C&S recently replaced our roof and shingles. They were very efficient and the cost was less than I anticipated. When they were done they cleaned up thoroughly with no sign they were there.

Not someone we would use again. Contractors they used came to the house told us how they have a poor time working with CS. Left garbage constantly around the house. Concrete slab chipped all over the place apparently due to scaffolding wheels that had a rock on it. Shingles left all over the place. Nails and screws left everywhere.Weve used several other contractors in town. This was by far our worst experience for front end planning which I see others have complained about as well.I would give them two stars because the framers and siding crew were super nice but not sure that was enough for the headache we got working with CS.We learned our lesson. Just thought we would try someone new, but that blew up in our face.

Great folks great company. You can definitely tell they have grown because of their merit and integrity exercised with their clients. But dont take my word for it. See for yourself for professional installations.

My main issue was the communication. Granted, the person who bid my project left, and they supposedly did some restructuring, but I felt like we never got back to effectively communicating or managing my project. And I hired out for eight other projects at my home, this year. They ranged from a couple hours to a couple weeks in duration and were with seven different contractors and never had any communication issues... really. My project/relationship with CS was frustrating and unprofessional.

C.S. Construction did an excellent job on our exterior remodel and pergola. They were knowledgable, timely, professional and worked consistently until the project was complete. We highly recommend them!

We had them repair a water damaged entryway floor as well as replace the entryway door, add a screen door, and replace the vinyl floor covering with a new vinyl plank flooring that looks like a wood floor. They started at 11:00 on a Tuesday, and were finished Wednesday by 5:00pm. Outstanding workmanship. They did a great job of cleaning up their work area. I will definitely have them do more work for us in the future.

We were so impressed with everything, our expectations were exceeded.The work was excellent, clean up was exceptional, the workers were so respectful of our home rules (two cats) and the timing & estimate was met. All in all, this was a great experience! Certainly we would refer anyone to C.S. Construction for their building needs - both large & small. We would work with them again and again.

I had CS put a roof on my house this summer. Everything looks great. The crew was professional and were there right away in the morning. During tear off they put tarps on the ground to kept the amount of nails and debris in the yard to a minimum.

They did not try to sell us on things we didnt need, but they made sure to address any issues that came up during the project.We hired them for a home improvement project that included house wrap (weather barrier), new siding, and insulation. They also sent people over to do electrical work and install new gutters.The crew that worked on our house did an amazing job. They were very patient and always willing to listen to any questions or concerns that we had. I appreciate that they did not rush to complete the project for our house; they took the time that was needed to do quality work and they made sure it was done right.I love the work they did on our home and we plan on doing business with them again in the future. C.S. Construction did an amazing job on my roof. I recently purchased an older house that has a lot of valleys and peaks. They worked with me to help keep the costs down and even offer financing options. It only took them 3 1/2 days to complete my roof once they started. I was shocked at how fast they finished, considering how complicated and large my roof is. It looks great and they even offer a 50 year warranty. I am very satisfied with the work that C.S. construction has done.

We had an estimator to our house from CS Construction on April 3rd. We were told an estimate would be provided to us within a week. A week passed and I called leaving a voicemail with my email and phone number. I called twice after with no answer. On my forth attempt April 25th, I spoke to a man who said someone would call me back the following business day and let me know why an estimate had not yet been provided. It has been a week since that call and a month since we first worked with the estimator and still no contact from anyone at CS Construction. We wont be using them for this project or any projects we may have in the future. After the time Ive wasted with the initial appointment and multiple phone calls, I wouldnt recommend CS Construction. I gave them two stars because they did remove ice damns for us this winter and were timely with that request.

We came up with the design for a new bathroom and walk in shower and CS Construction worked with us to make sure that it turned out exactly the way we wanted it. Very professional and the quality of work was phenomenal. We are already talking about getting our roof done and when we are ready we will go back to them again. I would highly recommend them

We have an older home and needed a lot of work done. CS was great at providing information and support for all of our needs. We are very pleased with the final product of our roof, ridge vent, removal of chimney, replacement of soffit/fascia, insulation (both blow and spray foam), new windows, trim, doors, installation of patio door, installation of exterior door, and fix siding. They were timely and easy to work with.

We had a fire and C.S. was great with pricing and timing. The work done was also very good. My main complaint is communication between all of their teams and us. We went over a week without hearing anything and the gutters were just in our yard for instance. Overall, the quality definitely outweighs the few communication hiccups and we are very satisfied with the result!

