Right Turn completely changed my life! I am very grateful for all the staff and some of the clients. Everyone was absolutely there for me and they didn’t even know me! I’m 4 years pain med free thanks to those 28 days!!!

I went here coming out of DE prison on a bed to bed transfer in February 2020 because I attended Right Turn of MD for a 48hr program (when it was under different ownership) in 2008. During my stay at Right Turn IMPACT (which was my first time at an inpatient facility for 28 days) from Feb - Mar 2020 - I was fortunate enough to meet with my assigned counselor 2-3 times before she left the organization. I then met with a different counselor 2 days before my discharge date. Some staff/clients were great, others not so much. I think it was maybe because they were all overworked. Definitely the place to go if you want to learn about “building character” and be made to feel less than because you don’t do hard enough drugs or haven’t been to treatment enough times.Rehab is rehab…I’m told not all are created equal. The real work begins when you get out and have to live life on life’s terms.

Ok... So my husband is on his third dui . He has a court date set in next few weeks . He told me he decided to go to this facility to work on himself and save our marriage. I know he went to help his court case . He left this past Friday and came back today (which is Sunday ). I ask him how it was . His story was so odd . If I didnt hear his voicemail. I wouldnt thought he went . He stated only ate bologna and cheese sandwiches and. Everyone slept in one open room . He said counseling was great because one one. I looked at the photos for this establishment and I saw people sitting at table, eating together. So after two hours since being home . I check on him in basement and he has empty bottle in his lap . He tells me he isnt drinking what I see is wrong . Im dealing with a person with severe mental issues. Weekend stay at this facility couldnt help him .

I attended the aftercare program (court ordered) for 48 weeks and this whole enterprise they are running is a total scam! You pay $155 per month for - at best- a 35 minute session in which you learn absolutely nothing! The “instructors” are never prepared and offer no meaningful or heartfelt insight in terms of recovery. How this “program “ qualifies for aftercare is beyond me. It’s a scam to get your money, they are really not making an effort to put any kind of resources into making it a learning experience. It’s a joke.Don’t waste your time or effort on this place.

Right Turn is an amazing place. Their staff made me feel welcome from my very first contact. They walked me through the process and helped address my fears and anxieties. I felt like the really listened to my concerns and I knew that they realy cared. It really was an incredibly life-changing experience. The education and treatment I received was far beyond expectation and the place was warm, clean and safe. For the first time in my life I believe deep in my heart that I really can stay clean and sober. I have made so many new friends who are in recovery. Their alumni clients came in all the time and shared their experiences with us. It was really great to see how close they all seem to be. Im amazed by the process and would recommend Right turn to anyone in need of help. They saved my life!!!! Thank you Right Turn.

The staff is great. The staff and counselors who run the group have experience in recovery and give great insight on things we as clients should do when we leave. I left prepared with an aftercare plan and I have stayed the course this far

I went in expecting hope and recovery, but all I saw was clients hooking up, creating drama, and sneaking in contraband. People were getting high nearly every day as people on the work release program would simply bring everyone drugs on their way home from work. People also had phones, as well as other electronic devices they snuck in. Staff is ultimately incompetent, don’t let them convince you you have a chance in court because you’re doing their program. I roughed out the month of hell and was just recently released from prison. 0/5, wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Most of the staff members are excellent. There are several weekend warriors who come in an feel like they own the joint and demand respect. They walk around on a high horse. “Oh look at me I’m in charge of a rehab facility for 10 hours”. Get a hold of yourself people. That’s my only beef; other than that I felt like I was given good structure and information on addiction. Oh and don’t let them sell you on getting a better result from the judge. Only the judge will determine your consequences. I was disappointed.

Right Turn is the best facility around for the treatment of substance use disorder. The combination of clinical and non-clinical information helps formulate an integrative holistic approach in order to meet clients individual needs.

Walking into RightTurn was a scary situation. The unknown and uncomfortable scenarios that played out in my head wasn’t even close to the experiences I encountered. In the beginning while sitting in the lobby feeling like the world was on my shoulders I hade to fill out all this tedious paperwork. I now know it’s there to protect my anonymity and confidentiality. I just didn’t know what to expect. From the moment I walked in I was met with a level of respect I haven’t been given in a long time. It made me feel at ease. I was introduced to everyone and I’m not good at remembering names but a smile and kind words are really memorable. Id like to tell you I love everyone I met at Right Turn but it’s just not the case. Their program, the way the messages are delivered, the way the group facilitators speak, the outside meetings that are brought in it made me feel like they said everything I couldn’t every emotion I felt was being said by another individual I instantly related.I was given an assessment, peer to peer counseling and private talks with my counselor it gave me the ability to speak on how i was feeling, what I felt and what was on my mind it opened me up to see areas in my life where I kept falling short. Music group, Art group and round robins allowed me to express my pain and excitement in a different way. Individual and community based groups gave me a perspective from other people’s pain and suffering. We all have different stories but the same plot. I heard what I needed to hear. All I wanted was some help. I’ve had enough.I wanted to stop drinking and drugging. I want a better life for myself. For my family. I just didn’t know how to stop. I wanted just one more day clean and sober. I wanted the pain to stop. I’ve come to realize “I am not alone”. The staff at Right Turn isn’t walking around in lab coats and text books. Telling me how I should feel or act. So phony. It’s the total opposite. I was allowed my process. Each and everyone of them have been thru what I’ve been thru. Some a little more. Lol. Some a lot less. We found common ground to relate and express ourselves. I was talked TO and not talked AT. Thank you RightTurn Impact.

Informative but guided presentations that lead to one plan only, ie, AA. Staff is sincere and honest. Options other than traditional AA ignored however.
