same day.

Normally Id give 5 stars since they have really kept it clean and stocked. Just wasnt planning on trying to find everything in a different spot because they decided to rearrange the whole sales floor.

Had some different items at this Sams in Elgin. Very interesting sales prices and layout of store.

Took almost 3 hours to get from my home to this location and back but its always better stock!

Close to home and convenient. Usually stocked well and clean.

Im disappointed, they have gotten completely lax on the covid protocols that i very much appreciated. They havent been sanitizing the carts in a while now, but they at least had wipes available, now they have gotten rid of the wipes as well and only have hand sanitizer at the front. Im not comfortable with that i hope they bring at least the wipes back. Also they completely moved everything around, so it required much more searching to find what you need now that everything is in a completely different location.

I havent had a bad time here. Always compare to find best price and buy what is needed.

The Sams Club in Elgin has an employee who works the front end that has such an attitude. You can see it in her face and body language like shes mad she has a job to do.Its amazing how such an attitude is allowed in the work place. I know its hard to work with the public at times but this her attitude each and every time I visit this store.Just unacceptable to the consumer.

8 months in and the flow of products seems to be getting better but at the same time it seems to dwindle.

Im 60 years old and a member of Sams Club Elgin Illinoisfor over 10 years I had a flat tire while leaving and I was told I needed an appointment to get it fixed.

I went for the Optical Dept. My insurance did not cover the glasses. They dont tell you on the phone when making the appointment. Now why would they when they gotta sell their own frames and lens.

My favorite place to shop. I really appreciate their tues/thurs 7 am - 9 am hours for seniors, compromised, or just anyone uncomfortable shopping with people (this last one is not familiar to all, I think). Well stocked and always clean.

I bought eyeglasses and I told them they were for driving only. They sold me the ones that turn dark in sun. They will not get dark in the car. They refunded me $50.00 but then had my glasses sent back to the lab to have the the lens changed to regular lens. It took a month They could have just refunded the money and I would have been happy. Instead I have a.very bad view of Sams optical . And I have let everyone know that I think they were wrong.

Great store for bulk and other purchases. Too bad theyve closed some locations. Their values are greater and quality of merchandise is good. Their return policy is flexible. I love their meat section, beats Costco every time. Plenty of parking available. Their self scan app is best invention!
