Ever since they switched to the garbage truck doing the picking up of the trash receptacles, I come home in the afternoon to my trash receptacles strewn all over the sidewalk, tipped over, etc. Last week there was a bag of trash that got stuck and it was left on the sidewalk. I cancelled my trash service with them today. They asked what my reason was and after explaining the situation they just said, “okay.” No apology or offer to improve. PS. They still use the Provyro trash receptacles, that’s why it is not Boxx in the picture.

They always do such a wonderful job and make sure to pick up garbage if it falls out of the truck or the dumpster! We always have a snack and water ready for them!

Second straight week that boxx hasnt picked up my cardboard boxes. I followed their rules. Now I will have 3 weeks worth of boxes so Im sure theyll charge me extra even though the only reason I have a lot is they didnt pick it up. Boxx Sanitation offers single stream recycling, which lets you put all recycling into a single bin, with no sorting required. Rinse and flatten items when you can to conserve space. If cardboard doesnt fit in the 18 gallon recycling bin, break it down to a 3 x 3 size and place it alongside or underneath the bin to make sure we get it to the recycling station.

They are more expensive than other garbage service providers. The customer service is lacking they want to blame the customer for their drivers not picking up the bin, that was out there the night before pick up day, waiting for them. They aren’t worth the price, go with a different companyGot a bigger bin than the tiny one boxx offers for $3 more with waste management!

I had pro viro for years with no issues. Lived in minneapolis with 0 overages. Some weeks, I went over on recycling but the vast majority I was under. Within the first year of Boxx, Ive been charged multiple overage fees. In the past, I wouldnt put cardboard outside on rainy days, snowy days to save hassle for the pickup person. Not anymore, because I risk overage fees for being considerate. Use a different company

Not exaggerating-- probably the best Ive seen a conflict handled by a business and went way beyond my presumptions about how Id be treated after an unfortunate incident. Josh and Wayne were both gracious despite my initial screed and communicated with transparency. Couldnt thank them enough and hope to talk more in the future.

I was walking the dog this morning as the BOXX truck went down our country road. Once he passed us, I noticed a single soda can on the road which I planned to pick up. However, the driver braked, backed up, and got out of his truck to pick it up! I said to him “Seriously, you just backed up for a single can???” He said yes, didn’t want to create littering (which is sadly alive and well on our pretty road).I was so impressed with this man! Now, some cynical people will say that he only stopped because I was there watching, but I prefer to look at the positive side of life, and believe what he said. Well done, BOXX!

I have been using Boxx services for nearly 10 years. I have services at 3 rental properties and my personal home. They provide excellent service at a good price. They are always friendly when you call. They go above and beyond to fix any issues.

Boxx has picked up our trash for quite some time & their service is good but the mess their trucks leave behind is disgusting. Maybe clean them out once & awhile or empty them more often.(?) Im going to call the township & see if they can motivate Boxx to clean up their act.l

Flattened out my trampoline box and they wouldnt take it. Today they finally decide to take it and as I watch they threw our recycling bin. Horrible service!!!!!

I have been with Boxx Sanitation for 5+ years and in that time they have provided great garbage service and customer service. I love that you get to talk to a real person when you call and they have many different options for paying your bill. Keep up the amazing job!

I was a customer with Boxx for 14 years and usually paid my bill months at a time. Recently I was 10 days late paying the bill and they canceled my service without notice. Needless to say Im no longer a customer.Strange way to treat a loyal customer.

I used to have Advanced Disposal as my sanitation company but on the advice of a friend we switched to Boxx and weve never been happier. They are so helpful. Their prices are competitive and just today I forgot to put my cans out and they came back to pick up my trash! Very nice folks from the customer service department that takes your calls to the guy driving the truck! Highly recommend Boxx Sanitation for your residential refuse needs!

We completely forgot to put our garbage and recycling by the road last night due to helping after the tornado. When my fiance walked outside to leave for work this morning, he saw that the garbage truck driver had come up to our house to grab the garbage and recycling containers! It meant so much that he was considerate enough to come get it when we forgot to take it to the road.

Great service, but am disappointed in the level of customer service that they deliver. They used to email us when things changed with their service, but then something changed and they stopped sending us emails. When I called to speak to someone about their customer service I was disappointed with the answers that I got.

I have only recently become a Boxx customer as they bought out Provyro. They did not send our first bill by mail, as we had always received them in the past. So, we ended up getting a past due notice. Which no big deal we just paid up. However, we didn’t even know we had, had a bill due. So, we no longer receive paper bills without warning, and we no longer receive email notifications for delayed holiday pick-ups, or notifications on bulk item days, how many bags we can have for leaves etc. We now have to contact the company, or search their website for details that should just be provided to customers via email. The service itself is exactly what it should be; you set the stuff out, they pick it up. However, as a newly acquired customer, we seem to be entirely looked over in terms of communications. If the issues don’t resolve themselves shortly, as we understand there maybe growing pains, we will move to another company.

They cancelled the spring bulk pickup and refused to reschedule. I called them for a small credit on our account to compensate for Boxx not providing the service which we paid them for. Owner, Joshua Boxx, got on the phone and berated me as well as the rest of the eau claire community. He swore and yelled at me that he was cancelling my service. The whole call was recorded. Ive never encountered anyone with such poor social and customer service skills as Joshua Boxx. Shockingly bad.I signed up with another local company within 10 minutes and found that our bill would be $17 less than what Boxx was charging.

So happy we switched service providers a few years ago, we dont have the issues with billing that we used to and service runs like clockwork! The only time we had a question, we received an email response the next business day.

