Dont put your stickers on peoples stuff. I dont care that its easy to take off, thats not something that you should ever do. If i brought my computer to your place then youve clearly already earned my business, i dont need you slapping something onto the keyboard to clutter up the whole thing. Got my iPad screen replaced here a few months ago. Came back with part of the screen dead (one of the corners has no touch sensitivity), along with very noticeable dust inside the screen. Not only this but part of the screen cracked when I picked it up one day, I didn’t drop the iPad before or anything, it just cracked from the pressure of my hand.

They told me that they were sure my ps4 had a chip malfunction and that his co worker agreed stay away from this place they will do everything in their power to make you spend as much money as possible (we had to pay for the replacement that didnt even work.)

My daughter is virtual learning and broke her iPad screen. They worked hard to get the screen repaired same day. These guys are Lifesavers!

These guys truly impress me. To make make my phone basically brand new in less than an hour is just incredible. I have brought 3 phones in to date and recommend them to everyone I get the chance to.Side note. Save yourself the money and don’t go for the tempered glass screen protector. Super happy with TC TEKS! They were super helpful with an older computer that I use as a desktop. Had issues with the fan and general operating speed. The fix was quick and now a ten year old computer is running as good as my 1 year old laptop!

DO NOT BRING YOUR LAPTOP TO THESE PEOPLE!! I brought my laptop to this TC-Tek location to fix a simple problem. My power button was stuck in and I could not get the laptop to start up. They gave the laptop back to me with the power button working however the screen no longer worked and they told me that the laptop has a serious corrosion issue, even showed me some bogus pictures. They said that they would back up the hard drive for me, which I had them do but at last second I decided not to because it was too much money and decided to go get a 2nd opinion. A few weeks later I took it to a laptop repair company in Minneapolis. They got the screen to work and they told me that there is no corrosion issues and whoever put the laptop back together did not put the laptop back together correctly. Thats why the screen did not light up, and the mouse doesnt work anymore because its missing pieces from when TC-TEK took it apart. Not to mention they wipe the memory when they were going to back up my hard drive so I lost everything on the laptop. They essentially ruined/sabotaged my laptop. Dont trust these people as theyre just eager to get money off of you by backing up hard drives and not fixing the issues since they clearly dont know how to fix computers. If I could give them 0 stars out of 5 I would.

I arrived about an hour before closing (on Saturday) expecting to drop the phone off and come back Sunday, but Tyler offered to complete the job that same day, even if he had to stay late. Im far from being a computer techie, but Terrance, the owner at TC Teks made the process easy. I replaced my old computer with an outdated XP operating system with a refurbished Dell computer operating with Windows 10. Terrance was able to transfer all of my data to the new computer flawlessly. He even logged in remotely to my new computer to help me find my new files easily. Great service and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company!

Diagnosed my fix and had it fixed within a week or two. My motherboard was fried and now my computer is good as new... Saved me from having to buy a new computer and losing all my photos and school documents.

Repaired my PC and IPhone X 5/5

I wanted to get some files that were corrupted opened. When I got the computer back I asked him I could get into my files and he said yes I got them open myself: ,he said. I opened the computer up and could not get the flies. He told me Its the best I could do Then he charges me $160. Way to over charge and not even fix my computer. On top of this I had to pay them to re install programs that they deleted and some programs I lost.......In summary I paid 160 dollars for the problem not to get fixed, for them to re-install current programs and to delete some of my current ones. My computer was better off before I took it to them.It fells like I took my car into the mechanic for an oil change and they decided to over charge me drain the antifreeze and not even change the oil.

BEWARE!!! These crooks improperly put a bad screen in my laptop and tried telling me that the keyboard was bad (tried charging me for it too) when it was just a software issue they created! I talked directly to Carlos the owner and he continued to say he didnt know what happened because I dropped off the computer for a touchscreen issue fix and it came back with the keyboard, mousepad, and touchscreen not working! They put a bad screen in and they continuously said that it was a favor (after paying over $400 for a bad repair) that they finish the task! Never going back because they just tried hosing me for hundreds more but I know better!!!

