David Terrell is a stand up guy and his company is FANTASTIC! I lived in a 2 story historic home with a very steep roof and steep gables. I also had a leak by my chimney from the awful company that did my roof before Terrell’s.His company came out and did such a good job but the leek wasn’t fixed. Not only did he promptly send out someone to fix it, but also had one of his workman paint the ceiling where the leak had left a spot.So 8 years later, sold the house and the buyers inspector passed the roof but said it had a small amount of hail damage and some shingles that were “bubbling” which is a manufacturer’s defect. I called David and he was not only kind and helpful but also sent someone out within a few days to inspect the roof. He helped me with my insurance company. He also went the extra mile to stand up to my realtor who wasn’t helping me the way he should have.I cant say enough good things about David and his company. I will use him again if and when I need a new roof, windows, or siding. HONEST,KIND, and DEPENDABLE.Thank you so much David!!!
Mr. Terrels and his staff are horrible unprofessional and rude. Dont bother calling to see if he will come to your home to give yoy a quote as it will take him several days to get back with you to EVEN Just schedule a time to come out for a quote. He wont hire anyone to help him as He insists on doing EVERYTHING himself so dont expect anything to get done right away. He is also VERY forgetful and has major anger issues. Dont make him mad or he will explode and say nasty mean things to you.
Great Experience! Love, love, love my new window!! Saving up to replace all the windows in my house. Purchased a large low-e window for my bathroom and now it is the coolest room in my house. Amazing!!
My husband and I bought our home (new) 24 years ago so it was time for an exterior face lift (new siding and trim). We live on a ranch approximately 1 1/2 hours from OKC and we requested a bid from Terrells Siding. The owner, David Terrell drove out to our home and prepared a bid after reviewing the house with my husband. He not only owns the company, he takes ownership of the project which impressed us. We selected Davids bid, and then Jimmy Howell and his crew showed up a couple of weeks later to start the job. Their work greatly exceeded our expectations and they cared about our house as much as we do, which was evident each day when they left - they hauled off the old siding daily and stacked their supplies neatly for the next days work. Jimmy and his crew worked hard on our house, we are picky, very detailed and they never made us feel like we were pestering them with small questions and requests. Jimmy met each request with professionalism and care. They worked in the OK heat (102 degrees) and completed the task timely and our pesky requests going above and beyond our expectations. My husband and I highly recommend David Terrells company and Jimmy Howells crew. They are top-notch and the real deal.
My wife and I decided to get new windows for our house that was built in 2004. The original windows were starting to leak and getting condensation between the panes. After considering Window World and Community Builder by reading some reviews, we decided to call Terrell’s and see what they offered. I called and soon we were visited by Mr David Terrell himself. We spent some time discussing what we would like and he worked up a bid.We looked over the bid and decided this was the company I wanted to do business with. In our opinion, David, comes across as very sincere and honest. I do not believe anybody would go wrong buying window replacements or anything else from Terrell’s.We had 13 windows replaced and after installation started it was little over day and half getting them installed. The crew was courteous and very efficient. When they were done all trash and remnants of old windows was loaded and hauled of. If you had not known, you would not even suspected they were here.I would wholeheartedly recommend Terrell’s for any siding, window replacements or roofing you need.W Bishop and D Bishop
Terrells installed new siding, two new windows, new soffit and fascia, guttering, and a new roof after my house was damaged by hail. He personally came to give me an estimate, was always responsive to phone calls and texts, and Im very happy with the work done. I had a few concerns about some of the trim work, and he addressed it immediately. The roofing crew failed to put the ridge vent in properly (didnt cut it properly so there was no venting at all), and the guys putting the siding up identified the problem and promptly fixed it - Id have never known the difference , and I think other companies might have kept quiet about it! And David fired the roofing crew over that mistake. All the crews cleaned up well after they completed their portion of the job, David stayed true to his estimate and his prices were reasonable, the work done was good, his guys were all courteous and professional, and Id recommend him to anyone.
Dear Mr. Terrell,Since your company put the new siding and roof on our place this past summer I have received many compliments from neighbors and family. It has given me such a lift. Also I want to thank you for your sincere helpfulness in my undertaking this task. You and your staff were so helpful and patient. It really put me at ease with the project. Many, many thainks for your kindness and expert work.Sincerely,Marilyn Dry
Accused my wife of wanting attention just because we requested a bid for siding and windows. Tore up his form with our name and address and threw it out his car window. Said our job was too small, wouldnt pay for the rims on his lexus. Reported him and.his hair implants to BBB. This happened in 2006
So my wife and I recently had some work done on our house by Terrells Siding & Windows. The only reason we even thought about using them was because the previous home owners had and we wanted to keep the warranties together. We knew that they have had bad reviews, but they had also been around for over 40 years, so how bad could they be? Turns out AWFUL! The work they did was good, it wasnt fancy, but we didnt want or need anything fancy just a couple of doors and some windows. It wasnt until I called Mr. David Terrell to see if he would come by the house to go over some of the work that was done because we had some questions and concerns. He had said that he would do a follow up with us, but after a week we had heard nothing. This made me think that he knew that there were issues, and he was hoping we wouldnt contact him. That phone call started off well enough until I got to the issues/concerns and he started getting really defensive and rude. It ended with me yelling into the phone at him. When my wife talked to him on the phone later about it he said that we were too immature to know how contracting and construction works, even though I had told him that I had worked in construction for over 10 years and still do jobs on the side. After telling my wife that she was immature he then asked her age, if he would have done this in front of me I would have probably lost it. The concerns we had were minimal we thought and mainly wanted answers, because these issues were not communicated to us during the construction. In fact there was little to zero communication. At one point he even said that he was going to bill us an extra $500 for the extra labor/lumber it took for them to do the job because we were complaining about it. When my wife talked to him he straight up denied that he had ever said this to me, apparently Im the liar. I am usually a very calm easy going person and very few people have ever seen me go off, David Terrell is now one of the people who have experienced it. DO NOT ever use him! I should have gone with my normal rule of never hiring somebody who uses their religion as a selling point, but I guess having a Jesus fish on your logo can work wonders in Oklahoma.Update: To the response from Terrells that just posted. I never said that the quality of work was bad. It is David Terrells attitude to us as costumers that was the issue. Nothing that I posted is a lie or a distorted truth. If you dont mind being treated like an idiot, being talked down to, or having someone insult your wife go right ahead and use Terrells no problem. The windows and doors were installed, the review above is about costumer service. Go ahead and hide behind your Jesus fish, Ive talked to too many people that have said the same as me.
