I used A-1 this past summer for a bounce house rental for a birthday party. They were great and easy to work with. On top of that if you rent on a Saturday you get an extra day of use at the same rate. Pick up and drop off was simple and I was in and out doing each within 5-10 minutes. I would definitely recommend!

Was there filling my LP tank, which they did right away and they have all kinds of rental stuff there from man lifts to stump grinders etc.

A-1 rental is my go to for anything I need. They always work well with me and have always been there for me. Even when something happens in the field they are there to fix the problem and make it right. Then there is Mike what a great guy to get to know... he made sure I was satisfied with his staff and equipment and asked me my thoughts and took everything I said to heart. He treated me better than family and would definitely recommend A-1 rental in a heart beat. You will not be disappointed with your rental or purchasing experience at A-1 rental!!!

I rented a skid steer worked very well. Very good equipment well maintained. Also make sure you ask for Cash when you have any questions about the equipment very knowledgeable about all of the equipment they offer.

A1 Express has high quality equipment in excellent condition. All employees, up front and in the shop are knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. They made a first time rental very easy and straightforward. I will use them again, every time I need a piece of equipment I dont have.

SHORT VERSION: THEY CHARGE YOU FOR MECHANICAL FAILURES WHEN THEIR WORN OUT EQUIPMENT BREAKS UNDER NORMAL USE.Quite possibly the worst experience Ive had with any rental company, and by far the worst customer service experience locally.They rent equipment telling you it is in good operating condition. On the morning of my rental, settings on a grass overseeder were so worn off I was told to guess.A power broom almost wouldnt start. The technician pulled the recoil heavily several times before realizing the choke was half broken and needed to be pushed further before it would start, and it finally started.When I used the power broom on my property, it started fine the first time. I went to start it a second time, pulled the recoil and the whole motor separated from the body.When I returned the equipment I explained how this happened to the technician. He told me he would process the paper work and Id have to talk to someone up front to resolve it. I went up to the front desk, one other customer was in the lobby, 2 other counter staff. The 3rd counter person came in from the back room and announced loudly that we have a problem, so everyone in the room could hear. He went on to tell me that I would need to pay for the broken part. I clearly explained how the motor had separated when I was trying to start it, and expressed my frustration for not being able to finish the project it had been rented for. They didnt care because I didnt purchase a damage waiver.Long story short, I talked with the owner about it just a few minutes later. Explained how I have rented several items from them in the past including a skid steer, and would take my business elsewhere if he could not resolve this without accusing me of equipment abuse. He replied Well, where else are you going to rent this stuff? He didnt care at all, but wanted me to pay for a used and abused machine repair.GO ANYWHERE ELSE. AVOID THIS PLACE. THEYLL CHARGE YOU FOR POORLY MAINTAINED AND WORN OUT EQUIPMENT WHEN IT BREAKS.

Am renting a wood splitter.. I dont pay until I pick it up, just in case it rains and I wont need it. I think thats good customer service.

Used the General 660 Dig-R-Mobile to excavate six 12 diameter holes 48 deep for deck piers. Our worksite was slightly sloped about 15° in places on a rocky gravel landscape area. Required two of us to position machine correctly. We used extension on drill and changing was straight forward. Machine started very easy for us. Transportation on road was easy with the toe attachment and two inch ball hitch. Would advise to study the YouTube videos online before using. The instruction manual provided with our machine had no illustrations.

Good guys, good equipment. I was able to pick up on a Sunday (very rare and appreciated), guys got me loaded and unloaded. Was a couple hours late next day, they could have gouged another days rental out of me, did not do so (also rare). Excellent service and experience, will be back.

I called in June to ask about renting a pretzel warmer. They advised me they didnt have one. Ok no problem. They then called me back that same day and said, No, we dont have one but weve been getting requests so were going to order one. Itll take about 8 weeks so call us back in early August and well get you all set up. Called last week and was told, Oh yeah, I remember talking to you, I dont think we ever ordered that but Ill have someone call you.No one ever called so I finally called back today.No one had any record of me calling and whoever I spoke with , the manager I guess, said he had no idea about ordering a pretzel warmer and that I was basically out of luck. So here Ive been sitting for two months expecting to be able to rent this thing and it turns out not only did they not order one, they werent even going to bother to tell me that they never ordered one. Absolutely awful customer service and would never recommend them to anyone.