Jeffers location a 5 out of 5. The price was great and we were in and out of there after dumping our brush. Employee was pleasant. Mondovi road was short one star due to the rude employee at the dump site who didnt acknowledge our presence when waiting to dump our garbage until I waved my arms at him. Then a glare and a I will get to you in a MINUTE. Wasnt even close to one minute.So sorry. Look, I get you have a job to do, but telling me up front you have to spend some time moving junk out of the way would have been the polite thing to do and understandable. Up until his response, I wasnt even sure he knew we were there. Small problem, because the remainder of the trip went pretty slick. Wish there was a way to award 4 1/2 stars. Much less than I was expecting to pay. Would go there again.

After having Boxx since July, we were suddenly informed by Josh that they would no longer pick up our dumpster unless we rolled it a 1/4 mile to the road. His excuses were that he didn’t want to crack the asphalt, which there is none & he didn’t want to slide off our driveway, which is completely flat.Ironically Advanced Disposable, Menomonie Disposal, Culligan & the LP truck haven’t had any issues in the 8 years of living here.We are STILL waiting for a refund & for our dumpster to be picked up after being told it would be done.Josh & his office staff are rude & unprofessional.

This company has gone down hill in the last 2 years. They went from we will earn your business mentality to we got your business where else will you go with it.I guess they just forgot how they started.

Always very pleased with the customer service at Boxx. When we call the office girls are extremely pleasant and helpful. We forget to put out our trash every couple of months, so I call to let them know Ill be bringing it in myself, and the good customer service stands out because so many businesses dont care if the people answering the phones are cranky or rude. Every time I have had an extra need for disposal I have been met with the most courteous and helpful service at the office. On the occasion that I see the drivers, they have been more than helpful. I like this company!

They are a consistent service that post notices about delays or any other changes of regular services on their website. You can also pay your bill online which is very convenient, and they are the cheapest service Ive found in the area. Highly recommend!

Boxx refused to pick up my lawn and leaf bags. I called to get this corrected, and they refused to help. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. No remorse.

A recent job opening at Boxx Sanitation to which I applied, followed up with, submitted 4 professional references, and followed up on a second time,led to an interview with office managers. To be PC about it, the entire experience was disappointing. I received a general were going another direction email from Ali ,office manager to which I replied as follows:Good morning,Thank you for responding. Im sure someone will accept the position, however once I came there and observed the atmosphere, I left knowing theres no way I would work there. A word of advice, if I may.. as an office manager or ANY Sort of leadership role in ANY BUSINESS, but ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE THE FIRST ONE THE CUSTOMERS SEE..You might want to NOT drop the F BOMB repeatedly. Have some respect, and turn down your self promotion, youre not that great that your behavior should be accepted by your coworkers. Please understand, your demeanor will affect anyone who not only works there, but customers as well. Im sure you have skills and talent, regardless you have no tact.Regards,I would not recommend this place for work in the office, if before youre even invited into the office for your scheduled interview youre blasted with a harsh supposed office manager whos blatant disrespect is shown freely and continued throughout.

Working wise desperate for helping very unprofessional in your face about everything little thing even after hours illagel for over weight limit s equipment is beyond used out of service but send it they will leave you hanging no training orientation you would have to be crazy or out of your mind for the service to save 5$ and to work there desperate no one last more than 3 week s just a heads up to the hard working respectable workers out there

We had Boxx for 2 years. It ends up being more expensive than any other company in the area. We were charged for extra bags every single bill cycle even though we never once had an extra bag. They would never come at a consistent time of day. After about a year, the large garbage can top half broke when they picked it up, but they never replaced it. The containers are a God awful neon orange. Christmas Eve they came so early we missed them and our container was full. Only notification of an early pick up was on Facebook. Who looks at their garbage companys Facebook page?! Our neighbor called and asked them to come back. We both got our containers out. They came all the way back and only took our neighbors! The drivers are awful. We are on a residential road and they FLY down it. When I called to cancel our pick up, the lady was very nice but not interested in addressing our concerns at all. She asked why we were canceling and I told her this entire story. She just said ok well there will be an outstanding balance for extra bags so do you want to pay that today. I said sure Ill pay for the imaginary extra bags, no problem. She then said that next week will be our final pick up so dont put any extra bags outside the container because they wont take them. I was like, we have never had an extra bag! We arent going to start next week! I give them 2 stars for the simple fact that they picked up our garbage and offer automatic withdrawal. Save yourself the hassle and go with Waste Management.

Did not pick up our trash on monday(now friday) and said it would be a $35 fee to come pick up early. we share a building with 3 other apts and garbage is overflowing in all of them and smells horrendous. go somewhere else.

I cant say enough good things about Boxx Sanitation. I have Boxx service my home as well as my business for garbage/recycling disposal. Very friendly business and staff who take pride in making sure our needs are met. Highly recommend Boxx!

Pay your bill on time and there isnt any issues, leave your can by the house by accident and theyll still grab it for you!Customer service at its best!

We have service with Boxx at our second home. Even though we arent there often, we have to pay for the whole year. Trouble is, when we are in town and put cans out for pick up, the driver lies and says they werent out (neighbors can attest they were) rather than admit we are the only customer on this street and hes been skipping it for weeks. Hey, if you force me to pay all year, you better drive by my house all year. Very dishonest. No remedy offered so, canceled service. Too many other choices to put up with a lying driver.

Extremely poor customer service from the office manager. It’s a shame that such a good company would tolerate someone whose approach is blame the customer, never show empathy, and be as rude as possible.

Ive had to call every week just to make sure they come to my house. Theyve skipped my house three weeks in a row one time and just did again. They always make excuses for missing my house and try to put the blame on us. May be inexpensive but not reliable.

This company decided to stop picking up yard waste for houses that are South of 94 with zero notice. Not a single letter, call, or email about the change.Those of us who are south of 94 still pay the same amount of money however. Less service, same fee, thats the Boxx way.