FREE diagnosis is in fact a lie. It is ONLY free, IF you agree to have them repair the item. If you decide NOT to fix it, suddenly it is NOT free any longer. False advertising in my opinion. A real business tells the truth up front, without playing with words to deceive you and get you in the door. Go elsewhere.

I had my screen repaired here it took a little while but i dont believe that to be there fault. it was shortly before Christmas.after my screen arrived , I went to the store to drop my phone off. I was turned away by a newer employee because he didnt feel comfortable with my particular phone.which pissed me off a bit (mostly because Id informed them id becoming in that weekend too have it fixed ,because I was on a tight schedule ). I did appreciate the employees honesty ,and I could sympathize with the guy ,not wanting to screw something up and piss off his boss by costing him money , and not wanting to piss off the customer by leaving them without a working phone. Anyways a few days later Id gotten it repaired ....with a defective screen . I contacted them the same day that something was wrong.after exchanging email I brought my phone in to have them inspect it ,to make sure it was defective.it was observed to be, and they ordered a new one . I wasnt able to get back into have it replaced ,because I was busy working . In the in-between time I dropped my phone again... I exchanged emails again to inform them of this, to which they offered half price on the screen they were already set to replace free of charge because they gave me a defective merchandise.

I first visited TC Teks at their old location, downtown. I needed a laptop power cord and had gone to Best Buy, where they had one option. An employee showed me the end cap they were located on and when I asked if that was it he said that was it as he walked away. At TC Teks, the gentleman showed me their options, then started searching online as he explained that he could order me one for even cheaper! He then busted out a tote of power cords and started looking for a compatible one for me to borrow while I waited for one to arrive in the mail!! Incredible service and I have been only going there for my computer needs since.

Scammers! They told me they were fixing my phone with “Apple approved parts” and then my phone stopped working. After I came back in to tell them my phone was messed up they then decided to tell me the parts were after market. Horrible customer service and staff belittled me every time I came in with an issue because of the poor job they did fixing my iPhone. I ended up bringing my iPhone to Apple and they told me that the TC Tecks damaged it badly. Never go here!

Super good customer service but after 3 screen replacements the phone never worked again. They did replaced them at no charge but being that I am in the Twin Cities it was difficult to only go back to TC Tek. They did change their distributor of iphone screens but only a few short days later the home button become very finicky.

Dropped my tablet off for screen replacement, was given price up front and approximate completion time. Got a call from the tech stating that upon inspection there was further damage and they were not able to complete the repair. The tablet was returned to me at no cost. Awesome people to deal with

I thought their service was exceptional. They changed my computer to a diefferent one after I found out about the Windows XP not having anti-virus anymore and they did it in one day. They also follow up to see if you are having any problems. I would recommend them for their great work.

