I was referred to Slims for window tinting only to find out they were pretty much full service too! The guys were very professional and upfront about costs/what was needed. They were able to take care of all my car needs the same day which was awesome! Highly recommend them to anyone for car maintenance/repairs and window tinting!

Brought my excursion here for an alignment and everything was excellent. The customer service was great and everyone was extremely friendly towards my son and I. The prices are also super reasonable which is a bonus. Will be using their services again when needed.

After contacting multiple other shops in the area for window tinting.I decided on slims was the best choice. Frank was very informative and beat competition in the area by $40 (similar products) and was able to get me scheduled for 2 days later. Everyone else said at least a week and some where a month out. Upon arrival I was greated and assisted within 5 minutes. I left my car at 8:30am and picked it up by 11:30. These gentleman where professional and efficient. It appears they work on some beautiful classic cars and performance vehicles as. I would definitely recommend giving them an opportunity to get you together. Happy Girl! 💜

1965 Mustang, fresh restoration:I called Slims on a Friday because they were recommended by a local muffler shop that does not work on headers. Was told that I could drop the car off Monday evening and pick up Tuesday afternoon.The work was quick, transparent, and quality. I was shown the previously removed parts (paper gaskets/exhausted gasket) and also walked through the installed parts. Will use Slims for all of my performance/upgrade needs moving forward.On another note, the shop was packed with a wide range of high quality classic cars, a sign of the good work they do.UPDATE: I previously reviewed the work I had done on my 1965 Mustang. I attempted to get in again today and was told there are quite a few customers already scheduled, but I was given a date that I could get my vehicle in regardless.I decided to try and fix my vehicle myself and needed a new screw that had threaded for the points on the Mustang. The guys at Slims spent about 20 minutes tracking me down a suitable replacement at no charge. The owner/manager stated: “Well we have to keep you hot-rodding!”Great service. Great people. Will continue to rely on Slims.

Took my 2002 Mustang GT there after doing a bunch of suspension work. My car is significantly lowered and they dialed it in perfectly. Would recommend to anyone as they were also very courteous and answered every question I had.

I had my F-150 tinted at Slims back in 2013. I ended up moving to Texas shortly after and still have the truck 7 years later. The tint is still perfect no peeling, no discoloration after years of extreme Texas heat. Thank you for such an excellent quality product and job!

After a horrible experience a Belle Tire on 14 and Van Dyke trying to get an alignment for my car where i had just purchased tires. I got every excuse in the book for why they couldn,t align the car. Three trips later i finally had enough and demanded my money back and took it to Slims. I dropped it off in the morning and in about an hour they called me back and said it was ready. Drives fantastic now. Moral of the story. Dont let Belle Tire touch your car take it to the professionals over at Slims. Also Slims was $30 cheaper than Belle Tire and that also included a tire rotation.

Hands down the best alignment shop I have ever been too. I have a lifted f-150 and all the other alignment shops just dont care, they say,cause its lifted, you will never have the tires right ....if you have the proper equipment and have the truck lifted correctly, which is what I did, you can have it properly aligned. and these guys knocked it out of the park. will be returning and would recommend to anyone.

WONDERFUL !!! My 1977 Corvette had a rear wheel that needed toe out on top and SLIMS got me in and out in no time. AND they are VERY warm and friendly. They made me feel like one of there best friends and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Slims auto on 10 mile @ Gratiot to anyone without a good repair shop. Or should I say HOT ROD SHOP. No kidding though these guys are very good and they know what they are doing. Go with confidence and relax.

Ive had them work on my personal vehicles. Always very professional. Of course they charge you to look at your car, their time is valuable. The poor reviews are from people who want everything for nothing. As a woman, they were very respectful towards me. They were just as respectful towards me as a vendor too.

If there is any problem with your alignment you will be blamed or your car, plus some attitude on top. My tires are wearing on the inside tread, I had my car for 10 years and I has only wore on the outside because of the aggressive toe angle it was designed to have.NEVER AGAIN!

This place is A1! My BMW was ridding like garbage after I put racing springs and shocks on it. Dropped it off for an alignment and it was a night and day difference after they were done with it. Car feels amazing. Can’t beat the price. Mechanic I delt with was awesome. I will 100% be a repeat customer.

Possibly the worst service I have ever received at an auto shop. Was not informed that there was a fee for having the car looked at and when my father informed the man at the counter that we were not made aware of the charge when we dropped the car off the man became very rude and said she dropped the car off not you. Youre not my customer I couldnt give a s**t what you think. Overall will never be returning to this shop and would not recommend to anyone else.
