Kevin was wonderful when we got our new phones. He answered all of our questions (and we had a lot) and was very nice and professional. He even brought to our attention promos/discounts we were missing out on prior to our visit.

I’ve been to a lot of Verizon Stores but this one. Outshines them all. The reason being the 2 store associates Zayn and Kevin. Both were overly professional , know their job well and gave us the service we we’re looking for. Very tech savvy both set up our new phones in a flash walked us through the difference between our 8 plus and the iPhone 12.and corrected the problem my husband and I had with sharing an Apple ID. I hope this stores Manager and higher ups appreciate Zayn and Kevin and do all they can to keep these 2 individuals . Hats off to Zayn and KevinMelanie and Joe SmithAurora IL

I bought two cell phones at this store over the last couple of years and received great service and good prices. That is the reason I went there when I needed to get a tablet for work but I needed it for only six months. They were wonderful and the manager offered me five tablets for the price of one when I told them it was for a non-profit organization. When they gave me the contract to sign, it stated that it was a two year contract. I pointed that out to he manager and was told not to worry, and to come back when I needed to end the service and that the contract would end with no penalty fees. The only reason I accepted this was because of my experience with them. I have now been battling with them for almost four months and since the manager is no longer with the business, they say that I now have to continue paying for the two year contract. Not only have they now lost me as a customer but I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals office.

After being at a Corporate store in Chicago and buying a phone whith my friend, we had problems transferring things from the old phone to the new one. So we went to this store. We got there an hour before closing, so we were worried that it might be too late. Long story short, The Joshes were there to save the day. Store manager Josh was helping another customer with a tablet issue and politely assured us that another employee, also named Josh would be assisting us shortly. Employee Josh transferred all of the information including 23,000 text messages that my friend desperately needed for a small fee per policy. He was kind, professional, intelligent and even funny. Plus he told us that the 14 day return policy for phones was 13 days after the purchase. As the day of the sale is considered day #1. Not even the Corporate store told us that. If you have Verizon, this is the store that you go to. A+ Joshes!!

Josh helped us trade in a phone!! It was an amazing smooth transaction. I usually go to the corporate store but due to Covid we had to go to this Verizon location. I’m so glad we did. Never use this store ever! We went in Monday to purchase a Verizon plan, and a new phone for our son. We were given paperwork that showed a plan that we liked, and were supposedly signed up for that plan and bought a phone that would work with it. Then, when the bill showed up from Verizon the next day, the plan we were billed for was not the one we had bought, but a plan that was twice as expensive. And a promised rebate of $150 for changing phone services didnt show up either. Went to the store today to try to get it fixed and found one lonely and very young sales guy there by himself, no manager available. The sales guy said the manager was on vacation camping and was not in cell range and wouldnt be back til tomorrow. The sales guy looked up the plan we were sold and said Verizon had changed up their plans as of the first of the month and the plan no longer existed (as of 20 days before we were sold it). So we were fraudulently sold a non-existent Verizon plan. No apology from the sales guy, no sorry for your experience, instead he got angry at me for being angry about having been ripped off with no immediate access to a manager to get anything done about it! Horrible. Awful. Really really bad.

What went well:-We took advantage of a good promotion. 3 phones with cases & screen protectors for $450.-Tim, George & Jake were knowledgeable on the devices. They went to another to get a needed phone. Most pictures & contacts were transferred.What didn’t go well:-Being acknowledged when entering the store. I witnessed 3 customers leave the store with no acknowledgement. Jasmine was the exception. She stated she’d assist as soon as she was done with the current customer.-Phones not being properly activated. I had to return to the store to get activated to make calls out.-Efficiency of time. I probably spent 4 hrs in totality getting everything resolved. I also didn’t get my receipt emailed to me.

Buyer Beware!!! I’ve been with Verizon for years and have never had such a horrible experience as working with this company. Work with Verizon directly or buy online. These guys will sell you things you don’t need and sign you up for services you didn’t ask for. Very shady business practices. They never gave me a receipt - said it was emailed. It wasn’t! Had to go back and request a printed receipt and that is when I saw what they did! I had to go back numerous times, phone calls with corporate, phone calls with Verizon and now I’m being charged $5 a month for GRIP phone protection, I never signed up for this! Why would I? I have complete phone protection from Verizon! Now another very unpleasant phone conversation. Not sure how they intend on staying in business. They are running a very shady business. Don’t believe anything they tell you. Even Verizon told me not to do business with them again!

