Humble staff, Clean facility and touch less experience for checking in

Ok this Labcorp is super efficient! They are so much better than the other labcrops and the phlebotomist was also great and fast!

I have been coming here for years for my little one’s bloodwork. We had the pleasure to meet Dharika Patel several years ago and now my kid’s will only allow her to perform their lab work. She is kind and patient with children plus she does her job well! I have been to many lab corps but this is the ONLY one I will bring my kids to because of the staff, especially Dharika! We will see you again next week :)

The front desk staff is amazing and efficient. The facility is very clean and spaced well for Covid safety. I was a walk-in for blood work. My paperwork and check-in took 10 mins. I arrived at 8:15am on a Friday. I was very pleased until I sat to have blood drawn. As soon as the lab technician placed the needle in my arm, there was an extreme sharp pain. I audibly expressed that this was the most painful blood testing experience I’ve ever had. She placed gauze over the location of the shot, and after driving home, my gauze was full of blood. This has never ever happened to me. This was a week ago. My arm is still in extreme pain. I still feel extreme sharp pain and cannot do basic things like put on my pants, wash the dishes, walk the dog without feeling immense pain. This lab tech is extremely unskilled and unfit to work in a facility doing this everyday. Do not come here.

I can’t find the words to thank all the staff at this place. I had gone to 4 places with my 11 month old son to get lab work and no one was able to find his veins. At the Edison location the technicians were so delicate, patient and caring.thank you for making this a wonderful visit

Very easy to get blood work done with or without an appointment. I did notice on their website said there were no appointments available but when I went there they took us right in. Definitely my go to lab !!

I hate having to do my blood work BUT The staff here are calm n patient. The whole building is always clean. Its not in my town but I only go here.

I had an excellent experience at the Edison facility. Its clean and all of the staff I encountered were friendly and professional. My two year old daughter had an appointment for routine blood work and I was nervous! So much so, I didnt realize I left her prescription home until the front desk attendant asked for it! She lovingly told me to calm down, gave me the fax number and said to call the pediatrician and ask them to fax it over.The lab techs, Jackie and Mukta are phenomenal!! They were so sweet and easy with my daughter. They gave her stickers and Mukta talked to her while Jackie drew her blood. She didnt flinch or cry. They even calmed me down..LOL. The entire process may have taken 10 mins. If your children need blood work done, definitely take them to the Edison facility and hopefully theyll get to experience Jackie and Mukta!

Such a great experience! Had to leave review because of all the negative ones.18 month old needed blood drawn. Made appointment online nearly 2 weeks ago. Checked in today with kiosk, and was called to window then inside within 10 minutes. Best part was the phlebotomist. One stick and done. An hour later and you can hardly see injection mark. Couldnt have asked for more. Thank you so much!

I had a great experience on my previous visit. Muklaben was very caring to assist me.

As in all places there are helpful cheerful workers and others that are not happy campers. Unfortunately, I was greeted by a unhelpfu and unhappy employeel but later another employee came and was patient and helpful. Second employee was not aware of first employee conduct. I did not complain I just observed quietly.

A pleasant experience.Positives:Been there for 4 yr olds blood work. Did a checkin in the kiosk (which is very neatly designed and easy to use). In the waiting room, they have chairs neatly arranged to avoid close contact. Just did a walkin. They have a display showing people who did reservation and walkin. Luckily, i was called within 10 minutes and you go into another room where you again wait for 5 to 10 minutes to be called in. They try to work around the kids tantrums to draw the blood with no frustrations on their face. That was good to see.Can be improved:1. In the display when we are waiting, we have no clue of how much approx. time (estimated) before we will be called.2. There is not enough chairs in the 2nd waiting room (where you wait to be called in for drawing your blood).

I visited this Lab Corp location this morning for my daughter’s routine blood work. My daughter was quite nervous. Dharika Patel did her blood work and she went above and beyond in making her comfortable and answering her questions. Dharika was very gentle and my daughter did not even feel a pinch. Thank you Dharika!

VISITED FOR BLOOD DRAWN YESTERDAY (12/29/2020)When this NJ will learn how to draw blood? Have a look at pictures how BADLY BRUISED.During my IVF process, I had to go to Madison Ave (NYC) by 9 am for blood drawn. More than 30 times they have drawn blood and I NEVER had any bruises. They (NYC) have drawn 20 times from right arm and same place. I NEVER had bruise. They got my vein within 5 seconds. NJ nurses should go there and get more training how to draw blood.10 MONTHS AGO:#1. As soon as I checked in for blood works, they asked me for credit card and sign credit card authorization. Although I provided them insurance card and ID with it. They wanted me to pay estimated cost before they bill it to insurance.#2. The guy whoever drawn my blood, he was an inexperience person. My left arm is bruised. Its already been 3 days. Still its dark and bruised. I will NEVER go to Lap corp ever again.

