My landlord hired this company to ‘top’ some trees in the backyard of a unit i’m renting. i came home from work to find their truck was left in my backyard and they did not come back to finish the job for several days.they had to crush a few bushes to get access to the property; leaving a gaping hole in the hedges. i called the owner to ask if they plan on replacing the bushes to which i was told they would ‘repair’ them. they attempted to right the bushes back up but the damage is done and the bushes aren’t coming back.the men who showed up were unprofessional. i understand the job is hard but loudly shouting and arguing with your coworkers in a clients backyard is a bit unprofessional. there are also four spots of turf grass that are dead due to the workers spilling gasoline since they overfilled the chainsaws on the grass.i also witnessed a lack of personal protective equipment. the arborist in the crane was lacking a helmet, harness, eye protection, and even hearing protection; i hope they have good insurance ...they did their job well, all things considered. i wouldn’t say to avoid this business; but do be aware of the attitudes you’ll be inviting to your property.my advice to management: communication is important, both with your crews and with the people who live at the properties you’re working on.
