Edina Heating and Cooling are simply the best. They are honest, responsive, professional and kind. Matt found the problem, a leak in the evaporator, and when we had to wait for the part to come in. He found an alternative solution for us to stay cool. We had a quote from another company who did not even attempt to find the problem just tried to sell us a brand new unit. Matt told us there was nothing wrong with our AC unit. Anyhow I cant say even good things. CALL THEM

Our A/C was working fine then just went out randomly, right before it was about to be 90 degrees for the next week. Matt Keohen picked up when i called and was at my house within 10 minutes (granted we got pretty lucky with this). Matt diagnosed the problem to be our furnace blower motor, he got the replacement part that day and came back and fixed it. I cant believe how friendly and prompt he was, Im recommending this place to every one i speak to. Matt literally saved us from a dreaded night(s) in pure humidity.

Believe the hype! These guys are great. Friendly, honest, responsive, and resourceful. The other guys charged $100 for a diagnosis requiring $1500 fix... so glad I called Edina Heating and Cooling. The tech. hunted down the problem with his voltmeter and some good test cases, and saved me $1000 bucks.And another time, we called them the morning of Christmas eve -- and they sent someone else and had us going in a couple of hours. So great!

When I first moved to my town-home in 2004 my old furnace which happened to be on the roof gave up on me in the middle of winter. Minnegasco found a gas leak in our furnace and could not repair. We called almost 10 different contractors. Edina Heating was the only one that could get to us and they did within 2 hours of calling on a Sunday morning. The technician (Matt) was amazing, very helpful and throughly explained what he had to do and why. Left the place completely clean from his work. Great service!

I called for info about a new thermostat specific to my HVAC brand. They dont provide service to North Minneapolis. The person I spoke to had a very rude tone to his voice when referring to The Northside. Not sure what he was implying by that, or what the reasons are for not providing service to my area, but the tone in his voice was enough to make me hang up and seek service elsewhere.

Chris replaced the motor on my 37 year old A/C condenser unit.

I called morning of 12/24 and they were out almost immediately. We had no heat and were expecting a major bill on our 15 year old furnace. The repair was quick, minor, and inexpensive. Bottom line, they could have gotten away with a major charge if they were only slightly dishonest. These guys were fantastic. I could not have been more pleased.

Chris from Edina Heating and Air Conditioning came out an evaluate our air conditioning system. It would run for a few minutes and then pop the circuit breaker. He was very knowledgeable about our system and checked out everything. It turned out to be the circuit breaker itself! The charge for the service, that was quoted, was what we were charged. Excellent Service, Great Contractor and they came out the same day! I would recommend Edina to anyone needing servicing!

Super impressed with responsiveness and service quality

I have had Edina heating & Cooling Inc come and repair my air-condition. The coolant was replaced a couple of times by them and it works good. The Contactor that costs about $20 was replaced and I was charged a total of $229 for less than an hours service.The service is excellent and the folks are very courteous. The price is pretty high that forces me to think of alternatives.

Our furnace went out yesterday and Edina Heating and Cooling took good care of us. Chris arrived very quickly, within forty minutes of placing the call. He demonstrated strong knowledge and kept me abreast of what he was doing and why. He was able to quickly diagnose/ troubleshoot and replace a non functioning limiter with one from the truck. He explained that our filter is large and designed to catch everything but that it also requires more for the air intake for combustion. He also helped me to understand venting. With better understanding of the mechanism I am now heating our house with greater comfort. The cost was affordable and I will use them again. Thanks!

Very professional, knowledgeable, informative, thorough, and prompt group. We were able to get a technician out for a second opinion on our furnace the same day as we received a very bleak prognosis on our furnace from another company. Technician was able to diagnose the issue and provide a very efficient solution in less than an hour. We really liked how they took the time to look into warrantys of our system before making a recommendation. Service to fix the issue was done within 24 hours of the initial site visit. Very impressive group, would recommend to anyone with furnace needs!

Ive been using these guys for a multitude of years now for my boiler. They are always very responsive, friendly, and get the job done right the first time.My last service call was for air in the lines of my boiler, which was causing it to not properly heat my home. Tim took the time to show me how to purge the air from the pipes, and also how to drain the waterlogged expansion tank. He saved me from an expensive air separator upgrade and future service calls for the same issues by empowering me with the know-how to accomplish it myself. He walked me through the entire process step-by-step, so now I can handle this on my own. Plus, they are very friendly. Highly recommended.

They were honest and prompt. Our air conditioner went out on a very hot day. These guys were able to come out the same day. I thought I’d need a completely new 6-8K A/C unit but Matt diagnosed a faulty capacitor and fixed it on the spot for a couple hundred bucks. He gave me maintenance advice and was a very good guy. I had a different company do a service call for my HVAC unit not working. The tech quoted me a $1,600 repair even though it was still under warranty. I had Edina Heating come look at it and it was merely an exposed wire leading to the motor shorting out. They had it fixed in less than half an hour for a minimal service and repair fee. They gave a customer for life in me! Highly recommend.

Matt was a awesome technician! He was very informative in the process of repairing our furnace and educated me on what I could do as a consumer to prolong the life of my appliance. It was a overall great experience.

$550 dollars for 2.5 lbs of R-22 refrigerant! Thats $220 per pound, over TWICE as much as competitors charge. Its partly my fault because I did agree to this price prior to shopping around for a cheaper provider of R-22. In addition, after a quick search, I could by 5 lbs of R-22 for $195. Thus the two star rating! I will say however, the service was excellent! I placed a call and talked to a friendly, helpful and courteous individual who dispatched a technician in less than an hour!! Great service, sky high price!!

After having another company come out to our home 2 times, and still didnt fix the issue, I decided to go with a different company.It was negative 12 out and my furnace was still out...