I have been using this facility for several years. They have an excellent phlebotomist here - Dharika Patel. She is one of the few who can find my vein with one stick and never leave me with bruised, black and blue skin. And if she is at the front desk, their customer service is immediately elevated to a whole new level.

Waited on line for 10 minutes only to see a sign on the desk that says to check in on kiosk. Shouldn’t that be more visible so people don’t wait on line for no reason? I asked woman at front desk if I should hold onto the prescription from my doctor. She was SO curt and rude. One of my kids had a hard time giving a sample so they gave us the material and paperwork to do it at home and said all we had to do was drop it off. When my daughter went in the next morning they told her they needed the insurance card again. Why?? They had it on file from less than 24 hours prior! Woman at front desk gave my daughter a hard time because she’s a minor and drove her own specimen in. All she needed to do was drop it off! Why the attitude?? Will never use this place again. Hours are also very inconvenient.

I have been struggling with getting my blood work done for years because I have small veins. But my phlebotomist, Dharika Patel, has always been finding my vein in one shot. She is caring because she assures me that I am okay and makes small talk so I can get my mind off the needle. She is patient because she works with me and is gentle. I can say that she is a professional because everyone has a hard time finding my vein, except her. She knows what she is doing. I highly recommend her she is amazing I cant say enough good things about her.

I was very disappointed by the service I received in Edison mid-day on February 27th. My doctor faxed a script to the location for my services. Upon calling before my appointment and learning the staff at Labcorp claimed to not have received the fax, I asked my doctor to fax it again. When I got to the location, the staff member I dealt with was entirely unhelpful. She said they didnt receive the fax, so I called my doctor a third time, who confirmed they sent the fax to the right number, and got a successful confirmation. The Labcorp staffer refused to help troubleshoot the missing fax, and would not even re-check the faxes that came through to see if it somehow got lost in the shuffle. She said they file the faxes by last name, mine was not there, and there is no chance it got misfiled (how could she be so sure? we are all human!). With not one iota of help from the Labcorp staff to solve this dilemma, I was faced to leave the lab without getting my test, and am seriously dreading calling my doctor back a fourth time, to say I still do not have my lab script, and that I need to push my appointment back again due to lack of test results.

Yesterday we have been to this place and Dharika Patel was very good at her service as she was able to draw the blood out of my Daughters veins without hurting her and with very minimal pain. I think, others must learn from her.

Bad experience. Came in and they immediately wanted me to sign in on the automated portal. I input everything, but the system did not take. There was a camera/scanner to scan driver license and insurance card... I thought how great! but it didnt work.Finally system indicates that I am complete. It apparently did not take. Receptionist indicated that she cant find it. Implying I did something wrong. Finally she decided to take information and put it in manually like she was doing me a favor. She said Ill just do it for you... which is great if I didnt waste 10 mins inputting it in the computer.I was only dropping off a specimen, she pointed me to next room... I went to next room and no one was there to help me.Finally got someones attention who pointed me further down the hall... I have no idea where to go... Finally someone else pointed me to a drop off bin. If first person told me exactly where to go and what to do, there would have been less confusion.Think about the process from the point of view of the customer. Imagine how confused they would be. Explain things step by step, ensure the systems work.Make it easy, stupid.

Making an appointment online and electronic checkin was easy. While we had to wait a bit, the staff was professional and the place was very clean. I am a HARD stick, usually 5+ times to get it. Jackie, my amazing phlebotomist, got me in 1 stick.

They are not going to pickup your call. Ever. Just being patient is not enough, you have to be luck to be heard

If I can I want do give no star. Avoid this place at all cost. They don’t really care about you. You just another subject there. I would go to another place even a little far. I checked in with the machine and waited for an hour. When I asked the front lady told me I wasn’t in the system and needed to check in again. I asked how long I have to wait again. She told me she doesn’t know. I only needed a blood work and I will be late for work if I tried to wait for another unknowing hours. I walked out of the office without getting anything done!

Excellent service and a great experience ! They were very courteous and professional at the front desk as well as very friendly As for the phlebotomist, Mrs. Dharika Patel, she was excellent ! She was very professional and very courteous and her hands are like feather light

Not sure why people gave bad reviews. This was my first time there and was a walk in. There was a wait but nothing crazy. The lady working the front was nice and the nurse drawing my blood was great. I ended up getting light headed and they took great care of me. I felt bad actually for giving them more work as it was near closing. They did a great job and I think if you had a bad experience you should give another chance.

Incompetent supervisor who misread the prescription made me go to LabCorp twice.

