If you want to lose clients and business work with this company. i was scheduled for delivery on 7/16/20121 and they pushed me two days saying they cant do anything about it. first time clinet and last time. very unprofessional, update on this shipment. i wont get it on monday as they said and they pushed me again. never ever work with this company.

Kudos to all who made absolutely nothing happen!Description:I made a purchase through a 3rd party that hired R&L whom I will refer to from now on as Train Wreck Trucking to deliver the package.1st contact - They call as they are making the delivery that day, no call to schedule prior and my job site is an hour away. They offer a 5 hour window and cannot under any circumstance simply drop the package inside the door.2nd contact (Same day) I call to change delivery location as the 1 hour away 5 hour delivery window isnt going to work. Give them new address, they say they will contact me back soon to schedule delivery to new address3rd contact (2 weeks later) - Receive call saying delivery is being made that day. I say fine, just leave package outside. They insist it must be signed for but again, never called to schedule. I make a call, arrange for someone to sign for package and call back to Train Wreck Trucking. They inform me that the driver no longer has the package on the truck, then say wait... It was never on the truck as it is in Chicago. I ask when package will be delivered, they say 10AM-2Pm on Monday.4th Contact (Monday at 3PM) - When will you be making the delivery today? Them.. We have no delivery scheduled today. I apologize sir, I will get to the bottom of this and get back to you tomorrow morning.5th Contact (Tuesday at 1PM) What is going on with this delivery? I dont know sir, I will contact you later today. Call back later that day and the guy went home.6th contact (Wednesday at noon) What is going on with this delivery? I dont know sir, its still in Chicago. I will call you back. Never does.7th Contact (Thursday AM) I sit on hold for 15 min and hang up. Call rep from materials company, explain I am finished, you deal with Train Wreck Trucking. Rep calls back and explains that Train Wreck Trucking assures delivery will be on Friday before noon.8th Contact (Friday at noon) When will my delivery arrive? Looks up delivery and its not scheduled.We are now attempting to see where Train Wreck Trucking is keeping the package so that we can pick it up ourselves as Train Wreck Trucking apparently doesnt actually deliver packages.If there were an option for negative 10 stars it wouldnt be low enough. This company is pathetic.

Used the left lane just after passing a no trucks in left lane sign. 90 Northbound is already 3 lanes. Its that way for a reason. Need to respect the road and others who use it. Dont merge in between two trucks in the middle Lane causing the back one to slam on the breaks, just to go into the third lane to cluster the traffic and cut off more drivers. As an EMR and Firefighter Id like to not have to try to save someones life because of shear recklessness. Ive also had freight damaged when our customers use R+L. Now I understand why. If it werent for our customers choosing you I definitely wouldnt recommend you. This was my last straw, end of rant.

They were on time, catered to my specific shipping requirements, and the trucker had a great attitude! Thanks guys for the fantastic service!

This review is for the delivery I received on Wednesday Dec 5th 2018 and not a disgruntled employee or a client asked to provide a positive review. I had purchased an engine on ebay and this freight company met my expectations and went further by keeping in contact with me once it arrived to the destination terminal using my Pro number was easy for tracking my shipment through their shipment tracing. Thank you for delivering my engine on time and without a trace of damage also for your courteous customer service.

Terrible experience! Destroyed my load of one of a kind equipment and called to notify me and tried to deliver it to my customer!!!! The driver begged my customer to take it off so he could complete his deliveries. Complete neglect and abusive care of your items do NOT use this service ! Please do NOT! You will regret it! Cannot believe the amount of damage to my item!!

If you are delivering or picking up hereDo not sleep here overnight...The drivers here love to beat on your doors in the am to tell you...useless yard parking proceedure...Its just something that they do:(Just overnight at the TA 15 mins away

Their truck almost killed me today. Extremely aggressive driving!! 940am Randall rd. And rt. 20. 6-27-2017. I did report your terrible driving. Also, i have seen 2 of your trucks racing each other to R+L carriers, 375 second st. Elgin, IL 60123, at 4am. Very dangerous! What kind of manager would hire nutty truck drivers like this? Do you not have dashcams? You most concernly need dash cams. Your drivers are insane! I know they wont stop driving this way. Police will be called each time i see this .have a nice day!
