I went to MRT jewelers to have my engagement and wedding band sized down. I was helped by William and he was so nice and professional. It took about a week for my rings to come back from being fixed and I couldn’t be happier. They look so beautiful and brand new. When I got them back I couldn’t believe they were mine because I haven’t seen them look so bright and shiny in so long. My fiance custom designed my engagement ring with the team at MRT and I could not be happier with it. The diamond is GIA certified and came with all of the documentation and specs for me to keep. The ring was too big for me so we brought it in to get it resized by their in-house jeweler and they had it ready for me in 2 hours! Not only did they make my most special belonging for me, but they made the experience for both me and my fiance incredibly special. The owner is so personable and truly cares about the pieces that leave his store. He let me know that I can bring my ring in a couple of times a year for cleanings and to have it inspected. We will most definitely purchase our weddings bands there. Absolutely gorgeous ring and incredibly beautiful store.

Very helpful and friendly sales people. I wasnt sure exactly what I wanted I knew a few features that I wanted in the ring. The salesman asked me several ?s, showed me a couple then excused himself for a moment and came back with three that I found were exactly what I was would purchase I chose one of them which has to be resized to fit and will be done within two working days thus close to Christmas. Great job. I will be doing more business for sure.

I highly recommend M.R.T. Jewelers. I walked into the store in January to pick out an engagement ring. Dave spent probably about two hours with me showing me different diamonds that fit my budget. I never felt pressured or rushed. I ended up going back a few days later because something felt off about the diamond I chose. Dave spent another half hour or so showing me different diamonds until I chose the perfect one (the very first diamond he had shown me on my first day in the store). The ring was more beautiful than I can ever imagine, and she said yes! Looking forward to picking out my engagement ring and our wedding bands at M.R.T. soon!

My mother had my grandfather‘s wedding ring turn into a pendant for me as a birthday gift about six years ago we used to like the jeweler from the previous owner however I broke my chain twice and I noticed when I got that back after the repair it just didn’t look or feel the same but I don’t have a lot of knowledge in jewelry so I kind of look past it but a year after having my chain repaired my new jeweler informed me that it was a cheap popcorn style chain and my mothers receipt so she bought an expensive gold box chain when calling the store and talking toThe owner he told me they have a white gold chain on file and that it was a cheap style even though I didn’t even have a white gold chain to begin with their records are mixed up I’m pretty sure they either intentionally or accidentally swapped my expensive chain out for a cheap one and I didn’t notice until a new jeweler explain to me the difference don’t go here they rip you off on the price And apparently keep poor records of what you truly have bought the owner was also rude with me on the phone calling me a liar go to Hannoush jewelers instead

I was having trouble finding a band because my ring was too low set. I couldn’t find any jeweler willing to help us. David at MRT was willing to work with us so now I can fit a band flush after many jewelers turned us down. LOVE the final product! Beautiful work. I couldnt have had a better experience buying an engagement ring at MRT! In my first visit, Dave gave me his full attention and spent almost 2 hours with me going through the entire process. Over the next few visits, he shipped in multiple diamonds for us to review together until we decided on the perfect choice for my fiance. There were other customers but perhaps they judged a book by its cover and decided I wasn’t there to spend money, which I absolutely was. I walked out after a few minutes of that. Their loss.

The customer service at MRT was extremely poor. I advised the sales person that my rings had been recently appraised by a friend. She then asked, why didn’t that friend purchase my jewelry? It wasn’t just the question, it was the tone in her voice. At that moment, I decided to end the conversation and leave. I was very disappointed that at time she didn’t realize how rude and disrespectful she was. Nor did she try to salvage a potential sale/purchase. The great news was that I found a buyer, Providence Diamond, in Rhode Island. The staff was very accommodating and honest. Your lost another’s gain!!!!

I have been a customer of MRT for over 20 years. I used to compare pricing with the other stores of similar high quality but stopped because they were constantly 20% lower after at least 5 times. But by that time I was so hooked on their quality and service, they could have been 20% more and I would still have bought from MRT [but shh dont tell them I said that] Also once you buy something from them they will inspect it, clean it and even resize it for no charge. They could not be any better!

10 years ago I brought many many pieces of gold jewelry that I had no longer used to MRT to create some solid gold bangles for myself. The woman behind the counter told me I had enough to make 2 bangle bracelets. When the bracelets were completed I asked her why I was only able to make 2 bracelets from the whole bag of gold that I had brought in and her reply was that all of the other metals were melted out and this is what we was left with. Not knowing enough about the process I believed her. 5 years later I went back to have more bracelets made and not having nearly as much gold as I did the first time, the salesman said there was enough gold to create 6 bracelets. I never said anything but deep down inside knew something wasnt right and the woman had not been honest with me. Not sure what ever happened to all of my other gold, or the saleswoman, but I hope someone eventually caught on to her!

I have tried several times to give MRTs the benefit of the doubt because they are local and not a big chain store. Unfortunately each time I have gone in there I have been met with a stuck up attitude and a lack of customer service. Ive had a ring made there, repairs made and each time its the same thing.