Definitely not satisfied. I hired Terrells to replace my sliding glass door. I was originally scheduled to have the work done on a Saturday. Got a call a couple days before to reschedule to Monday. No problem. Then get a call on Monday after scheduling my day around the work that we need to reschedule to Thursday. A little frustrating. Then get a call today, Thursday, that we need to reschedule again. Very frustrating. When I called the office to complain and ask for a refund instead, I was told that I signed a contract and if I didnt let them do the job that they could sue me for damages since they were expecting the money from my job. So now I am waiting to see if and when they will actually do the work.Update: Finally got the work done. Twice during the job, they had to leave to go get supplies. Once after they ripped the old door out and left the gaping hole for 30 minutes while the heat and bugs had free reign to enter my house. And the quality of the work was sub par. See the attached pictures to see where they didnt caulk well and left shims sticking out without cutting them off. Just caulked around them. Poor workmanship.
I was sold by David Terrell a 35K turnkey/complete job of installing new windows, doors and siding on my home. I was assured that I would not hear I did not bid this, this is extra, I also expected that when the new doors were installed that they would be sealed. wrong! wind blows right around them and all I get now from David Terrell is, can do anything about that, the doors are pre hung. So, if you contact with Terrells roofing make sure all agreements are documented thoroughly! otherwise you will be like me, having to pay for new contractors to fix/finish the job.
First time around, he did not install all the windows. I offered to pay him for the work he did but not for the work he didn’t do. He threatened me with lawyers. After we came to an agreement, he installed the rest of the windows. However, his team installed the doors wrong and they were extremely difficult to open/close. The manufacturer eventually had to send their own team out almost 2 years later (he was avoiding contact). The manufacturer stated they have had several problems with Terrell.
I love my new patio cover. It’s beautiful. I am now a two time satisfied customer. Our siding is wonderful too.
I was driving down 35 doing the speed limit when a COMPANY TRUCK attempted to cut in front of me-had I NOT SLAMMED on my brakes I would have been crashed into the cement median. When I called the office to REPORT what happened they JUST LAUGHED!! I am NOT Sure if the DRIVER was DRUNK or what! But this is HORRIABLE!!!! I had my 2 small children in the car and we could have ALL BEEN KILLED!!!
Terrells wasnt the first company I called, but it should have been. They did what they said they would do and they did it well. The workmen & women on site were professional and courteous. The workmanship is of good quality and should last for years to come.
This guy is a awful person. Used him to repair my mothers two story house, right before he finished the job told me that he did the job for to cheap and it should have been a few thousand more. I didnt care because i knew i wasnt going to pay more anyway because I had a contract. Secondly he calls me when the job was finished and i was driving to work and he yelled at me because I didnt have his money ready..? I am sorry but I dont drive around with 8,000 dollars cash in my pocket. (which he knew I was paying cash in advance) I told him it would take two hours for me to have the money ready, but i still got chewed out by this old man. Also, according to my mom he is extremely racist and plan rude due to several interactions she had to deal with. His crew that works for him does decent work. Its nothing fancy, but it was cleanly done. But this man is horrible. Look elsewhere. ( Dont be sold on commercial of Good Christian Values We used him because of the roofing company recommended him. Even he apologized for situation.
Horrible!!! David Terrell is not a nice guy! He yelled, cursed and threatened over a Free Estimate. I guess his free estimate guarantee is incorrect! He is not demanding the job and going to sue us if we dont give him the job! What a joke! I seriously recommend EVERYONE to stay away from Terrells!
The Terrells crew did an excellent job. They put tarps over my bushes so there was not damage, and did an excellent job of cleaning up after the job was finished.
BEWARE! This company does not honor their replacement warranty. It was my landlord that got railroaded by these jokers BUT my mother was planning to use their company to replace all the windows in her house and she changed her mind after she saw how my landlord was treated. Im glad they got a little Instant Karma.
Avoid avoid avoid!! Absolutely flips out if you say you are getting bids and estimates with other companies. From reading other reviews, we arent the only one hes told to F Off.
I rate Terrells as top 5 and the guys were great and they cleaned their mess!