S7 for battery fix, glue seal they used didnt hold. Next attempt mangled the back panel and paint peeled off one entire side. They wouldnt offer to fix the damage they caused as they claim thats acceptable and part of the repair process...smh.reply to your response;You replaced the battery in my phone on November 22 2017. I asked whether the battery had a warranty and was told 30 days. I asked if the work done would keep the phones IP67 cert for dust and water-resistance and was told yes. I came back to pick up my phone after 30 minutes as the tech had quoted. The tech came out with the phone to finish the final glue down of the rear. As he was finishing i asked if there was any warranty of back up to the work TC TEKS had completed on my phone. He quoted the 30 day battery warranty and that the glue would hold.Today, 11/24/17, i came back into your store because the glue seal you provided on the battery repair failed and the rear glass panel was coming off my phone.The technician mentioned that trying to fix this would cause the paint to peel off. To which i responded by asking what they could do to help with that. The technician mentioned they could order a back panel but that he would need to charge me for it.I asked why i would need to pay for a new back panel because this new damage would be the result of the correction to the faulty glue seal he had applied for the battery fix.The technician told me the previous fix was completed and that the paint would peel while he fixed the seal but couldn’t see the point i was trying to make. So i handed him my phone so at least I could get the seal fixed.I arrived back in another 30 minutes and your other “customer” was still at the front desk emailing on one iMac while watching youtube videos on a macbook pro and texting on her phone at your front desk. I assume she was testing these items for purchase?i am not sure how she could concentrate on anything further than those 3 screens, but thanks for including her in your response. Classy to try and frame me as uncooperative...Again the technician was applying the final glue seal at the front desk for me and he informed me that quite a bit of paint peeled off this time but that he hoped the seal would hold this time. Then he began to ask me how i used my phone. I was sort of confused by this and said to text, make calls. He elaborated by asking if i kept it in my back pocket, but i mentioned no, usually its on a desk as i have a gear watch.Then a second guest walked in. surprisingly your tech did not greet the guest. good guest service i thought.He finished the glue job in about 5 minutes, still never acknowledging the new guest, and i asked him how much a new back was. He looked it up and told me $25. To which i snarked, cheap way to stand behind your work. I know not great, but it was the best i could come up with.There was no mention of this service being half the normal cost and the tech never offered it.I came to your store because I wanted a professional service to fix my phone the right way, rather than me buying a cheap ebay battery, trying to find my way through a youtube how to.But here I am, TC TEKS now not only refusing to stand behind their work, but lying about the interaction, and trying to make me look bad in the process. 👏👏👍 I will just get a new back for $12 off ebay when your glue fails again.

I brought an iPhone 6s with a broken screen to TC Teks. The repair took more than 24 hours, I had to call them to know my phone was ready, and as I walked out the door my lcd went out. After they replaced the faulty part, the replacement lcd screen was faulty (could not hang up calls, screen would not rotate). After taking my phone out of my life proof box (which I would not do unless there was an issue) to attempt to hang up a call, I dropped my phone. When I explain this situation to the associate at TC Tek, I was told there was nothing they could do. I will never be taking my business here again.

Brought in device for repair and was told that the screen would have to be replaced if they break it!!?? of course the screen was replaced. Was not told they would replace it with a cheap after market screen that broke right away from just regular handling. Went back to get it looked at and was told it would not be covered under warranty as it was broken. The screen broke because of the cheap replacement and that is the bottom line. Not only does my iPad not work now but the home button that has nothing to do with the repair does not work either. Customer service would suggest you inform the customer of the parts you use and if they are not oem. After continuing to argue with me and banging another iPad screen on the desk in front of my face the rude employee there said I would get a call from the owner. Guess what? Never got a call and I even gave them 5 days to call. Had to call them back to see if they could help... got the same answer. These guys do not stand behind their work. I would recommend other local repair places. Being in sales and customer service, this is not how you handle an unhappy customer. Not doing business there again and will recommend other businesses to all my customers and friends.Response to your replyAgreed you dont tell people you use oem parts????? Maybe you should! Your customer service is well below par. I was able to replace the screen my self. eBay is wonderfull thing. Cost $20. Oh and dont worry I fixed one of the connectors you didnt secure properly. I was having trouble with my older used computer.I couldn`t listen to music and type emails at the same time. I called TC-TEKS and talked to the staff and they recomended to bring in my PC to see how much power and memory it had and that they had several used ones that would perform better than mine.I was told by them that it takes A special PC to do what I wanted to do. They had several used ones in stock and was told which ones would do what I wanted at A reasonable price.I bought one and am very pleased with it.It performs like they told me and didn`t break the bank. After 18 years away from our home towns my wife and I came back here to enjoy our retirement. Upon arriving we found our laptop had been severely hacked. This is my first post on a business so that should say something! Twice ! Twice in three days I had to bring my phone into here and both times they failed to even meet my expectations. Which is just a working screen ! I would bring it to them a 3rd time if I had the balls. But I will spend my money somewhere else that can actually fix a phone screen like advertised. Saddest excuse for screen replacement yet.