We have rented several different items over the years and have NEVER had a bad experience. All of their equipment is in great condition and they always take the time to make sure you understand how it operates. They also fill your grill LP tanks at a very reasonable price. The staff could give a training class in customer service. They are top notch !

The Service was OK then when I dropped off the truck with a full tank they charged me 5 gals at $8.00 a gal and they rounded the miles up to the nearest hundred miles. I took a pic of the odometer meter and I put in 284 miles but charged me for 300 miles at $.49 a mile. I won’t rent from them again. It would’ve been cheaper with go with uhaul.

Do not rent this snorkel LE 335-18 equipment without the lower controls. They rented out this equipment without lower controls working and it’s not safe to do that.

This place is awful. My 14 yr old son went in to a large air compressor to work on restoring his old John Deere and first the guy either seemed hung over or just completely out of it. he paid for it out if his own money. first the guy wasnt even going to give him a hose to go with it, then when we got it home it would not work properly, kept collecting water, therefore pushing water into the sandblaster and it was returned within 2 hours! they would only refund half of his money. we also found dead out their other two air compressors were out of service. would NEVER recommend this place! NOTHING LIKE STEALING FROM A CHILD!!!!Id give it 0 stars if I could!

Went there to drop off our Pennske moving truck. No hassles. Pretty professional staff with good sense of humour. Can drop the truck after hours too as they have a drop box.

Best place around to rent almost anything you need to do any job. Have been using them for years and never had an issue with any piece of equipment. And if I did have an issue they would be more than happy to fix the problem and even come out to my jobsite.

The counter staff asked me lots of questions to make sure I was renting the correct equipment. They also showed me how to use the equipment before I left.

Horrible! 2 calls where made to verify what we needed to have in place to rent a machine. Neither time did anyone tell us we would need a larger truck than the one we had to haul it, just that we needed trailer breaks and a certain ball hitch size. We arrived and where told we could have it delivered for $100 more than the regular delivery fee and it could be picked up in 2-3 days adding additional rental days to the bill. It was a total scam! We left without the machine, its cheaper to hire a company to do the job. It was a total waste of a morning and the gas to deal with these people! I dont reccomend using them if you can at all avoid it.

If I could choose zero stars I would!I called to see if I could get 190 napkins, in a pinch and needed them the next day. The guy on the phone said Yep, we have them, $.90 a piece. You can pick them up tomorrow. Get there to get the napkins I need and the kid says I have chairs on my contract. He tells me they dont even stock napkins. Then why did the guy yesterday tell me I could pick them up today!?! What a huge pain and waste of my time going out of my way to get what I was told was available! Did they think I would say, oh sure, chairs will do, thanksVery disappointed!!

We rented a tent, tables, chairs, linens and a sound system from A-1 this weekend for our wedding. When the tent was set up the inside was completely dirty, full of slugs and dry grass clippings, the set-up crew tried to convince us that is was from our lawn (no sorry we didnt have any dry grass clippings in the lawn, and slugs dont move that fast) and they suggested that WE could hose it down. So because you didnt clean the tent after the last usage WE should hose it down and get everything wet inside the tent? Seriously? The tent supports were leaning at a scary/dangerous angle as well, luckily they didnt tip over. When we hooked up the sound system one of the speakers didnt work, we called and were put on hold for 10 min, we hung up and called again later and they didnt apologize and gave no assistance or offer to refund any money, terrible customer service. And last but not least, when the crew came to pick up the equipment, they brought a pick-up with a trailer and small skid-steer on it, with ample space to turn the vehicle around without driving on the lawn they almost took the very heavy truck and trailer onto the lawn (which would have left ruts), luckily someone was around to yell at them. Not surprisingly the crew smelled like they were partying all night long. Very disappointed in their service
