I really liked the quality, however I had an hour blocked out (I made appointments for both of my boys). I got in traffic when Santa Fe was under construction. I got a message 2 min after my first appointment that I missed my appointment. I immediately responded that I was on my way and in traffic ( I was 4 min late). He was extremely rude to my son (not his fault), and his cut was not as good as his previous cut. He was also extremely short with my 4 yr. old too. I’m disappointed because I think he’s a talented barber. I’m a teacher, and I struggle with time and money. I am paying $40 (and I left $10 tip that day). Just disappointing we can’t be kind. It just hurt my feelings.

Look, your barber is gonna be with you in all the big moments of your life. Think about it, you always get a haircut before those events- first day of school, prom, graduation, job interview, first dates (maybe with your potential spouse), wedding, family photos, funerals, etc. So dont muck it up and look like a tool! Ive been going to the Clubhouse for about six months now. Its always a great experience. Its affordable, I get a great cut, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I love the appointment system because I know I can get my haircut done on my lunch break and not waste time waiting in line. I usually come in with a picture or an idea of how I want my hair to look, and Curtis always gives me good advice on how to make it work for me. Very pleased so far. Great cut at a great price. Curtis does a very nice job and I especially like the clippers with the “vacuum” attached so that hair clippings don’t get everywhere on you. Highly recommend.

Ive been a regular for over 5 years. I wont consider anyplace else. Yes the transition to online appointments was a bit bumpy, especially for an old geezer like me. BUT Curtis is the best! AND Max is a keeper! Either one can cut my hair and make it look attractive. (no small feat) Curtis has a heart of gold and gives me a discount for being an old geezer. So I tip em good. Also if you love golf, motorcycles, or bicycling youll feel right at home. Great haircuts with great atmosphere. Its well worth the effort to book an online appointment. Id give 10 stars if I could.

My son has been going to Curtis for years. The Clubhouse Barbershop is very clean and Curtis, the owner, does great cuts for all ages. Curtis has started doing appointment only but it is to help out his customers and be more efficient with their time. It is super easy to book an appointment. Ive seen him work people in if he can. Clearly he is successful and great at what he does. Sometimes complainers are the people that are difficult and are not considerate to a business owner. There are 2 sides to every story. My son loves to get his hair cut at this barber shop and I love to bring him! Curtis has been great and respectful to my family.

I used to see Curtis two years ago. When I thought he closed up shop I made a terrible mistake and got used to seeing other hair folks. Worst mistake ever; I am now back at the clubhouse and intend to stay.Way better than $&@?ing Walmart.

Recently moved to the area and been looking for a good barber. Drove by The Clubhouse and thought Id check it out. This is one of the few barbers Ive found who had a website and would even let you schedule your cut online. So easy and awesome. Not only that, Curtis did a great job...my search for a barber is done!! Highly recommended...youll be happy if you go here!!

Got me in and out at the last minute when visiting from out of town. Good shop and knows what hes doing. Happy with my visit, lines are a tiny tiny bit off but that might be because he was accommodating me on a last minute trim/fade. Will return next time Im in town and need a beard trim.

Im a student and Ive been getting haircuts here for the past couple of years. Up until my last visit, I have been mostly satisfied with Curtis work. However, my last visit was definitely below average. I made an appointment for 8:10 a.m. but I arrived at around 8:12 because I was held up by a train. When I walked in, Curtis said in a slightly condescending manner: I was about to write you off as a no-show. When I tried to describe to him what I wanted done to me hair (I admit that I didnt give him the best description), he says again, in a frustrated and condescending tone, I dont know what youre saying, and well if you dont like, there isnt much I can do. After he finished the haircut, I left as quickly as possible. However, after I had arrived back home, I realized that Curtis had done a noticeably poor job on the edges of my haircut (both sides were uneven). Curtis usually does a good job with my hair. Even so, I dont think that he acted professional or mature in this situation and for that reason, I probably wont be booking an appointment here in the future.

Read other post indicating walk ins welcome. NOT. I walked in without an appointment just before 1:30 in the afternoon only to be greeted by the most Hateful & Rude reception EVER. WOW not the way to do business. Would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYBODY FOR ANY REASON. I can understand if they were booked and couldnt accommodate me fine but dont be NASTY about it. There are ways to POLITELY explain your inability to provide service. These guys need to learn that procedure. You never know when secret shoppers are checking out your business. This report will not be good.

I spend alot of time in barbershops as I have to get a haircut every week for my job as a US Marine. This place is a salon in disguise. I have never heard of a barbershop that uses appointments only. The guy said I thought you had an appointment. I find that funny since the guy, who is apparently the owner, did not say a single word to me the entire 45 minutes I was waiting. The place seemed legit other than that. This place would not last a week with REAL barbershops as competition.After reading the incoherent rambling of your response I think you still do not understand the 1 star review ( it would have been 0 stars if it were an option). The reason I left a review is to inform others what a lousy barbershop you run, not to cry. The fact that you think I should walk in and ask the procedures of how to use your barbershop is absurd. Again, I spend time at many barbershops and they all do the things the same, non new millenium barbershop way. You walk in, you get your hair cut in the order that you arrived. Simple concept. YOU, as the OWNER should make it a point to GREET and talk to your customers (which you did not do). Had you actually have done that you would have realized, rather than ASSume, that I did not have an appointment. And dont worry about cutting to many more military hair cuts as I will do my best to tell everyone I know not just how garbage your barber shop is, but how terrible of a business owner you are as well.
