These guys are great! I brought my vehicle to them with a laundry list of things that needed to be fixed. They were very kind, professional, and helpful. They did an excellent job resolving the many important issues needing to be addressed and made it a pleasure doing business with them. I wanna give a shout out to Trent and Jay. They were wonderful to work with. Answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable and helpful. The mechanics are well experienced with valuable skills, and knowledge. I was charged 139 dollars for them to open the hood and tell me they couldnt check out the engine because there was stuff in the way. After 2 hours. They probably wouldve kept my car overnight if I didnt call 30 minutes before they closed, asking if they were done. Had to borrow money for food until I got paid. I guess all car shops are like this, though.

I sent my daughter to Route 66 to get new tires ,,, the quality and friendliness of the service from Jay and the Crew was Spot On ,, my daughters are in college and Jay treated her with dignity !! Thanks Jay !!I will continue to use Route 66 for all my maintenance and tire needs in the future !!

Had a flat tire late last night. I called this morning to see if they took walk in’s and the gentleman answering the phone was very nice! He said he had a couple people waiting but would fit me in. I have run flats so I know they are a pain to patch sometimes. They actually found another hole while they were in there and only charged me for one. Exceptional service! I’m not use to repair services not taking advantage of people. I would recommend this place to everyone!

I had a great experience at Route 66 Goodyear on 2nd Street in Edmond. They replaced a fuel pump on my car. The Staff is very nice and honest. I recommend them to anyone needing car repairs!

Got appointment for next day so things were quick, free wheel alignment check , they dont oversell , alignment was good so they didnt recommend anything needed to be done, however I still got an oil change since I was there and they had been very nice to me, the guy really explained all the alignment specs to me even though i was not getting the actual alignment done. Very professional, clean area to sit. Will come again if I have any tire issues.

Im not sure what the anonymous users are complaining about. Ive never had a bad experience with Jerry and the guys at Route 66. He is very knowledgeable about tires and I trust him. I used to work in the auto service business and I know that, especially on busy days, it can be a challenge to drop what youre doing to do something even as simple as checking tire pressure for a customer.I would recommend folks calling ahead if they can to have an even better experience. Its funny that well call a restaurant and make reservations for dinner, but we expect the local mechanic to work us in.

I love this Goodyear! The people are friendly and warm to speak with. They always explain things well when Im having an issue with my vehicle. They do good work and Im very happy with their service. I highly recommend them.

I was referred here by some friends, and they were right—these guys are awesome! Jerry, Trent and Daniel are honest with you and charge you a very fair price! I took my car to them twice, trying to find the annoying squeak my front end had developed after taking it to a competitor (that I won’t visit again). They tried a couple of different approaches and didn’t charge me either time. Trust me—this is where you want to take your vehicle. I won’t take mine anywhere else from now on!

I could not get my rim back from them without paying for The tire I didn’t want because I was being over charged. The customer service was very poor because they didn’t respect the fact that I wanted my rim back and they acted like they couldn’t take there property which is the tire and give me my rim back

I love this place and the people that work there. They are always helpful, courteous, and tell you exactly what the problem is and how long to repair it. Daniel is at the front desk, and he is one in a million. Plus they are honest and trustworthy.I dont understand the negative comments, but I guess we all have our issues.

Let me tell you how helpful these men are... I woke up this morning to a flat tire after getting home from a 2,000 mile trip to North Carolina for Spring Break. It was the first flat Ive ever had and my nearest family member is 2 hours away, so obviously I was a mess. I called Route 66 and they made me an appointment for two hours after my call. When I arrived, Daniel at the front was BEYOND helpful and kind to me, and he also explained everything that was going on with my tire to me very clearly. I got out of there in less than an hour with a new tire, and I even paid less than I thought I was going to have to. I cannot thank Route 66 enough for their knowledge and courteousness. At first, I picked this shop because of the proximity to my house, now, I will make them my go-to auto repair shop. Keep up the great work, guys!

We brought my wifes car here with a hard to find tire/wheel noise. Two other shops were unable to resolve the issue. The first attempt fixing the issue at this location was not successful, but the gentlemen here ultimately resolved the issue and covered the cost of the misdiagnosis. We will return to this location and commend their honesty and integrity.

Route 66 tire has always been the most honest automotive repair shop Ive ever dealt with. They are trustworthy and polite. I had tire problems that no one else could solve. They figured out the issues and contacted the tire company for me. They made my experience a breeze. I dont know why anyone in Edmond would go anywhere else. I also heard there is a great place on route 66 in Bethany, I think the name is Rons Tire & Auto.

Had my Prius serviced there again, 235K miles, oil change and tire rotation every 5K miles. This time I picked up my car and it was pulling to the left, took it in and they swapped the front tires, it is called radial pull?Drives perfect again and they noted my history on their system and said they would get every bit of wear possible to the end of life of this 3rd set of tires I bought from them. Keep up the good work!

This is the only shop in Edmond, maybe even in okc in general, that has staff that knows how to handle expensive low profile rims and tires. The only people I trust to work on my custom cars is me and these guys, and Im a very picky a**hole.

The Route 66 folks were able to supply a decent quality used tire to replace my failing spare at a very fair price, including the mounting and balancing. The service was quick, workmanship was first rate and the people there are genuinely friendly.

Worst customer service! We got tires about 3 weeks ago and already needed new tires as they didnt even last a month! My car needed to have more work done which they didnt suggest at the time and because of that the tires wore quickly. When my fiancé went back in there to see if there was anything they could do and the guy dug through a drawer to find some pamphlet with fine print about how they couldnt help us. We were wanting to get the rest of the what needed to be fixed there but because he was incredibly rude...we will be going elsewhere!

I’ve been going to this place for years now and they’ve never let me down. Daniel is polite and honest and a very patient man. I do ask a lot of questions lol. The women’s restroom is preeetty clean and the over all environment is pleasant. I will be returning for future oil changes, tune-ups etc. They provide a variety of services here so I will be back soon.

Were not from Edmond, our car was overheating and this automotive shop was the nearest thing that we could get to. They refused to even look at our vehicle because it was too old.. imagine if hospitals were like Route 66 tire & Auto and refused to see old people because they were too old....

From Springfield MO. We bought a pickup in Edmond on Saturday and it needed tires bad, was refered to Route 66 by a friend. They got the tires I wanted and installed them before noon. Very happy with the service and tires.

The vehicle was overheating, so we were pretty desperate.. they called back the next day and said that they wouldnt work on our vehicle because it was too old. ok.. looking to drive my overheating vehicle somewhere that will actually work on it...
