We chose Sylvan because our son is advanced for his age and unable to enter kindergarten due to his date of birth. We wanted him to stay challenged until he starts school. He looks forward to his classes there and always has a good time.

After just 10 weeks, my son is holding his head a little higher and walking a little taller. This confidence, along with a better experience in school, is due wholly to the dedication and expertise of the entire Sylvan staff. He is really benefitting from the positive attention and genuine caring he receives. The tutoring is very well rounded and centered around his own learning style. My son is happier, more ambitious and is gaining way more than just academic skills, he is gaining life skills.

Sylvan was one of the best decisions I ever made for my child! When her school didn’t have much options to help her with reading, Sylvan was the answer! She loves going every week, loves the tutors and has made a few friends too. But most importantly her grades are up, her confidence is up, and we’ve built a strong foundation for the rest of her education. Definitely 5 stars!

My sons confidence and attitude toward school has improved dramatically since he starting Sylvan. He started sessions over the summer and has started the school year with a whole new outlook. Homework is being done without asking, questions are being asked in class, teachers have noticed a difference and his grades are better than ever. We used Sylvan for ACT Prep and couldn’t be more happy with the results. The program was individualized based on our son’s strengths and weaknesses. Sylvia provided us with regular updates and was great to work with.

All three of our boys have participated in Sylvan, and it has been a wonderful experience. Our 9-year-old was falling behind in reading and writing at school. Our daughter has struggled immensely with school. Sylvan has been the place weve been searching for. Their teachers and staff have been so wonderful. Our grand daughter has been working with staff at Sylvan since the start of this school year. We are extremely pleased with her growth and development in the math and reading areas. The curriculum at Sylvan has been overlapping the teaching in her 4th grade classroom resulting in a very positive outcome on her report card. It has been a great asset to have staff review her homework assignments for accuracy and understanding of concepts. Meera looks forward to her sessions at Sylvan and is encouraged by the staff who reward her progress with tokens. We are also appreciative of the consideration of the Director, Sylvia Dombrowski, who on occasion came in to work with Meera privately on a holiday weekend. She has been most attentive to the family and to Meeras needs in addition to altering the program to insure success. Sylvan has reversed what could have been a disastrous school year into a MOST successful and rewarding experience and we are most grateful.

My daughter went to Sylvan Learning Center in Eau Claire when she was in the second grade. She was struggling with reading even though she was receiving additional help through our school. Prior to attending Sylvan, she struggled with reading. Her ability to complete her homework was also hindered. We decided to enroll her in Sylvan. This was one of the best decisions we made. Within a few short months she was reading at her grade level. Reading and homework time was no longer a struggle. I am happy to say that after attending Sylvan my daughter has become an avid reader and absolutely loves to read.
