The Puyallup and Spokane ferries service this route. They are both jumbo ferries. The MV Puyallup has elevator access from both auto deck levels to all of the passenger cabin areas. Accessible restrooms are on the main passenger deck and on the sun deck. The MV Spokane has elevator access from both auto deck levels to all of the passenger cabin areas. Restrooms are on both the auto deck and the main passenger deck, but the auto deck restroom is not ADAWalk-Ons can purchase a ticket inside the terminal or on the dock. The ferries actually have good food options, including Ivars Clam Chowder and Schwartz Brothers Bakery goods, which are really delicious. They have breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, wraps, hot dogs, bagels and more.Beautiful ride to Kingston. If you have to wait in the ferry line in Edmonds, there are nice beaches (Bracketts Landing) on both sides of the ferry terminal. There is also an espresso stand and restrooms next the the ferry line waiting area and restrooms on the ferry terminal dock.
I love our ferry system! Lived here my whole life and Im still totally entertained and amused with taking them as often as I can :)
This ferry may have a really long wait especially in the summertime but its still my favorite route to get to Kingston, Poulsbo, or Silverdale. Also the ticket both workers always have a treat for it dog.