I dont know what they do here anymore. 3 years ago I bought a phone and tablet here. They activated, set it up, and made sure that I was comfortable with everything. I walked in recently and they sent me to South Elgin, or call Customer service. I had an old phone and need guidance on whether it can be replaced, or need to buy ok new. I asked about insurance. They couldnt answer ANYTHING. I left there ready to call Sprint.

Jarron and staff was great helping my kiddo make the switch from Android to iPhone, even offered him a job in 5 years to pay it off 😉. Thanks again guys!!

I went in cause my phone was crashing and never kept its charge. A girl name Emily I think was very attentive and super sweet and helped fixed all my problems in a timely manner

Went in expecting to just get my normal upgrade to the new iPhone 11 Promax... but was then convinced to go to the new Samsung ultra 5G. And honestly Im SO glad I switch over. The team over at Verizon (Steve, Jarron, Jennifer, and Carter) were very helpful.

I walked into Verizon Gowireless in Elgin today and had an amazing experience. Jarron and carter showed extraordinary knowledge about the new phones. I left feeling very informed and won’t go to any other store for my future wireless needs. I brought my brother and dad to get new phones (dad upgraded from iPhone4). The staff were great at assisting with my dads antiquated tech and got the contacts all transferred. The staff were funny while we waited for the transfers.

I came in because i was having problems with my phone. I was helped by Armando and Jake. They worked with me and Verizon tech support for over an hour. We could not solve the issue and i upgraded my phone. They got me the best del they could and set me up with all the essentials. The reason i am leaving this review is because they did everything they could to try and fix my phone before offering me a new one. They went above and beyond and that was greatly appreciated. Great couple of guys there.

I feel like many people have been taken for there Mony here.450 for 3 phones???And you are happy are you crazy 😂 he took your Money and laughed at you when you left 😂🤣.I called for SIM and it was for no charge.Because I have four phone lines with Verizon and headquarter told me to call the store and pick up your sim.And yes he wanted 10 dollars for it.Its free, version said so.Go figure.

Went in to get my phone upgraded, but the person working there “Luis” seemingly had no idea how things worked nor could he provide any information about any of my questions.I ended up going to an actual Verizon store, 10 miles further away that had actual, well informed employees.

My 88 year old father-in-law went in to this store to replace his flip phone, dealt with Jake the manager. Leaving with his new phone $240 later, they had installed a screen protector for his flip phone and signed him up for their GoAdvantage program. He was also told that his credit card was not working so he would have to go get cash, which he did. He was told that a receipt would be sent via email. A receipt for only the $149 flip phone was sent, nothing for the rest of the $240 dollar bill?A lot of ‘red flags’ in this transaction! No one I can think of would buy a screen protector for a ‘flip phone’! And I know my father-in-law would never sign up for a program that gets you discounts on accessories, for his FLIP PHONE! Best to just steer clear unless you are on your game.

They were very nice to us when we came in the store. They knew how to create good conversation, and helped me with selecting the right phone. Isaac was our helper and he was energetic and nice.

Very disappointed in this location and Verizon. Weve been in multiple times to get a new screen protector, dont make it anymore. Went in another time to get an outbox. Dont carry that size for the phone. Went in again today to get screen protector for another phone dont carry anymore, but will sell you liquid screen protector for $35 to $50. Our phones are less than a year old! Crazy! I really use to like working with this location. I guess you have to get a phone every 6 months to get the accessories you want. Believe me I want to give our local businesses business, I see why Amazon is taking over our world.

Dish store is a rip off.I spoke to Verizon over the phone and they gave me the address to this place to go and pick up my SIM card.And I can do the activation with them over the phone.because we were Verizon customer we were told that there is no charge for SIM card. When I call this place he wants to charge $20 for SIM card plus he wants to charge for activation fee.I spoke to someone on the phone with Verizon and it told me its free because your Verizon customer and you are get it upgrade to service.

Tim was very helpful when purchasing my new iphone x! He helped me set up my apple id and also helped with syncing all my old apps like facebook and spotify. Overall very pleasant!

I dont know where to start The guy is very shady try to charge me an extra $45 when over the phone he told me that its only $10.When I asked him to explain why the price hike up over $30 and he said this is just up two of her store not everybody charges that. Every story is different we have to charge you $45. I called their store and I asked for driving there he said 10.Very very deceiving and disrespectful.

Came in because i needed a battery and no one seemed to have it. Armando helped me out and helped me get a new phone and a hotspot with lots of goodies for the same price i was paying for my 10 year old phone. Josh was helpful too. Great teamwork at that store

Ive been with Verizon for almost 4 yrs. At first they were great. Now service costed more with less coverage. More expensive prices on there phones and want to fast track you through the door. Contract up, Im moving on.