My wife and I had our kitchen remodeled this summer and were very happy with the work that Frank and his crew with C.S. Construction did for us. The crew was very professional and worked around our two year old twins at home (i.e. cleaning up after each day and making sure that loose wires were not hanging down). We have a 40s east hill home and we had them knock down some walls for an open concept look. Highly recommend them for any construction, remodel, roofing needs. Job well done!

Had them do a complete roof tear-off in Fall of 2014. They did great work, installed 50 year shingles and 2 Sun tunnels all in one day. Their crew is quick, clean, and competent, and the roof looks great. I had them come back and insulate my attic a couple weeks later, and they did a great job on that too. They were right on their quoted price and there were no surprises or high-pressure sales. They were very reasonably priced, much better than the other bids I got. They even helped me with warranty paper work on my old roof. Highly recommended.

The team seemed to work very seamlessly also every one I did come in contact with was very professional and willing to do what ever it took to get the job done to my satisfaction. I would recommend and all use there services in the future.

The work they did was great, but there was definitely some miscommunication from sales to labor. The reason I still give them a five, is the owner Chris is invested in understanding and learning from the misunderstanding. I am not one who expects perfection, just responsibility. I understand I am one side of the communication, so part of the responsibility is definitely on me. It is still quite refreshing to have Chris accept responsibility on their end, and work to make sure we are happy with the finished product. I would hire them again.

They did a good job on our siding. Their prices were lower than most, but we are very pleased with the job. Their workers were friendly and helpful, and the same goes for their agent who worked with us.

The guys at CS Construction were so easy to work with! They did siding and all new windows in our house, which turned out fantastic! I will say this team is knowledgable, respectful and just all around nice guys! We have had so many compliments on our house---all thanks to the CS team!

We had a large, complicated job. The workmanship was very good. The communication from the admin was poor. Change orders were not well executed and I did a lot of cleaning up after the crew. There were periods of time where the crew didnt show up and nothing was communicated with us as to why or when they would return. There were other issues that eventually got resolved but it took a lot of time out of our schedules. Even though the workmanshop was quite good, I wouldnt deal with that headache again. My best advice- get EVERYTHING in writing.

CS finished our kitchen remodel on an older house and the result was fantastic. Moving is wall is never fun, but they had it done is 2 days. We found issues with the subflooring, HVAC ducting and electrical and they corrected it all. Overall the entire project took longer than we anticipated and we had to push through some communication issues, but the final result was worth it. Their workmanship and their choice of subcontractors was superb.

Rude estimator, easily offended, and horrible customer service. He basically said, good luck finding another contractor.Well, we found another contractor. LOL

This was my first experience with CS Construction. We had several projects that needed to be done which spanned the gamut from installation of a large pass-through window, adding an eyebrow/overhang on a garage, enhancing our attic insulation, and re-roofing the main 2-story home and large outbuilding on the property. CS did a good job, took care to not damage existing landscaping, and made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of each workday.I appreciated the BuilderTrend website which is a communication tool CS uses to stay current with project progress and to flag any concerns the client may have. I would have liked to see more project management on the job-site, but this website is monitored constantly as I always received prompt responses from any entries I made there.All projects were completed with the quality I expect from professional builders. I am a bit picky and closely monitor progress when it comes to work done on my main home . Dan (original estimator), Ben (our assigned project manager), Chris (CS owner), and James (our roofing foreman) always demonstrated the utmost respect in our dialog. Further, ALL of the CS employees were very friendly and respectful.All in all we are quite satisfied with the outcome. The missing star on this 4 star rating is because I had to initiate the questions on things I considered issues instead of pro-active communication of project status from the PM. Any issues I did surface were addressed by those assigned to my project or Chris himself. I would not hesitate to recommend CS Construction and will use them again for subsequent work I have.

We have had CS Construction do a roofing job, insulation work, finish a basement and do a garage addition for us. The work site was cleaned up each day, the crew was professional and the job completed as expected. Great company to work with, will definitely contact CS Construction for our next project.

May 10th we had someone out to the house to give us an estimate on the work wed like done and a little over a month now have heard nothing. Called the office 2 or 3 times and received a pacifier. Still nothing. Apparently they dont want our business.

UPDATE: The owner reached out to me and apologized for the delay. He explained the situation and offered to come out personally to look at my project.We had them come out to look at our project on May 10th, have called 3 times and have not heard back from them yet. I think they hate me. I really am a nice person. I guess their just not that into me.

I had C.S. Construction come out to give me an estimate on a remodeling job I wanted done. I was told hed get back to me by Wednesday with the estimate. That was now weeks ago and I havent received any communication from them. Bad way to treat a customer.