The best experince supriced my Child guvi him a panic attack whene ven he has a lab and yestuday he very Well and he told me Mommy Nex time l want to come back there and be jaqui thank you for dedication and Love for children

One star for convenience since its close to home, the staff is nice but I wont go back. The phlebotomist hurt me, Im bruised and sore AF. I donate blood all the time and I never bruise like this. Ill find a new location to go to for the future.

Do not go to this place and waste your time. Huge crowd and long waiting time. No place to sit and wait for 2 hrs. They dont have any notification system to notify. If you standing outside and your turn over then you have to re-register again. Staff attitude is not great. Dissapointed and left place as no option what to do.Suggestion: please improve your system for your customer service.

Horrible wait time no sense of urgency they work in relaxed manner. Don’t care if it’s a months old baby or whatever they need to wait absolutely prefer other locations even it’s bit far to drive. Not worth waiting

I have been using this LabCorp location for quite some time and I have found them to be professional and courteous. On one occasion, I went a day earlier than my appointment because I misread the date on my calendar and when I got there, they took me anyway. I thought they were going to tell me to come back the next day. Not sure why others didnt have the same good experience as me, could be one of those bad days people have occasionally.

Bad experience, explained to technician I had small veins and needed a butterfly needle and she used a regular needle and couldn’t get blood, she then went to my other arm and finally used a butterfly needle and blew out my vein. I left with an ice pack on my arm and look like I was mugged. I will never go there again. ☹️😢

My wife went here yesterday during her lunch hour to have blood drawn for a surgery. The lady who drew the blood the FIRST time was rude to say the least. Didnt even speak to her, just gestured indifferently for her to come to the station where she continued to act like a rude child. According to my wife she didnt speak, and acted almost angry to be there. When my wife got back to work she received a call from the lab saying they didnt draw all of the blood they needed to. So another hour was spent driving back to the place, where another lady attempted to draw blood from her other arm and couldnt get the vein, so another had to step in and finish the job. The original person who drew the blood was apparently in hiding the second time and if my wife saw her she would have suggested she return to school to learn how to read a prescription. Dont go here! Go anywhere else. Not fit for pets let alone humans.

There is area for improvement for The staff, especially the front desk, regarding being more courteous and respectful.

This place is God awful. Do Not Come Here!!! The phlebotomist hurt my ten year old. I’m standing here waiting in a line of ten people just to drop off a sample and there’s a baby in there screaming for five minutes now. I feel like I’m in a third world country. In addition, they didn’t give me back my paperwork for the sample drop off. Thankfully I took a picture of it. Then they had no internet or wireless connection for their printer so I had to download a fax app to send it. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life!!! Staff is rude and not helpful at all. Phlebotomist is torturous. Stay away!!!!!

Been going there for many years, they are good at what they are doing, some of the techs are great with kids blood draw.

After having a horrible experience at the watchung labsorp this one was amazing! They were great with my one year old son who got bloodwork done! Very understanding, patient and friendly. The lab is clean and the receptionist are also very friendly. Will continue to go to this location. I have tried the south Plainfield and Greenbrook one too, didn’t like either.

Staff is very rude, they treat you like cattle, you get better service at the DMV. Oh and the wait time!!! This place is a joke

Once the phlebotomist stuck me three times trying to find a vein when I showed where everyone usually draws blood from. Horrendous!!It was like she was practicing on me. I’m very serious. Will never return. I drive from Iselin to Millburn which is the best Lab Corp in the state.

My son and I reached Labcorp at around 1:30 on friday. 5 mins wait. Very polite staff. We were in and out in 15-20 mins.The nurse was very polite and sweet.

Went to get blood work done for my Dr on July 17 2017 . I thought everything was fine I waited the next month for my dr to call me for my results my dr said my test results was never fax over . So I called the Edison lab someone hung up on me and was rude and nasty . So they connected me to another department she was a very nice lady . She told me that dont worry I was fax your results to your dr today . To make a long story short its now September 16, 2017 my dr still do not receive my test results as of today . So now I have to go see if I can get my results , and bring them to my dr smh .

This is worse place ladies who work here need some refreshing on csEspecially Asian lady she is so rude and nosense talking she won’t even get up help or doesn’t even answer while you are waitingI would never come here again

Worst company. Unsmiling . Wont even pick up specimen at my doctors office. I have to bring up personally to them. To get the result I create an account. The result is impossible to get. After a month I get my bill and I have not even known the result yet.

Waited over 100 minutes for a blood test. Even if it was the holiday season, they should have hired more staff. Severely disappointed.

Reservations not required, but make one! Wait time for walk-ins is usually well over an hour, even when it doesnt appear busy. Once you are seen, the staff is professional though.

After they draw my daughters she blood she fainted and these people were like nothing nobody came to help us not even a cup of water horrible place and the funny thing is Im phlebotomist to and we have to help the patients
