I was supposed to have a dishwasher installed yesterday, Friday, 12-11-15. I called TNT the day before at 3:33 P.M. to confirm the time window of the installation. No one answered, so I left a message asking for a call before their 4:00 closing time. No one called back. My husband emptied cupboards around the area where the dishwasher would be placed to aid in water hook up . Then he waited and waited and waited. No one came or called, so when I returned from school at about 3:05 PM., I called TNT. A woman confirmed that installation was scheduled before 5:00 P.M. and confirmed the phone numbers that the installer would call before coming. No one called and no one came. We tried calling back, but no one answered or returned our calls. The installer never came.Today is a Saturday, and believe it or not, TNT is closed, so theres no point in calling again. I wonder why an appliance installer would NOT be available on a day when many people would be home and prefer to have an installation take place. I also wonder why the installer never came. There was great weather. If he was running late, he could have called. At a time when just about everyone has a cell phone, this lack of common courtesy just adds to my dim view of this establishment.I dont know when they will deliver and install our dishwasher. Now Im also worried about the quality of their work: if they cant do the easy stuff like answer the phone, have convenient hours, and keep customers posted on arrival time, will they handle the technical stuff efficiently?Will one of us have to miss more work to wait? Will we be disappointed again? Stay tuned.
